Best ever!
I've used Crawford and Son for over 10 years. Although I don't have to call them very often, when I do they are responsive, honest, professional and are very good at taking care of what ever HVAC issue we might be having. I highly recommend them.
Had an issue with our furnace over Christmas. They called back right away to schedule a technician for the next day. The technician, Kyle, was friendly, communicative and the same person who did our install - two years later. He was honest about the very minor issue that was creating our issues. And was able to fix it quickly. I appreciated that he was straightforward and didn’t try to rip us off for a bigger expense. Overall, great trustworthy service from a local small business.
Mr. Crawford was ending his work day when we called, and he stopped by on his way home. He was able to fix our heat pump immediately. Excellent service.

Had them install a new furnace, absolutely amazing job! Great family business! They have helped us out a few times over the past year “patching” our old furnace and installing the new one when we needed it! Would highly recommend!
I do not recommend this company for service of your heating system. I called for maintenance on my Furnace. They indicated they would "fit me in" to their busy schedule. When they refused to service furnace because they said they had quoted a price for a new furnace years ago and we had used someone else. Office indicated they had did not have a record for this address.
I would highly recommend Crawford and Son to anyone looking for HVAC needs. They were clean, professional, responsible and informative, as well as skilled! We purchased a home that's over 100 years old with a dead furnace, no ac, and no return lines in the upstairs. Some companies didn't even want to run return lines upstairs because of the plaster walls and ceiling, but we knew we needed it if we truly wanted our home to be comfortable on both levels. They took their time and were very efficient. Their cuts were clean in our plaster walls with 0 crumbling or imperfections. The humidity in our house was so high that the system was sweating when they tested it, so they decided to come back at a later time to tape everything up and make sure everything was sealed up. I live on the other side of Columbus, so them committing to that to make sure the job was done right was a big commitment. We haven't had any issues with the system and it has been INCREDIBLE. They hauled out the old system and lines they replaced and cleaned up when they were all done, (even some piles they didn't even make). These guys were super helpful, and they were very respectful to the house and to my family. I almost can't wait until I need service on the system so I can have them over again! The furnace 🔥 wasn’t working at the condo consistently (Dec. 2019) for about a week and we had done all that we knew to do without over-stepping the boundaries at this point of what was safest. We had heard wonderful things about Crawford and Sons Heating and Cooling; so I called📱 them and was told they’d have someone out that same evening. They held true to their word ✝️ and Scott 👤 was here within a few hours. Not only was he friendly 😁 , kind 🙂 and patient 😉 - he fixed the problem quickly ⚡️, efficiently 💫 and quite affordably 💵 . He also clearly communicated to us what the problem was and reassured 👌🏼 us that he had fixed it 🔥 properly. As promised - it’s been about two months and we are in the coldest 🌧🥶🌨 month of the season yet and the furnace 🔥 has been working consistently like a gem 💎. We are so grateful 🙏🏼 to know that there are hard working 💪🏼 , honest ✝️ businesses like Crawford and Sons 👤👥 to rely upon ✨ during times of trouble. Thank you ❗️❗️❗️
Above and beyond customer service, did everything possible to make it right. Already have told my friends if they need HVAC guys, this is where to go! The slogan is no jive, they really do treat you like family.

I trend to go a bit overboard when researching something I'm about to purchase. When seeking a new heating solution, I spent weeks looking into things, which included talking to 4 different HVAC companies. Even though I kept Scott here for about an hour asking him various questions, and then followed-up later with another half hour phone call asking MORE questions, he was polite and patient and helpful as can be. He pointed out many things the other companies did not, had a competitive price, and did ALL the work himself (unlike some companies where they told me I had to hire a separate electrician or do something myself.) He took care of everything and then some, and I liked that he actually did the install rather than send out some crew I hadn't met. Crawford & Son were fast yet meticulous and I'm thrilled with our new heat pump. We moved into the area over a year ago, and it's always daunting when you have to build up a new list of "your guys" whom you know and trust as you try service company after service company. So glad we found our HVAC company for life on the 1st try!
If you are looking for a heating and cooling company, there is no one in all of Columbus that is better than they are. They are licensed and bonded and they have been in business for more than 20 years. If it can be repaired, Scott can fix it. He is honest and reasonably priced. He is the best!!!!
Crawford & Son are top-notch. Scott installed my furnace and A/C about 9 years ago and did a great job. Over the years, a few minor issues have come up and Scott and Dan always provide excellent, prompt service. Not only are they skilled but they are also honest and very polite. I've referred a few friends to Crawford & Son and they are all happy too.
I called on Tuesday after hours and got a call back within 45 minutes from Angie. She set up our service call for the next afternoon after hours because they are really busy this time of year. Of course I thought that was really quick service, but that's the type of people the Crawford's are. Always willing to help no matter what. Son Daniel came out and discovered that no, it wasn't freon that we needed, it was a simple capacitor that had blown. We've had a power brown-out situation 2x in the last month and it probably just gave out. Daniel replaced it and checked the rest of the system. He was on his way in under an hour, returning home to his wife and family while my family returned to a cool house. Thanks Crawford & Son! You are the Best! Good People and Great Service! These guys are the best! Daniel came to our house found the problem with our AC unit and got it fixed. No BS no sales pitch just got the job done at a reasonable price, I will not call anyone else in the future. I highly recommend them, don't be disappointed if they can't get there right away, I used the guy in the past that can get there in an hour, and I found out why he could be there so quick.
Their professionalism, technical knowledge and honesty made me completely satisfied, and will recommend to anyone without hesitation.
Returned my call quickly. Didn't try to sell me extras. Work was done fast. They were very competent and efficient. Would use again anytime.
Had them install my air conditioner and evaporator coil after the old unit needed to be replaced. The work was excellent from start to finish. Even had a minor issue after they installed and they were at my house that night to find out what the problem was and back within a day to get it fixed. You only find that kind of service from a company that cares. EXCELLENT
I've used Crawford and Son Heating and Cooling because they were recommended after a bad, very expensive experience with another contractor. I have had to call them for two different problems now and both were fixed quickly, professionally, and at a very reasonable, fair cost. My most recent experience was when my AC quit during a mid 80's heat wave. Scott was able to get to my home within hours of my call (something I didn't expect but am extremely grateful for) and got my unit up and running in no time. They will remain my contractor of choice and I will recommend them to anyone that asks. Thanks Again!
