My air went out over the weekend, my water heater broke, and my basement flooded. I texted them that morning, and they were at my house the same morning. They went over and beyond to help me with my AC and water heater. They even helped me with the water in the basement. Their service is exceptional and their customer service is over and beyond anything I have experienced. I highly recommend them!!!
Quick response when our heat was not working
Emily has been to our house several times and has done an amazing job. In fact we have had several people from coolmax come over the past year and now I refuse to work with anyone else. They are a great company but still small enough to feel like your dealing with real people. Will always recommend them.
Emily is a star technician and is an asset to the company as well as Rick and Julie. Emily is very skilled and possesses a great deal of professionalism when it comes to customer service. She is friendly and will make you feel at ease during a possibly stressful situation. I will be calling Cool Max for any future heating/AC needs.

We've had Emily from Cool Max out to our house twice since June. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional and thorough. She does an outstanding job of explaining things and detailing options to address any issues. She is very responsive and always on time. We had her out once during the severe and extended heat wave in June. After being told by several other companies that they couldn't come see us for a week, Cool Max and Emily made room in their schedule to fit us in on the same day and get our AC repaired. With a 4yr old and 2yr old my wife and I were very thankful that they value customer service so much. We just had Emily out again for our preventive maintenance and again she did a thorough job and helped us address some small issues before they got bigger and more expensive. If you're looking for a small business to meet your HVAC needs then I highly recommend Cool Max and especially Emily. They definitely place a high-value on their customer experience and they do thorough and top-notch work!
$120 to come out, $550 for Freon, 5 days later my unit is not cooling anymore . Didn’t even try to identify the leak, just said oh it’s 11 years old gotta replace it .
Emily was friendly, professional, and very open about the details of the issue. She exudes trustworthiness, which is very weird for an HVAC professional. We were happy that the A/C fix was diagnosed and fixed during the same visit and QUICKLY! I have no idea whether the price was good, but it was about what I expected. Would I use them again? Absolutely. As long as Emily is available.
Super fast response. Rick the Technician came out the same day and fixed my AC on the spot while providing outstanding customer service by walking me through the process step by step. I’m very satisfied with this business and can highly recommend their services. Thank you COOL MAX Team!

Emily was great. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She diagnosed the problem quickly and had the heating system repaired and running the same day. I found them by looking up heating and air conditioning online. I started at the top of the list and went down. They were the ones who answered the phone. They came out the same day. They also followed up to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I will continue to use this company.
Paul is a great technician. He was very helpful and made sure my heat was working properly. This is a wonderful family business. Paul is an asset to his family’s business.
Great service!! Very happy with the team responsiveness and service. Very thankful to have someone who was able to come out and work on my A/C unit the day after Christmas.
CoolMax answered my call, answered every question, and responded immediately. The 1st time I used them was for air conditioning. He came the next morning and was back to fix it as soon as he was able to get the part. My air conditioner is 25 years old and on it's last leg. But he didn't try to sell me a new one, he just fixed it. The 2nd time i called them, my water heater had burst. Again they were out here the next day. As soon as we were able to dry the floor, they were back to install a new tank. They put in a really good (Rheam) water heater. They were friendly, polite, professional and honest. We are new to Georgia, and didn't have time in the emergencies we were dealt, so we were truly blessed to have this company work for us. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I will have them back next summer to put in a new a/c unit for us.
Paul, Rick, and David were all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout. They gave me a reasonable quote, explained the services that would be provided, they fixed things thoroughly, were on time, and they were willing to show me as the homeowner different things I could do to fix other issues beyond their visit. I am beyond happy with their work and service and know that I will only be using them from here on forward!
Absolutely phenomenal experience. The technicians were SO polite, efficient and went above and beyond to fix our AC. I’ve dealt with several companies over the years. I’ve been lied to. Over charged. The list goes on. They were absolutely wonderful and I will definitely use them again!!
We can always count on Cool Max. Emily has been our primary tech for the 6 years we have been using them and she is wonderful. She does a great job. This spring Rick was our tech and just like Emily in the past he did a very thorough job. I have and would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service/replacement.
Paul, David and the rest of the team are always a pleasure to work with! We have been using Cool Max now for several years on the maintenance part of our heating and air conditioning units. We just recently decided to upgrade our units before summer gets here and I had no worries because I knew I could trust Cool Max to handle the job. * Update: We used Coolmax previously for our old home and we recently had an issue with airflow in our new home. Paul and his team (Rick and David) were able to come in and fix the issue without having to tear down walls and figure out the problem (like other places quoted us). We are very happy with this company for the 2nd year in a row. They truly care about their customers and the service they offer. This is very much a company of true integrity. Special thanks also to Lanie for reaching out a year later to follow up on a season tune up. We truly believe that contact was a God send. Many thanks to everyone again! So happy to have found this company online. Very knowledgeable, professional and responsive! A family run company. They were able to replace our AC unit within 24 hrs. They are a great company and highly recommended in the Buford, northern Gwinnett area.
When I experienced A.C. issues and could not get a tech from several service providers, I found Cool Max and depended on them ever since. The team knows me personally, checks on me several times a year, and can fit me in the same day if a problem occurs. I always recommend this team.
