Their installation ran the drain line into my wall, which flooded my downstairs ceiling. They also wired it wrong which almost burned my house down and fried most of its electronics. My unit is less than 2 years old and basically needs most of it replaced now by a real company. I'm now in debt for both the unit they sold me as well as a few thousand in damages. Their work on my house was criminally bad and it looks like they've already shut down business. No one has answered calls at their number in over 6 months. I will have to seek legal counsel to find them.
I tried to email my contact from there and the email bounced back. Their phone number goes to a full mailbox. I'm guessing they are out of business...
In June of 2017 Cool & Comfort Services installed a brand new Day and Night manufactured AC unit at our current residence (We purchased the condo and finalized at the beginning of September of that year 2017 after the install of the unit). The AC was not utilized until needed in the beginning of May 2018. We discovered that the unit was not running properly so we contacted CCS for a scheduled check up that resulted in no resolution. By mid May the outside AC unit was not working at all & again CCS sent a subcontractor to diagnose & fix the unit. At this point it was weeks away from our labor warranty expiring (1yr labor, 5yr parts). It took 2 weeks in the summer heat with no AC & no offer from the company to accommodate us for them to repair what they had determined to be a faulty compressor and replace it with a new one. The compressor was replaced on Friday, May 18th 2018. On Friday, July 6th 2018 (49 days later) we came home to find the AC was out yet again, my condo was 98 degrees; we were now in mid-summer, with multiple pets languishing in the sweltering heat. Again, we contacted CCS to assess the problem & fix our AC (that was no longer warrantied for labor). The diagnosis now was that the txv valve had gone bad & needed to be replaced. CCS was not able to get this part until the following Monday, leaving us & our pets in the sweltering Arizona summer heat for three days, with no offer of accommodations. They showed up to complete the work, but also gave us more bad news - the technician informed us that the BRAND NEW compressor that they installed on May 18th 2018 was now bad & needed to be replaced. With frustration brewing & feeling hopeless, we reluctantly reached out to an independent contractor for a second opinion. His assessment: To begin the compressor that is currently in the unit is working fine... on August 2nd after multiple attempts to diagnose the issue, he identified that the coolant was leaking out through the coils in the AC handler, near wh
Great and fast service.
Rudy is personable, professional and an expert on HVAC systems. He can answer questions and explain technical issues such that even I can understand them. He is very efficient - no wasted motion. I highly recommend Cool and Comfort and Rudy Acosta. Quality service at a fair price.
Always honest and up front about the work they have to do or the work that they did, great people skills and an excellent knowledge of the work at hand. Rudy is a 6 star kind of guy that you'd want working on your AC unit hands down, thank you Cool & Comfort HVAC Service thank you.
I used these people for a new AC and they were great. Not only did they do a excellent job on installation but had very reasonable prices. Service was done on time and there was no mess when they left. We are now saving about 100 dollars a month on our APS bill too!
The best experience I've ever had with an AC company. My AC unit went out on a Sunday night. They were out on Monday morning to assess and a couple days later I had a new unit. They were honest and the installation was quick and painless; all in the middle of a blazing hot Phoenix summer when every other AC company told me it would take at least a week to to get out to see me and longer to replace my AC unit. I highly recommend this company!
Replaced ac unit. There pricing was more than competitive. All contacts were polite and professional. All employees were prompt and willing to answer are questions. Very satisfying experience. Highly recommended.
Our A/c went out and Mike showed up and let us know what was wrong with the unit. He offered several options and after some discussions we decided to buy a new unit from him. It was installed the next day and we couldn't be happier with the service and the price. Thank you Cool and Comfort, we are great full and highly recommend this company.
Patrick and the guys at Cool & Comfort have been great to work with. Obviously when living in the desert of Phoenix, if you air conditioning system is having issues its a problem. Their team is always quick to come out to the job site and get the system back in order and in a professional manner.
