They sent a Tech out within a few hours of calling. Austin showed up and was extremely informative and professional.
Family Owned and Operated and you can tell! This company cares about their customers. Our A/C went out on a Friday evening. I called and left a VM and my call was promptly returned by Cherie who is the owner. She immediately scheduled a service call for first thing Saturday morning. The service call fee was considerably cheaper than the majority of most companies. The technician (Junior/Edwin) was prompt and professional and most importantly knowledgeable. Luckily our issue was covered under warranty but I will use Cool Change for all my HVAC needs.

A larger company wanted to replace my entire system without even making a concrete diagnosis of the problem. I called Cool Change for a second opinion and they were able to find and fix the problem for a very reasonable price, offering to deduct that amount off the cost of a new system, should that be the case after all. I read the other reviews on here that were critical of Cool Change's responsiveness to calls but I did not find this to be the case. I called them on recommendation of my neighbor, who also had an extremely positive experience with them. As far as I'm concerned, Cool Change is my new air conditioning repair company, and I feel relieved to have found honest people doing business in this industry!
I called for service two days ago. They haven't bothered to call me back. That's OK. I found another contractor who returned my call the same day. I won't bother Cool Change with phone calls again... and I'm letting everyone else know not to bother them, as well.
My experience was horrible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!!. My air conditioner was out for 2 days prior to this company's technician arriving. They told me when I made the appointment that the technician should arrive around 1130 am Friday, June 19. Then they called back and said he would be there by 3:30 pm. The actual arrival was around 4:20 pm only to tell me there was ice build up on the coils and it would take approximately 2 hours for the ice to melt before he could work on the unit. The technician advised me and my husband that he would go to another job and would return within 2 hours to complete the repair. The technician left our home around 4:45 and never returned to our home to make the repair. It is now 2:15 Saturday, June 20. We called another company and we are waiting for them to arrive. Needless to say it is going to be in the high 90's today and it is already hot and has been for the last 3 days. This company, Cool change Heating & Air are not open on the weekends. I am going to give them a call Monday morning to express my displeasing experience with their company and will NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN. How can they do this to people who are just trying to get a major appliance repaired during a extremely hot time of year.
