I have used Bill Mcintosh and his team at Cool Air Technologies for years. He has prolonged the life of my original AC unit for years and this year installed a whole new HVAC heating and cooling system, which I absolutely love. Bill and his team are professional, knowledgeable, always answer the phone, they respond quickly, and always take care of my air conditioning and heating problems. You can rely on this team. I will continue to use them and I highly recommend them to everyone!
A handful of years ago, Bill from Cool Air Technologies, came out and had our furnace and AC replaced. We were very pleased with the whole install. OK, now we added some substantial sq. feet to our house and needed an upgrade for the additional footage to our home. Bill again came out and we went with the EQ he suggested. The techs, Miguel and George, worked through the day and the install was complete. This crew was very professional and cleaned up like they were never there. Except for a very, very quiet system. I would have added the footage earlier if I knew the newer EQ was going to be so much more quiet and efficient. Again, thank you Cool Air Technologies. This is a five star company to say the least. This is the second time I've had the opportunity to work with Cool Air Technologies and I couldn't be more pleased. Seven years ago they replaced my whole system and it's worked perfectly every since. They recently replaced my duct work due to rodent damage. They came right out and finished the job quickly and efficiently. Bill and Trish are great to work with. They are a small mom and pop shop and offer great values as you deal directly with the owners of the company. I highly recommend!
I called Cool Air technologies Sat and talk to the owners wife who explained it's just her and her husband Bill who have the business. Bill came out with his assistant within an hour and fixed my A/C. He test it and it was low on Freon. He explained that since my A/C was an older model that it needed R22 Freon which is being outlawed in CA in the new future. The cost was $400.00 for adding 2 pounds of R22 Freon which is the going cost. I would recommend Bill and his wife's company Cool Air Technologies because they give you a fair price and don't try to upsell you anything. They came out that same day and it was a labor day weekend when all the other companies couldn't come out for a week.
If every repair and maintenance company were as good as these people, it would be a better world. I've used them on two occasions for different problems with my HVAC system. They were very thorough in searching for the causes of the trouble, and they were able to correct the problems in short order, even though these were not simple issues. They showed me steps I could take to prevent recurrences and to improve the operation of my system. At no point did they try to push for extra, unneeded services. Simply the best!

1st off, I have to apologize for taking so long to to write this review. I've been really enjoying my new heater. Cool Air Technologies installed a new heater and air conditioner in my home last month and they did an amazing job. The crew showed up on time and removed the old heater, installed the new heater, air conditioner and all new ducting in one day with two people, it was estimated as a two day job. They were incredible. Friendly, courteous and hard working. I would STRONGLY recommend this company for any HVAC work. Thanks to Bill, Trish and all the crew.
Great quick service. Called for a not working heater at my elder dad’s house and Bill returned my call (a biggy) and had it fixed in a day. The quick response and fast fix was priceless. Highly recommend and would use again.
Contacted Bill for a 2d opinion on an expensive Furnace Repair. Bill responded on same day and determined that repair was over priced. Recommended a complete replacement of furnace and AC at nearly same cost of original estimate. Crew was on time at 8am, professional, cleaned up and gone by 2pm. Best thing about Cool Air is NO creative selling. Service you can trust!
I surveyed multiple local HVAC installers across several different brands; Cool Air Technologies beat them all out. What stood out firstly was their responsiveness and patience in working with me and addressing my needs. This was a project that was completed in early August when many other operations had more than enough business and little bandwidth to take me on. I had an HVAC system that was >30 years old and needed a complete replacement. Bill and team helped build my knowledge base around HVAC systems and helped me to make an informed decision about what I wanted to do. For reference, Cool Air Tech works with Tempstar which is an ICP brand (think Heil, Day & Night, etc.). After doing research around different brands, I decided to go with ICP for their reputation as being affordable and reliable (essentially getting Carrier quality for an affordable price). Given how much time I spent on researching, I was very particular about the details of the install and really, updating the layout of the HVAC system in my house. Cool Air Technologies worked together with me to meet my goals. I strongly recommend them for their professionalism, Bill's knowledge and friendliness, and their dedication to seeing the job through to absolute completion.
I have known Bill for 18 years and he is simply the most professional and knowledgeable HVAC contractor in the business! Bill has done work for us over the years and today he worked on Our sons first home…. Bill is a “throwback “ to what contractors used to be- NO BS and he will tell you what is wrong with your system and how To fix it, but he won’t try to sell you something you don’t need!! If you are looking for an HVAC contractor- call Bill and you will never use another contractor again!!
I am a special needs mom and needed my AC repaired quickly. I was given an appointment for next day and the technician, Bill actually came early. He was professional, understanding and patient with my daughter with severe Autism whom had a lot of questions for him. He didn’t mind taking the time to answer them. He even didn’t pass judgment on the disarray that my house was in or the fact that my two littles were walking around in just diapers. Bill diagnosed the problem very quickly and took care of it even faster. We now have our AC working just in time for the hot days ahead. If I ever have issues again, I will definitely be contacting Cool Air Technologies again. Thank you!
Bill and crew were great to work with. Cool Air Tech responded quickly to my issue with the heater. They promptly scheduled a visit to my home to assess the situation. I appreciate Bill explaining all details of what was required to get the heater back up and running. My unit is older and there was no pressure to replace as long as it was repairable. The repairs and necessary parts required were all completed before noon. The heater is working and we will definitely reach out for a PM on the A/C before summer. Highly recommend this company.!

I just bought a house and the AC unit and furnace were the originals from 1983 and inoperable. I requested a few quotes and Bill came out from Cool Air the next day. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided the most detailed quote. I chose Cool Air because I felt like I knew exactly what I was paying for and would not be surprised with additional costs. I also mentioned wanting a smart thermostat and he made a recommendation. They scheduled me right away and the installation went seamlessly and they even installed my smart thermostat. Bill came by afterwards to walk me through proper maintenance and warranty information. Overall professional service and I was very happy.
On one of the hottest days of the year, they were the only service that responded to my calls, came out the same day and did a great job for a fair price. Trish rocks!!
Cool Air Tech of Tustin provided an excellent experience installing our A/C system. The price was fair the work done exceeded the contract as additional services were needed---at no extra cost. Bill the owner walked me through what needed to be done, the new equipment and the scope of the installation work. The install team was professional--right on time--and performed the work quickly and efficiently with a minimum of disruption to my home (including my finicky busybody dog.) I offer my wholehearted endorsement of Cool Air Tech Tustin and recommend them to my good neighbors.
The entire Cool Air Technologies team was professional and easy to work with. The install team took excellent care of my home and worked tirelessly throughout a very hot day. They wore masks, gloves, and booties (when able to) which was very important to my household. Bill provided excellent guidance throughout the process. When the job was finished our home was clean and most importantly much cooler!
