Just when I think great customer service is a thing of the past, Cook Heating and Cooling proved me wrong. From my first phone call to Lisa who was extremely pleasant and helpful to an onsite visit from Don I received five star service. I learned more about my furnace system from Don than from the original installer. I tend to stay away from contractors who try to scare me into service, and that was not the case with Cook. Don explained in detail exactly what was going and gave me great advice on the filtration system - most appreciated. Friendly, helpful and professional - thank you so much!

Should've posted this long ago. Cooks Heating And Cooling is a great company with reasonable prices but most importantly, HONEST. The only company that I had out for a quote for a new hvac system that asked me why I was replacing it because mine was just fine (my old hvac company lied to me saying I needed a new one). Saved me thousands of dollars and earned themselves a lifetime customer.

Called on a Saturday because the heat was out, thinking that they were the company that installed the unit. I was wrong, but someone got back to me promptly (Lisa) and spent time on her Saturday trying to find me in the system and help me out. They were willing to get a tech out to me and wanted to get everything right for me even though it was a warranty call, and wanted to make sure that their customers were taken care of. In my experience, this is a rare thing to find in a service company, would definitely recommend them to someone that’s looking for lasting solutions and peace of mind, thank you Cook HVaC!
This is hands-down the best heating & cooling service in the area. We've used Cook's for many years and across many services (HVAC/AC maintenance/repair, installing a new water heater, etc) and found them to be honest, responsive, professional & price competitive each time. I highly recommend them.

Cook is a good old fashioned family business. I genuinely feel that they appreciate my being a customer. Don assisted us with an air conditioner issue earlier this year with a very novel solution. Recently, I talked to Don again to report a furnace problem. Several times during the call he proactively addressed issues concerning my family's safety. During a cold spell recently, where I imagine everyone's furnace breaks down at the same time, Cook Heating found time to fit us in fairly quickly. A very polite gentleman arrived at our home on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and got us back up and running. As with the air conditioner issue earlier this year, the price was very fair, the area was left neat and clean and a thorough explanation of the problem and preventive measures was provided. As a resident of Lake Zurich for 18 years, I've had many people in my home quoting and performing various repairs and installations. Cook Heating & Cooling provides me with a level of comfort and confidence that I rarely enjoy anymore.
Our office had the furnace go down on a Saturday. Another company came out, shut the unit down, told us to get space heathers and said they would be in touch with options. Left us like that over the weekend with nothing but an email mid-week with a quote for a new furnace. Cook's came out promptly, identified the issue and repaired it quickly for a very reasonable price. Don knew everything there was to know about how our furnace works, was able to explain it to us and most importantly, fix it in a timely fashion so our business wasn't affected. They are honest and do great work.

I have used them for a couple years for clean and checks. They have always been reliable. Recently I had them complete a larger project. They gave me multiple options, were on time, and completed the project on budget. I would highly recommend this company.
I called on a Sunday with an urgent issue. I have a boiler and many do not know what to do with them. They arrived by noon and they were friendly and efficient. Love that they didn’t gauge me. Charged an hourly rate and fair price. I would highly recommend this company.
