Scope of work: Seal all ducts, re-work sheet metal over furnace, attach non functional returns. Provide blower door test results prior to work starting and at the end to show the improvement of their work. Disappointing company to work with, post Sales process. The owner of this company is knowledgable. I thought that he was a bit abrasive at first but chalked it up to being overly sensitive on our part. Unfortunately, dealing with Tina (office administrator) and Steve (installer) was less than ideal. I let Mike talk me into re-doing my sheet metal over my furnace as an add on to the original scope of the job because he seemed extremely knowledgable and it was his recommendation. Office administrator was snarky when dealing with over the phone when she called me to schedule and during additional follow ups. The installer broke my Humidifier during removal which wasn't a huge issue. I was happy to pay an additional $700 to replace. -.- Mistakes happen. At the end of the job the installer told me that my AC unit needed its refrigerant to be refilled and tried to sell me $700 worth of freon. The AC unit was not part of any conversation during the Sales process. Since this came across as suspicious, I decided to bring in another company in to perform a clean and check on my AC unit once the job completed for some peace of mind. The other company's report on my AC unit told us that my system was over charged and did not need any refrigerant. No leaks. When I brought this situation up to Mike, he told me that I likely misunderstood his installer. Overall, the company disappoints. The sheet metal work was marginal at best, I had to request that they cover up the gaping holes they left in the sheet metal upon my own inspection of their work. This was not disclosed but was found by myself on the last day. I asked for the adhesive sealant to be used on the corners/edges of their sheet metal and to tape the large hole. I’ve been with Convenient since 2014. They have always been responsive with quality work. In 2018, I had a five year old furnace replaced at my new house that was junk put in by the builder. At this time, Mike sold me a NSI carbon monoxide detector. Two months later it saved my life when a faulty sump pump battery backup overheated and was emitting carbon monoxide. Also, put in by the builder. Today, Brett, a new technician at Convenient, replaced a faulty circuit breaker. He is always informative and readily answers all my questions. Which are many. Thank you Convenient and Brett.

Mike from Convenient is not your regular HVAC guy, He is some kind of scientist or engineer. Nobody knows more about HVAC systems than mike. I had about 8 companies come out to sell me a new box (the same exact one i had before) without even looking into my duct work issues. Mike came in to my home with all sorts of measuring tools and diagnosed all the real issues with my entire system. My ducts were leaking, my returns were to too small causing excessive negative pressure, and my current furnace was 2 -3 times too large for my home. For 22 years I have been running a totally inefficient system. In 2 days, for a very reasonable price, Mike and his amazing techs installed a new furnace, sealed my ducts, resized my returns to exact specifications,and dialed in every vent in my house even adjusting temps and humidity to my liking in each room. I now have a super efficient, very quiet, and super teched out HVAC system that keeps me comfortable in every room in my home every minute of the day. He even came back out to make a few adjustments after everything settled in just to make sure I was satisfied. He will be my "go to" for all maintenance, repairs, and replacements, as long as i live here or within his service area. Dont go anywhere else. Update: my furnace has been running great, It's been maintained with excellence. And I had a recent issue with some rats making a nest in my air-conditioner and Mike came out faster than the flash,fixed my issue and enlightened with me my options for the future which will most certainly be with convenient.

After several estimates from different companies I gave Convenient Heating and Cooling a call. After speaking with the owner about my malfunctioning furnace, I decided that he seemed to be the most knowledgeable about my problem. He showed up to my home within an hour to assess my furnace and fixed the problem quickly. Very knowledgeable and friendly individual. I appreciate his prompt and helpful service.

Hold on to your Wallet. Made appointment a service man came in 3 hours. Took 10 minutes to diagnose my furnace problem. Everything is good to this point. I was told it is the control board. The repair man then took 15 minutes to locate a board in his packed van. Then i was told he must return to his shop to get a board. On his return 20 minutes later i asked how much the total repair would be. $652 plus $72 for diagnose. I could not afford this and asked if he can wave the $72.00 as most good repair serves do. I was told no. Payed $72 dollars and sent him on the way. My brother purchased the board for $99.00 and took him 10 minutes to switch all 12 wires. never going to use this place again!!
