Three months ago we received a bill for $35.18 with no explanation for charge. The document shows Service Protection Plan $0.00, Equipment sales Charges $0.00, Service Charges $0.00. We have called the 844-823-HOME number and explained that we have not used any of their services and asked to speak with someone that could help us and get a please hold and no one answers and the connection drops or the person we're talking to just hangs up. To the best of our knowledge we have no contract with your company but we have to date received three bills.
If you have constellation energy, and you're paying for the service contract as part of your utilities you use these people. Our AC went out and we called them. They came out quickly the next morning, but proceeded to tell us that they could not fix it and we needed a new system. They said the condenser had an oil leak and the coil was leaking too. They removed all the filters to our home and just left them in the living room, didn't replace them. "We don't replace the filters" they say, but they happily remove them and just leave them in your home. They then told us it would cost us 6K to fix the system or they could call the sales person to quote us for a new system. The sales person came out later and told us that our system used the old refrigerant (it didn't) and that a new system would be 13K dollars but only 10K with discounts since we were constellation customers with the service contract. They made it sound like we were getting a good deal. We decided to call another company and get a second opinion. The first company we called came out, checked all the same stuff, told us there wasn't a leak in the condenser and the coil is leaking. We were told we didn't have to replace our system at all. Constellation home also stated if they repaired the system they would only warranty the parts for 1 year. The other company stated they warranty it for 5 years. The new company also quoted us for a new system, 6K, nearly half the price, and the system they quoted was a Lennox system which was more efficient. The system Constellation Home quoted us with was not more efficient. Constellation Home is highway robbery. They are overcharging by thousands of dollars. They try to make it sound like a good deal because they can get you 0 percent financing, but you'd be better off with a loan at 15 or even 20 percent from another company than going with constellation home charging you double for worse systems.
Bought a 2 TRANE HVAC units from Constellation Home. Initially they forgot to connect 1 of the main trunk lines without any ties/tape so it blew open within 24-48 hours. Now the dampener on the other side fell off because of a poor connection of the duct line at the unit. Technician came out and said i need to get someone else as this is not their problem, even though the dampener (at /duct was obviously disconnected from the old unit to the new unit. UPDATE: Service manager called and they sent out a technician this morning who fixed the dampener. Well Done!

My experience with Constellation Home is always a good experience.
So far so good. I lumped constellation home with my electric bill and I am happy that I did. I recently purchased a house with an older AC system and I knew I was going to have issues with it. Over Memorial Day weekend our fan motor died. Sadly no technicians were working over the holiday but early Tuesday morning someone was able to come out and fix the issue. Took about 2 hrs and our AC was on again. The labor and parts were covered under the insurance/electric plan I have. At the end of July we got an email from the electric company saying that our AC unit was not as efficient as before and they recommend we schedule service. I scheduled service for the following Monday. Luckily I did because two days later our AC died again. A technician was able to diagnose the issue quickly and confirmed we needed a new unit. We decided to replace the entire system and someone was able to come later that day to provide a quote. As long as the unit we selected was in stock they are able to come install the very next day. So luckily tomorrow I should have a brand new AC unit. Due to the insurance plan that we have we were able to save a good amount of money on the system. So far I have been very happy with constellation home and recommend them if your unit is older like ours is.

CALL 1800PLUMBER A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY My father called and scheduled an appointment. He is 72 years old with stage IV Cancer. His A/C had been out for 2 days and the temperature in his house was 86 degrees. He refused to leave his home. He called this company, against my wishes. They couldn't come out on that day, so they scheduled it for the next day. The service tech arrived. He was scared of his dog, who does not bite, but I understand why he would be intimidated. Again, my father is 72 years old. He went to put dog in the bedroom, but the tech refused to wait 5 minutes, telling my father that he had another appointment down the street but would be back. He never came back by the way. My father, a disabled veteran, begged this pathetic excuse for a human being not to leave, he was dripping in sweat and the temp in his home was now 90 degrees and climbing, but he left anyway. When I called the company, and was told that they would try to reach the technician, but if they could not, it would be tomorrow. She was not mean and did say she understood, but if "Not My Problem" was a voice on the phone, this was her. When I called my company, 1800 Plumber, they were there in 1 hour, did the repairs and treated by father like he was spending his hard earned money, not like they were doing someone a favor by allowing them to pay for their services. I called this company back to ask for the corporate number, but is not one because it is local. The second lady was a lot nicer and assured me that the matter would be addressed. All I have to say is save yourself the frustration and call 1 800 Plumber

Worst customer service ever. Just tried to call to help them out and was cursed out by an employee. No reason for her to be upset with me. I would never do business with them ever.
Not so well.
After paying the service fee of $234, they left the motherboard in the furnace disconnected on purpose just because I told them I could not pay the $1,000 for the heater repair that I called them for. Now I am stuck with no AC as well. This is very unprofessional. Just because someone chooses not to go with your service, you should not leave a bigger mess for them to clean. I am very disappointed. I paid them the service fee of $234 and they still left without connecting my furnace the right way. Now I don't have AC on this warm Houston day. My plan was to call them to fix my heater on my next pay day but I definitely won't call them back now.
I have a house built in the 1930's and contacted Constellation for my a/c needs. At the time I only window a/c units, no duct work or anything. I needed a COMPLETE new system from the ground up. There sales Rep Perry came to my home and was able to provide a detailed quote with great financing options during his visit. Within a couple of days my older home had a complete new central heat and a/c system. The project Mgr Ray Fleming, his crew and everyone who had a hand at my project were very professional, wore masks and insured the job was done right. The owner of Constellation even stopped by to insure the job was being done correctly. I'm very happy to have decided to go with Constellation. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in my project!
Definitely need to improve their sale service. first it took them nearly 20 min to pick up the phone than.... We was looking for complete replacement of AC system and this company was our first choice, called on the phone we got from their ad and ask that we need a quote, lady on the phone sounds really unprofessional and seems that she didn’t know what she’s doing, tell that someone going to call us back in day or two to schedule an appointment, but almost a month later, we never get any phone call 😅, oh well our 12k goes to another company.
Nick is one of the best AC technicians out there. When my "other" company told me that I needed to replace my entire outdoor unit for 3500$, Nick came out and found the actual problem with the indoor unit and fixed it for 350 bucks. Just upgraded my Home plan to cover both my units - I would definitely get Constellation as their technicians are the best. Mike Plummer - their manager - is also awesome. Only complaint i have is that their phone lines are super busy and sometimes it is very difficult to get through. I guess it is expected in Summer and with the COVID situation. And just FYI - no warranty company covers it if you need to replace Evaporator Coil, Compressor or Condenser.
Great customer service
Not what I expected, over 2 yrs. Of monthly pay was wasted. When my home A/C broke down it wasn't covered. Check what they cover before you commit to the monthly fee.
Lowed my bill by about $300 a month for real. I couldn't be happier right now. So glad the young girl showed up at my door and convinced me to change companies. I had Direct Energy with a bill of about $700 a month my first bill at Constellation is $455. Love saving money.
This place has terrible customer service and constellation energy is a rip off. I have one of their electric plans that covers if anything goes wrong with my air conditioner and heating system. Its advertised as 100 % covered and that's what constellation energy sold me on when I bought the plan. Well something went wrong with my A/C unit and I was told that the part was not covered! I called Constellation Energy, who told me to call Constellation Home to get the terms and conditions of the plans. No one can tell me what is covered and not covered. I even talked to a Manager Ray, who said he would email them to me and has not. Meanwhile, I am stuck with a $450 bill and paying a higher electric bill for an A/C protection plan that doesn't really cover. Update: I did receive the packet of information. It unfortunate that I had to write a review (which I would not change). In order for you to send me what I has asked for. All of your employees should have access to this information and be able to send it to any customer.

Called for an estimate, was quoted 10800 for a 16 seer 4ton unit complete system change out. This company is established up north but new to Houston. Got the same system installed for 7400, there are discounts out there, people be aware do your research.
