23 May 2022: This entire team, the scheduler and those who arrive to service my home's equipment, is nothing short of fantastic. Everyone at this company is a pleasure to communicate with. They always promptly schedule my service appointments and communicate with me the day of to ensure expectations regarding timing are set. I always have the sense that they are looking out for me by providing feedback, offering suggestions, making any ask that I have a reality (i.e. finding an electrician to help install a new steam humidifier) and not pushing anything on me. Another company tempted me away from them as part of a membership package and failed miserably (i.e. 2.5+ months of waiting for an appointment, a prior day appointment cancellation by them and at least another month wait for the next available date). Promptly at 8 am this morning I called CARES to schedule my HVAC inspection. It was such a pleasure to speak to the staffing lady who so graciously offered me an appointment of TODAY. Wow! Such a treat! The team showed up a little earlier than planned with a pre-notification and quickly and efficiently made short work of my inspection. To top it off, their rates have not changed in 3+ years and was approximately 40% less than the other company's preferred membership rate. There is tremendous peace of mind with this company - timely scheduling, prompt appointment arrivals, friendly and efficient team members and seamless invoicing. Could not be happier to be a Client of CARES once again. 21 Nov 2018: Simply put, WOW! I called the afternoon of Friday, Nov 16th after a no-show by another company. The kind woman who picked up the phone was very patient and understanding, especially given how frustrated I was. She set me up with service for the NEXT DAY, Saturday. My fuse was broken on my AC unit outside and they came and replaced it quick and easy. I had figured it was something simple with the error code I was getting with was 74 no 230v to compressor. I called several other AC repair places and it seemed like they wanted to come in and rip me off and do a bunch of things that weren't necessary, even after I told them the code they ignored me and told me what they thought a really expensive problem was. But with Connor Air, Both the technician on phone and the one who came out to site were very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Feels like they do things the right way. They explained that the fuse was tripped and that I need to clean the outside of the thing with coil cleaner. Use these guys if you dont want to get raked.

Connor Air Repair Express Services "C.A.R.E.S". did an excellent jump cleaning, and first repairing our dryer vent. We had an undiscovered break in the vent their technician quickly identified, stated and solution, and came back to fix with the right equipment the next day. We were only charged once, they showed us the fix, and did everything but the drywall repair. An excellent time for an annoying problem.

CARES was great! They were on time, professional, and had our house working again. We didn't know we had a clog in our water heater, but as soon as they serviced it, the water was fantastic! I highly recommend. We had a new return vent and an extra vent added to a poorly ventilated room, and they were priced very well and able to do the job quickly. We will be using them from now on.

It's always such a rewarding feeling finding reliable, quality, honest people working in your home. I'm so thankful that I was referred to CARES aka Connor Air. Especially Gene and Loc. Gene knows what he's talking about and cares about providing honest and practical advice to the customer. He is always eager to teach and I learned so much about my HVAC system from his initial diagnosis visit. From there, he brought Loc with him, and they were able to make the necessary repairs to my vents/ducts to give us reliable heat to our home. The work was completed effectively and Gene and Loc took the time to show us the changes, and they were noticeable. I would recommend CARES, Gene, and Loc to my friends and family for all your HVAC needs.

BEWARE of this company when they say you NEED to replace your HVAC system. This is the full review and followup to the Connor Air's comments: We have called Connor Air to come out to look at why our AC unit is not working. The technician identified himself as the master technician and his wealth of knowledge in HVAC systems. He spent several hours with the outdoor AC unit with no fix, which is not a good sign for home owners. We've asked the technician to replace the capacitor (which is a common fix) . He hesitated but eventually replaced the capacitor and the AC unit started immediately. He then quickly pull the power to the AC unit removed his capacitor and lied to us that its not the capacitor issue, it's the compressor. He told us that we would need to either replace the compressor ($2500) if he can locate one during COVID-19 or replace the entire house AC unit and quoted us $5800 with a very basic unit that's less desirable than what we have now. He left with his working capacitor and leaving our outdoor unit pulled apart, wires were disconnected. We were told either new unit or replacement compressor could take upto 2 weeks to get all the parts. We booked a hotel after hearing that. We proceed to call for a second opinion from a different HVAC company, the technician was able to come out in very short notice and found out that the previous technician had pulled the system apart to make it difficult to repair. The technician identified the the starter capacitor was leaking (you can easily see it) proceed to replace it and the AC unit started to work. Long story short, the Connor Air Repair Express Service technician saw that we have young kids at home in the midst of summer heat and is desperate to get the AC fixed. He took advantage of the situation, instead of fix an small part that went bad, they wanted to replace the whole system with a big price tag. Our A/C went out overnight in the middle of a heatwave. CARES had a technician at our home within a few hours, and he quickly diagnosed the problem and told us we needed to replace the system. Once we gave the go ahead, CARES went above and beyond to get our new system installed. The technician immediately went to several stores to make sure a replacement system could be installed as soon as possible. The install team worked through a major thunderstorm/torrential downpour to get the system operational in a single day. I cannot recommend them enough.

While Eric was very nice and informative this is a scam. It’s been 2 days and they haven’t even looked for the part. Two days to give an estimate. Add another day or 2 and they maybe can find a part. THEN at sometime in the future wii schedule an appt. I was able to locate a part in one phone call locally. Clearly they aren’t concerned with the customer only charging you

Didn’t have a great experience with this company despite their glowing yelp reviews and google reviews. This is my first review so bare with me. Our older AC unit upstairs was really working this summer in mid July, we struggled to get the temperature below 81 upstairs. I decided to have it looked at based on the reviews I chose Connor. To keep everything short, They were quick to respond and they’re tech are friendly but do not stand behind their work, within few days after the repair it began to not cool again. When the the technician was on site I asked if he looked at the upstairs system, he told me it was not needed. They charged me a full price for a half diagnosis and did not want to return unless another diagnosis was paid. They do offer a yelp discount for half off diagnosis but it’s a scam to provide a half service. I do not recommend them.

My AC broke down on a Friday. I called them and they came that day to check out the system, which was old and problematic, so I wasn't surprised when I was told it was done. I decided to replace the entire system, not just the AC. They got it working enough to cool the house until Tuesday, which is when they were scheduled to install the new unit. They arrived on time on Tuesday and completed the job two hours earlier than expected with absolutely no damage to my house - inside or out. I can't say enough good things about this experience. The guys were helpful and patient, answering all questions I asked. Great job!

I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. I contacted Connor Air Repair Express via their online form last night. Basically, I was a cold call, reaching out based on positive online reviews. My air conditioning hadn't been holding a decent temperature after a different company had worked on it. They fit me in the next day and then fixed my AC problem quickly. Gene, my technician, walked me through the system as he inspected, offering honest feedback / assessment of my situation. When all was said and done, he saved me a significant amount of money for needless replacements and repairs. I am so happy I called Connor Air Repair for a second opinion. I want to thank Gene. I learned a lot in the few minutes he was at my home, and after recent appointments with other companies, I feel it's important to highlight his level of respect. He didn't talk over me, nor did he speak in a condescending tone. He never assumed what the problem was. I didn't realize this was important to say in a review. But after the last few weeks of other companies, I think it's important to note. TL;DR: The level of customer service provided -- along with their very reasonable and upfront service fees-- set Connor Air Repair Express apart. They will have my future business.

I came across this company last year when my air condition suddenly stopped working Mr. Tommy came to my home and I simply asked him to be honest with me and let me know what the problem is after looking at my unit he told me what exactly needed to be done also he did let me know that the unit is old and this problem will come back again to make the long story short couple days ago same thing happened again so we decided to change the hole unit.Tommy and his coworkers came in very very professional Honest and spend 6 hours to replace the hole unit they are truly great i would highly recommend this company and Tommy great job guys.

Absolutely the best customer service ever. Calling and scheduling an appointment was so easy. The person answering the phone was so knowledgeable and helpful considering I had no prior knowledge about my ac unit. They took the time to show me what was wrong and explained to me my best options price wise. Everything was done with ease. The best part? They were actually able to get someone out to my house on the same day I made the call and get my problem fixed. Talk about great customer service. Prices for services were very reasonable compared to the other companies I had called for an estimate. Their technicians arrived on time and were so polite and friendly. I called Tommy to notify him that our house was getting warm again, and it was only the beginning of Spring. He came over to do the Spring inspection, and told me I had a leaking coil, and also gave me a recommendation on redoing our ductwork due to a previous bad design which seriously constricted the airflow. He gave me three different quotes, ranging from just changing the coil, to cold and ductwork, to coil, ductwork/new compressor/new humidifier. I then contacted several companies to come in and give me additional quotes, and Connor was definitely not just better in equipment pricing, but in the extended service options. Install day came, and Tommy, Ryan, and Sam went to work, and they did an absolutely great job. They took apart the old system, and redid a lot of ductwork, changed out the compressor, and installed the humidifier and UV lamp. The job took all day, but they were very careful with how they worked both inside and outside the house. They finished after 9PM, and always very polite, and even gave me a demo on the different things about the unit. I am a very satisfied customer, and I will continue to use CARES for all my HVAC needs.
