Few weeks ago, I rated this company 5 but have to lower it to 2. The first time that I used this company, the service performed by Robert was great actually one of the best I have ever had. The 2nd time, that I wanted to use their service for another repair on another AC unit via my home warranty policy, , I had to call them several times and leave message, as well as sending email. No response what so ever. Finally, in my last call to them, after 48 hours, I was told that the service could be scheduled in the following Friday, which means from the time of placing service call to the possible schedule date it would take 11 days. They could have a little respect for their customer to inform about such long delay. As I said, the service is great but they need to work on their scheduling and responding. If you pick this company, you may need to be patient waiting for the response

If your home warranty company assign them as your service vendor, IMMEDIATELY ask for another vendor. I never had such a bad experience. They were assigned to fix my air conditioning unit by my home warranty company. They never called to give me an appointment. I called them at least 10-15 times, no body picked up; more so their voicemail was full so one can't even leave a message. I tried 2 days to get in touch with them but was unsuccessful. I had to then call back my home warranty company to ask for another vendor. I was able to get service appointment from the new vendor in matter of minutes.
I am trying to reach your number for a service call which Fidelity Home Warranty services should have sent your way. I keep getting your mail box which is full. Can you contact me immediately?
Robert showed up with the unit at a fair price and remover the old unit and put in a new unit 2 years ago and still running very well , they are now my HVAC # 1 call , Thank you
Trust me.... hire Community Hearing and Air for all of your HVAC needs! They are family owned, reliable, and most of all, they are HONEST! We have used them for the past couple of years for tune ups on our 12 year old systems. Today we had them replace our entire downstairs system and the install was top notch and clean! Their price was excellent and their warranty is superb. Our new unit is on the left! 😊

Kathy and Edward are absolutely excellent and honest. I called a local ac company that literally tried to price gouge us...one call to these guys thru Fidelity home warranty and they were a Godsend. I know it may seem like a robot wrote this, but no, this is the gods honest truth. Great business.
If I could leave 6, 7, 9, hell, 11 stars I would! Robert and Kathy are awesome! They have helped us for 10 years and have saved us from major home expense. When we've had an emergency, they jumped us to the top of their list. They are very caring for their customers and transparent. Thanks guys for being so awesome!
One of our a/c units went out last week and our upstairs area (where my 3 children ages 1, 2 & 5 sleep) stopped cooling below 85 degrees. I submitted a service request through my home warranty company on Thursday 7/19 which was assigned to Community. I was told that someone would contact me within 2 business days. Monday morning 7/23 , I received a follow up email from the warranty company stating I should have heard from someone by then and if I hadn’t to call them directly. So I did. At that time, I spoke with Kathy and she said earliest time available was Thursday 7/26. Since we have air downstairs, I understand our situation is not considered an emergency, so I was fine with that appointment time. The arrival window I was given was between 8 & 10 AM, but was told that the technician would call to confirm when he was on his way. On Thursday (yesterday) morning, I went to work and my husband stayed home with the kids and to wait for the technician. Around 9, we had not heard from anyone yet so he left to run the kids to daycare as the house was starting to heat up and I thought someone was going to call me when they were on their way. Anyway, I get pulled into a meeting and I miss ONE call at 9:24 with a voicemail from Kathy stating that the technician was at my house and since I was not there, I would have to reschedule. No one ever called me to say they were on their way. I had not other missed calls or voicemails. They did not offer to come back anytime that day because they were simply too busy. Kathy was very hateful and not at all apologetic. Very bad business practices and customer service. I called the home warranty company and asked that my request be assigned to someone else. It was and I received a call from that company within 20 minutes to schedule an appointment.
Had home warranty contract with them, lady tells me that it was not emergency and refused to set appointment and hung up on me
Extremely professional, prompt, honest and trustworthy!! Our system went out in 105 degree heat and they were on our doorstep in less than 24 hours. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Community!!!!
I wasn't able to have them come out to look at my AC unit because they no longer service my area, but the women I spoke with was very helpful! I am a new homeowner and she spoke with me for a while and gave me some helpful advice for things I could do to help my situation. Great customer service!
THE RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY PROVES MY POINT EXACTLY. HOME WARRANTY DIDN'T COVER ANY OF MY REPAIRS (OK FINE-BUT EXPECTED) SO I WANTED TO PAY OUT OF MY OWN POCKET TO HAVE COMMUNITY HEATING&AIR FIX MY DANGEROUS HEATER AND THEY WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A QUOTE. THE RESPONSE SPELLS OUT THAT THEY ONLY WANTED TO DO AN INSPECTION AND NOT FIX ANYTHING. READ THEIR RESPONSE - I COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT ANY BETTER MYSELF Community Heating & Cooling is NOT a legitimate repair company based on my experience today. If you have a Heating or cooling problem do NOT call Community Heating and Cooling, call someone else. It was soooo weird, it was like they didn’t even acknowledge that their job was to repair anything. They just documented things without any quote for fixing my problem. My home warranty company sent them out to address a furnace that was going on and shutting off intermittently. Obviously I needed this fixed whether or not the warranty company paid for it. The guy from Community acted like he was a city code inspector rather than a repairman… sooooo weird. He looked at everything in my attic (roof, water heater venting, furnace) and took pictures and wrote a report of everything that he thought was "not up to code" or "possibly unsafe" or "installed poorly". After his visit I still no idea what specifically is broken or how much it will cost to fix it. An example of why he’s not a repairman: He documented with pictures and on his report that “a paper towel had been unsafely stuffed” around a tube in my furnace. He did NOT EVEN REMOVE THE PAPER TOWEL! Even though it was too close to the flame. I asked him why he didn’t just pull the paper towel out and he said it was “unsafe”. When I called the office to complain about the entire visit I brought up the paper towel as an example. Kathy said he couldn’t possibly have removed that paper towel because of liability. Today I had a technician service my furnace which had a burned controller board. He not only changed it for a better model/type but also cleaned the flame sensor and replaced the flame igniter. Highly recommend them.
If I could give this company a 0 or F, I would. They do not deserve the 1 star. I contacted this company on 6/24 was scheduled at that time for 7/1 from 9-12. I received a text message stating the time needed to change from 9-12 to 1-4 pm because someone else's services was more important than mine. I advised that I already had a work apt at 1:30 and if they could make me their last apt that would be great. They said they could not do that it is based on the technicians schedule. I said fine, she said the next available would be 7/5. She called me again on 7/1 to confirm they technician would be arriving at 2:30pm. I again told her at that time I was not home and would not be there. She told me that Tuesday morning from 9-12 was the best they could do. Today is 7/5 I took another 1/2 day off of work and guess what. No one is here and they are saying they never talked to me to confirm. Kathy even went as far as to send me a text message screen shot of our conversation that ended. However she fails to even acknowledge we spoke via phone after the text messages stopped. I called her to remind her that we spoke at 2:04 on 7/1 via phone and now she will not answer my calls or text messages. I am not sure what type of business they are running, but I will not allow them to work on anything in my home because they are either dishonest or have poor organization skills.
Have used Community Heat & Air for over 15 years. They are the best, very professional, very detailed, They are 10 stars in my book!!! They have put in both my heating and AC units in my house, I have recommended them to many people and everyone has continued to use them for years...... They are family owned and with that comes trust and comfort knowing that they know my unit, and service(s) needed or has been previously done, Along with the same employee(s) coming each time......they are great company and I would recommend them to anyone!
