What misery it is to wake up on a July night and the air conditioning is not working! I sent an email requesting service and had a response at 7:25 am! The friendly, professional and very knowledgeable technician John Kelly was her by noon. He quickly determined my problems and efficiently installed the new parts in no time. Even though this was a costly repair I would give my experience 10 stars! So glad to know you all are there if I need you. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Comfort Monster. We needed an HVAC repair over the weekend before 4th of July. I called several other companies who said it would be a week before they could come out. But they arranged to come early Monday morning. Curtis, the technician, came on time, explained everything that he found, and had everything fixed and working in short order. He was a true professional. Would recommend for anyone in a similar spot!

I work from home, and not once through the entire installation was my work day interrupted. This might be long, but I highly recommend you read it. My name is Ken, and we live in Durham near Southpoint Mall, and I have an old 2008 ICP-Comfortmaker PGF330080K00A2 model packaged HVAC system, a big old grey-tank I call it, that I have had heat-issues with over the last several years. My previous self-employed service guy retired this year in 2022, and when we had the unseasonal well below freezing temperatures, the heat stopped working. It would start for a short while, then turn-off the gas but keep blowing cold air into the house, and I had two separate HVAC companies come to “try” and repair it -All American and ARC-. Neither could, nor would, and they clearly had no idea about this unit (I’m a Telecom Engineer), and they declared the system unrepairable, wanted to condemn the machine as “un-safe”, and tried to sell me a $7000 replacement… which I declined. My wife was sick on the couch, and we were left throughout the Christmas week at the below freezing temperatures with no heat at all, save 5 electric space heaters. Those other companies knew it, and opted to try and force the sale. This is where Comfort Monster comes in. I’m technical, and I had been researching the symptoms and etc… on the HVAC Talk Forum, and a woman-customer there had written a detailed in-depth negative review of ARC with the same problem and lack-of-service that I had, and then proceeded to highly and glowingly recommend Comfort Monster. I decided, why not give them a try, I had nothing to lose... and boy am I glad I did! Ok, first, Comfort Monster got me booked for the next day, and then proceeded to keep me up-to-date via emails and text messages including while my service tech was en-route - I was impressed! Next, when my serice guy got here, Curtis, he listened to my history and problem description and said, I think I know what this is… went straight to the flame sensor, cleaned it, and within 30 or less from the moment he got out of his van we had heat in the house! My wife and I scheduled a technician to come out to our home between 2pm - 5pm. We were hopeful considering that the company had good reviews. However, 5pm came and went with the company/technician never calling, texting, or notifying us. A complete no show from this company and it’s very disappointing. We will not be using them or recommending moving forward.

These guys replaced all of my ducts in my crawlspace. It was a 2-day job on cold days so they provided me with 2 great space heaters (the oil-filled radiator types) to help with my home heating while work was being done. The crew working on the job was very professional and experienced. They did not try to rush the job and focused on quality/doing things right. I would hire them again.
