What misery it is to wake up on a July night and the air conditioning is not working! I sent an email requesting service and had a response at 7:25 am! The friendly, professional and very knowledgeable technician John Kelly was her by noon. He quickly determined my problems and efficiently installed the new parts in no time. Even though this was a costly repair I would give my experience 10 stars! So glad to know you all are there if I need you. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend Comfort Monster. We needed an HVAC repair over the weekend before 4th of July. I called several other companies who said it would be a week before they could come out. But they arranged to come early Monday morning. Curtis, the technician, came on time, explained everything that he found, and had everything fixed and working in short order. He was a true professional. Would recommend for anyone in a similar spot!
Comfort Monster was very responsive. I was able to schedule immediately and the tech arrived on time. I had issues with both the indoor and outdoor components and they were both fixed in no time! I will definitely be using Comfort Monster if I need anything else HVAC-related in the future. Give them a call!

Robert and Grady came out today from Comfort Monster and fixed my AC system. Completely replaced my entire unit. I work from home, and not once through the entire installation was my work day interrupted. They provided excellent service, and afterwards brought up to speed on everything I need to know about operating my new unit. Customer service was excellent.
Just had another service call. Ennis Dunn is my technician and as always, he does a thorough check of our HVAC system. He is always courteous, always thorough. I look forward to having Ennis (and Comfort Monster) take care of my unit for the months and years ahead.

Kevin the technician that came to our home did a very thorough job during his maintenance visit. The estimator, Tracy, who gave us estimates on upgrading our HVAC system has very helpful in pointing out areas where we could improve the efficiency of our system and ways we could save on upgrades. This might be long, but I highly recommend you read it. My name is Ken, and we live in Durham near Southpoint Mall, and I have an old 2008 ICP-Comfortmaker PGF330080K00A2 model packaged HVAC system, a big old grey-tank I call it, that I have had heat-issues with over the last several years. My previous self-employed service guy retired this year in 2022, and when we had the unseasonal well below freezing temperatures, the heat stopped working. It would start for a short while, then turn-off the gas but keep blowing cold air into the house, and I had two separate HVAC companies come to “try” and repair it -All American and ARC-. Neither could, nor would, and they clearly had no idea about this unit (I’m a Telecom Engineer), and they declared the system unrepairable, wanted to condemn the machine as “un-safe”, and tried to sell me a $7000 replacement… which I declined. My wife was sick on the couch, and we were left throughout the Christmas week at the below freezing temperatures with no heat at all, save 5 electric space heaters. Those other companies knew it, and opted to try and force the sale. This is where Comfort Monster comes in. I’m technical, and I had been researching the symptoms and etc… on the HVAC Talk Forum, and a woman-customer there had written a detailed in-depth negative review of ARC with the same problem and lack-of-service that I had, and then proceeded to highly and glowingly recommend Comfort Monster. I decided, why not give them a try, I had nothing to lose... and boy am I glad I did! Ok, first, Comfort Monster got me booked for the next day, and then proceeded to keep me up-to-date via emails and text messages including while my service tech was en-route - I was impressed! Next, when my serice guy got here, Curtis, he listened to my history and problem description and said, I think I know what this is… went straight to the flame sensor, cleaned it, and within 30 or less from the moment he got out of his van we had heat in the house! I highly recommend this company! Their service was prompt, professional, and courteous. I felt like they actually cared about me and my situation! I have recommended them to all my realtor friends and others.

My wife and I scheduled a technician to come out to our home between 2pm - 5pm. We were hopeful considering that the company had good reviews. However, 5pm came and went with the company/technician never calling, texting, or notifying us. A complete no show from this company and it’s very disappointing. We will not be using them or recommending moving forward.
Comfort Monster sent me a text with an image of my technician ahead of my appointment, so that I could easily identify him. The whole experience made me feel safe and comfortable! I highly recommend this company, they're doing things right!
I’ve been using Comfort Monster for a few years now and have found them to be very professional and reliable as a company. Their technicians are well trained and they do a great job. We decided to replace our >20 year-old system and we are so glad that we chose Comfort Monster. Not just they provided a very competitive price, and they also did an amazing job to install new HVAC for us on cold winter days right before the holiday. They are very professional and also helpful and friendly. They even give my baby a little purple monster. Highly recommend!!
This company was great to deal with. Very professional staff. They came on time and cleaned up before they left. Also, I got 3 quotes for the same trane unit and they were over $3,000 cheaper for the same product. Alot of their competitors prices were ridiculous. I will recommend them going forward.
We were very pleased with our experience. The technician was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The price was fair and he gave me a good explanation about the questions I had. Will call them next time.
These guys replaced all of my ducts in my crawlspace. It was a 2-day job on cold days so they provided me with 2 great space heaters (the oil-filled radiator types) to help with my home heating while work was being done. The crew working on the job was very professional and experienced. They did not try to rush the job and focused on quality/doing things right. I would hire them again.
