We called because our heater went out. They sent Jim out and he tested one item, told us that it would be $1,000 to fix. We looked for the item to which he referred online, and found it for less than $300 everywhere we looked. We asked if we bought the part, if he could just replace. He said he could do the work for $300. That's a minimum of a $400 markup for parts and labor! And he only tested the one item. We had another person come for a second opinion that actually tore the entire machine apart to find the issue and tested multiple areas. I would DEFINITELY recommend getting a second opinion if you are using Comfort Maintenance as they certainly appeared to be taking advantage of us in our time of need.
David was so kind and the only warranty approved company who would come take a look at our broken ac unit on the weekend.
