Our furnace went out on January 19th. We called the company and Mark answered the phone. He came out that same day and checked out our furnace. Needless to say, it didn't take him long to tell us that we needed a new furnace. Fortunately for us Mark was able to procure a new furnace for us and came out the next day and installed it. Talk about promptness and efficiency! Mark is very prompt and efficient and does excellent work. We are very satisfied with the end result. Our gas furnace had been acting up for a couple of months at the beginning of fall/winter. Being a 'YouTube' hero, I tried a few things to remedy what might be the problem, but 2 days before Christmas, the furnace decided it was not going to stay on. On a referral from another company, I called Mark with Columbia that night. He agreed to come out on Christmas Eve and take a look at the furnace. He cleaned and serviced what he could, took the time to talk me through some basic maintenance and what the problem may be. He had extensive knowledge of our brand of furnace and said upfront that this brand could be finicky. We had heat over the Christmas holiday and then left out of town for a week. With our Nest thermostat, we could see that the furnace held the house temp for a few days, but then was gradually getting colder. A few days before New Years, I reached out to Mark again. He ordered replacement parts and met us right after we returned home on a Friday evening. It took a bit more trouble-shooting, including two trips to install a new board and a new gas valve, but Mark wanted to get it repaired for us. He gave us a great deal on the parts/labor and was incredible with his response and willingness to fit us into his schedule. The furnace is running great and just in time for a cold, snowy week ahead. When it comes time for annual maintenance, a new furnace down the road or a possible AC unit, we will be calling Mark. I would highly recommend Columbia Heating & Air for any HVAC needs. Thank you, Mark! 👍😎
A few weeks ago, when weather got cool, I turned up the thermostat. I got intermittent heat, then no heat. I called Columbia & talked to Mark Bjorkquist. Mark came to my home later that same afternoon. He immediately noticed a worn spot on a small rubber tube. Mark commented that we should see an LED blink red 3 times. — & that would verify that the tube was an issue. It happened exactly as Mark predicted. Mark then checked other components to ensure I wouldn’t have further problems. Mark is knowledgeable & efficient. NOW THIS IS the part that ‘blew-me-away’: I expected to pay a standard service fee. Mark’s ‘nuber’ was much much less. I am retired & on a fixed-income. What Mark did was wonderful!! I would give Columbia Heating & AC a zillion stars, if I could. God bless you, Mark!!!

We had a very good Furnace repair experience with Columbia. Our main heater went out this weekend and we had a technician come out to fix the issue. The service was quick, efficient and they didn't charge us an arm and a leg. We are long term customers and we are always happy with their service.
Mark walked us through troubleshooting some issues on a 20+ year old furnace over the phone on a couple of occasions, thus eliminating a service calls. Eventually, the furnace needed to be replaced. Mark explained what the issue was and the options and costs. Mark provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Mark at Columbia Heating & Air.
