We have used Cold Spell’s services several times, but this week Eric went above and beyond. He had my elderly parents’ new a/c installed so quickly! He dealt with the permitting and HOA which usually hold things up. We are so grateful for Eric and his team. He is super responsive and his work is top-notch. This is a company you can trust!
Great Service! Eric responded to my message within 30mins and his father Jorge was able to pass by my house the same afternoon. He explained what was wrong with my AC unit and was able to fix it quickly. Will definitely be using their services again!

Hands down, the best HVAC service experience we have ever had!! We recently relocated here to south Florida from Vail Colorado, and are not familiar with the different way our system works in this climate. So, when our system seemed to just quit on us, we immediately found ourselves miserable and somewhat desperate. It had been 2 1/2 days before Eric was recommended to us by our neighbor. We called Eric at around 8am and he was in our house ready and working by 11am the vary same day! Eric was patient and informative as he explained all the steps and the whys as I watched so that if there is ever a next time I will know what the issue is and possibly take some action myself if needed. He also thoroughly explained how we can preform regular maintenance ourselves, to extend the time between needed professional system service. Eric was in and out in under an hour and a half! He was polite, professional, honest, considerate, fairly priced, and most importantly, his response time was amazing! We will never call anyone else again! THE BEST RECOMMENDATION EVER!!! There’s something to be said about a family business and that’s honest, reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable service. I received all this and more today from Eric and his father who helped me fix a disaster I had that was caused by another AC company. For years I used another corporate run company for my AC service needs. I paid a premium each year for them to maintain and service my unit and I trusted that they were doing just that. Well I quickly found out they were ripping me off when I went to change my filter and discovered 2 inches of water on the floor from a backed up unit that hadn’t been properly serviced in years. I immediately got Eric’s number from a friend who said this is the guy to call period. I called Eric and he came over right away and diagnosed the problem. Within no time he repaired my unit and added a second drain pan and overflow sensor so that this would never happen again. When he came today with his father I learned where Eric’s reliability, attention to detail and professionalism came from. The two quickly completed the work and left the work area cleaner then when they started. I can’t say enough about the two and their company. Bottom line is if you want quality service done right then this is the only call you need to make. Thanks again to you both Eric!
I finally found an amazing A/C guy!!! Unfortunately I had to purchase a new A/C unit and they made it so affordable. I had my new unit super quick. They went above and beyond to help my family. I can’t say enough about the excellent workmanship and customer service that Eric provided us by relocating the A/C equipment. Also working on small issue we had with our unit. We had the pleasure of recommending his company to our friends that need it his service and they were so pleased with his work and kindness. Eric is very reliable, topnotch. I was recommended to Cold Spell by a friend and I will never use no-one else for my AC issues. I had two AC units in the house that started to give me trouble, like most people I was skeptical of who to call, I wanted an honest opinion of what was happening to the AC, Eric came in he properly and quickly diagnosed the issue, I thought it was going to be super expensive but the quote he gave me was unbelievable very cheap for the repairs he did. Ever since I haven’t had any other issues. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
I can't say enough about this company. The service, responsiveness, quality work and competitive prices are just a few of the advantages of working with Eric. I have had hired Eric for many different services and all have been performed beyond my expectations. I had an issue with an old AC unit and had Eric and another AC company look at it. The other company told me that the unit had to be replaced and that was my only option but Eric was able to clean it out, make it work and give us a couple more years on the unit. He's also done several maintenance calls for me and is extremely responsive, tries to help me trouble shoot and aways finds a way to squeeze me in and get the job done so I’m not without ac. He’s honest and trustworthy, which is a huge relief because I never have to worry about being taken advantage of. He has done work for several of my family members as well and everyone has the same experience with Eric. He is consistent and knowledgeable. Grateful to have found this AC company.
ColdSpell was a great referral. Had issues with my outside unit on Monday, gave Eric a call, he responded ASAP! Looked at my unit, and gave me the unfortunate news that I needed to replace it. Eric provided a quote the next morning and started install that afternoon. Eric did not leave until the job was done! Made sure my family was comfortable and has checked up on me the day after. I have had Erick help me with previous ac issues from prior homes and he has always been professional, hardworking, and fair. Today he installed a new ac duct system since mine was fairly outdated. He explained the whole process thoroughly prior and during the replacement. It is very hard to find reliable people in these situations but Erick was top notch. I would recommend him and his company any day.
Eric is always transparent about what he’s doing and actually shows you issues and how he is going to fix them. Always show up same day or latest next day will always use/recommend.

By far the best AC company I’ve ever used. Eric was professional and very caring. They came within the week and fixed everything within a few hours on a project that usually takes a lot longer . Highly recommended
