Josh was not only quick to respond, he was professional. Very knowledgeable and honest. Didn’t just try and up sell me. Gave me short term and long term fixes. Along with prices for both. Highly recommend.
I have requested in the past 4 different HVAC contractors for a service call during seasonal service needs. I use to think a contractor had to be certified in a specific brand . I was not correct. They are certified to work on any HVAC brand experience and honesty is what you should consider . Every HVAC company that came out tried to present selling me a new unit. I contacted Coastal Comfort Systems LLC to get an additional compressor quote. The owner Tom explained that without checking my unit first to see if I needed a compressor. I could possibly spend un necessary money replacing the compressor when it could be something simply causing the compressor not to come on. Wow game changer ! I agreed as that made sense and scheduled an appointment to check the unit. Josh arrived and checked my unit . He came in to discuss what he discovered which was a start relay switch that needed replacing. He also determined my refrigerant was very low. He fixed the issue and the only regret that I have is that I did not find them sooner. I spent a lot of time with the other HVAC contractors that was basically wasted time and money for testing my unit and no effort to fix my unit. There was 1 contractor that wanted to replace the compressor but then again I was not given the option to fix what was causing the Compressor Not to come on. Josh was very professional and also gave good recommendations for the future regarding both units. Glad I found Coastal Comfort Systems HVAC contractor .One that I can trust and has the expertise to advise the right solution. I know this is a long review but considering how many other companies were only interested in selling a new unit I thought someone else might find the details helpful.

I was very dissatisfied with previous HVAC companies, called Coastal Comfort for a regular tune up and was very pleased! Josh showed up exactly when he said he would, I could tell he was very knowledgeable, and took his time cleaning and testing my 20+ year old system. Thanks for the pointers on how to keep it running even longer! They've earned a customer in the future for sure.
Great honest service! Very satisified! Tom has maintained my ac for several years. I keep thinking each season will be the last for the unit, but Tom works his magic and it keeps on running!!!
