I hired Classic Heating & Air to install all new heating and AC in my home as they were referred to me by friends. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. More often than not, when Matt said he would be there, he was a no show. I would call and text and he would send me to voicemail or not reply. When Matt did actually show up he would always be sure to tell me how busy he was, like being busy is a bad thing. This got to be very frustrating. Matt failed to install a drip tray under the furnace he installed and as a result I had a water leak in my ceiling which required work to repair. He did not take responsibility for it and I had to pay for the repair myself. I was finally at my wits end- after being told by Matt that he would be at my home to finish the install on a Thursday and again he failed to show. I called him and he said there was an issue with the unit but he would sort it out and call me by the end of the day. That did not happen and it was a full week of me calling and texting him until he finally responded, letting me know that I was not his only client. All I expected from Matt was that he show up when he said he would or have the decency to call and let me know, but that proved to be too much apparently. When I informed Matt I could no longer work with him and I was hiring another HVAC company, he never answered my phone call or text. I had paid him money up front and wasn’t sure if I still owed him or if he owed me money back as he never finished the job but of course, Matt has not replied to my requests. The new HVAC company had to fix what Matt failed to do- install the drip tray & install an AC unit -and showed me where Matt had installed different sizes of tubing daisy chained together when it should have been all the same size. He assumed this had been done as that was what he had around to use. I personally feel Matt doesn’t know how to properly run Classic Heating & Air and simply overbooks himself which ends up in unhappy
