CityLine was very responsive to my request for help and support on my A/C system when it stopped cooling. Both technicians, Travis and Alberto, that worked on troubleshooting and solving were very professional, knowledgeable, hard working and thorough. Alberto was fantastic throughout the customer experience and in resolving our problem.
I worked with this company for 3 days and the relationship ended up not working out and they never paid me a dime for my time or the hour drive I made coming up there. Poor professionalism on their part. Been in the hvac business for 10 years and have never experienced such an unprofessional environment. If you use their service beware of the technicians. They may do more harm then help.
I have been working with Cityline for almost a year through American Home Shield. My AC condenser and furnace finally gave up and this company quoted me with extremely competitive price and was thoroughly responsive and customer service is also amazing. Kudos!
Trey is AMAZING!!!! Best AC technician that I have ever encountered. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable! He is definitely the reason why I will call CityLine for all my AC needs!!!
Does not care about their customers. I had them come out and repair my furnace. Three days later it didn’t work and was getting very cold in my house. They told me they couldn’t help until Tuesday. I asked for a refund and was told someone would call me. It’s Three days later and no one has called me. They also gave me an estimate of $350 to fix the drain pan because it wasn’t installed correctly. They are the ones who installed it. 100% guarantee only applies if you have no problems. Terrible customer service. Terrible work done.
Not trustworthy at all!! I called them for the system tuneup offer. Heating was not working, technician said flame sensor was gone. He replaced it and the system did not start. He then said other senior technicians need to come in and check. The senior technician came in and said induced motor is gone and other things need to be replaced.gave me a quote of 1200$. I got another company to take a look and he fixed the issue in 10 mins. He said that flame sensor wiring was not done correctly. Neutral wire plugged into motor vs main etc. Basically switched wires and fixed it. No motor was gone. charged 1/10th of the quote!!
This company was called out to my home (via American Home Shield) for a furnace issue. The tech mentioned that I would need a new furnace and that my air conditioning unit would not be compatible with a new furnace and that I would have to change out the entire system. Rather than sending in the diagnosis in a timely manner, and including the part about the AC not being compatible with a new furnace, they tried to upsell me on purchasing a complete AC/Furnace package directly from them. When I called to verify what the tech has said about the systems not being compatible, I was told they'd call back after speaking with the tech, which they never did. Not to mention the tech disconnected the gas incorrectly. Oh, and with that new system, they would give an AHS discount plus $500 discount for writing a good review on AHS, stating that if you don't write a good review on American Home Shield, you would be charged the additional $500. Meanwhile, when they did give the quote to American Home Shield, they added in an extra $2200 for bringing the system up to code that I would be responsible for, even though they couldn't tell me what the items were. Guessing the F rating with the BBB is not for naught.
Cityline replaced our AC units and stayed late to make sure everything worked. Even came back the next morning and made sure everything was operating properly. Nice people to work with.
The people commenting about AHS problems must not run a business. They give you options and tell you exactly what the problem is. I did not feel pressured and I understand non covered fees. Because I have a feeling AHS pays them nothing to put it in. Plus why would you spend 2-3k on a old system that is not even the new freon ?? (spellcheck) ps Cody was very on top of things and so was the install crew
Wonderful experience with this company, can't thank them enough... They work with me and help me get my AC up and running again. I wound up needing a few extra parts which wasn't included in the original estimate. I was taken back that they didn't charge me for any of that...WOW I found that really nice of them, it was a lengthy repair. I was expecting them to charged me for labor at least, but they chose not too, it took them most of the day to get everything fitted and put back together... Thank you very much I'll definitely be returning if I should you need their services in the future.
Great A/C experience with Jason! Incredibly helpful, informative and felt like he had our best interest in mind as we decided what to do next
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This company is a complete and utter rip off. My usual HVAC company is swamped and I was referred to City Line Air Conditioning by someone. When the technician arrived at the home ( late ) he was a bit unkempt and unpleasant. The guy was at my home for 9 minutes and 43 seconds. During this very short period of time he supposedly deduced that my a/c unit not up to code and it needed $3000 in parts. Keep in mind my unit had been serviced 7 months prior. Upon calling the company I spoke with Amber and this young lady expressed to me that due to the war in the Ukraine that parts ( a $9 uv foam blanket ) are higher now. The uv blanket went from $9 to $237. After speaking with her, I spoke with the service manager Colt and he expressed to me that even though the parts are that cheap on line, they have to inflate the cost due to the war. There were various other parts ranging in price from $16 to $80 that (with them) totalled up to $2700. Doing my due diligence, I had another company come by and look over my HVAC system and the guy who was the owner I might ad, told me that it was only one part on his list that was needed. He then also explained to me that my system was up to code and there wasn't anything else wrong with the system. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Nothing but excellent and outstanding service from my first interaction to the completion of the repair. Amber in the office understood our dilemma and the urgency. We noticed some leaking and we just had new floors installed. She immediately rearranged some things and had a service guy come right out. Kanon looked at our AC and thermostat and knew immediately the problem. Not only did he fix the issue, but also gave me recommendations to keep it from happening again. True customer service!!! I have your company’s name for future reference, and will recommend you to anyone and everyone!!’
I was extremely pleased with the service that Richard Roach did on my A/C System. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Great job ! 👍
This company was very professional. They were able to come out and fix my AC problem in a timely manner. I recommend this company 100%. I will definitely call them first if the need arises in the future. Mrs. Robinson
Knowledgeable and professional. On time. Kanon did a wonderful job. Was referred by AHS. Would use them again.
City line air is a fantastic company. They go the extra mile and send techs out that know their business. I highly recommend you call City line if you want it done right the first time.
Jose at Cityline was able to find the problem for my heater. My unit is complex so technicians have trouble diagnosing it. Jose will be my go-to-man for future hvac issues.
Kanon from CityLine was very professional and knowledgeable. When I opened my front door to let him in he was kneeling next to the door and tightening up a loose screw. It is a quality individual who will see a need and meet it--just because he has the skills and abilities to help out. It didn't take much time or effort so no bill for that service. I really appreciate that and expect he approaches HVAC work the same way. Good value--maybe even additional value for your money. Thanks, Kanon!
I have American Home Warranty service. They called CityLine to do make repairs to my HVAC. Matt was sent out 2 days after the call, it was Christmas. Matt found the problem within a few minutes and told me it would take a few days to get repair parts as it had to be approved and handled by the Warranty Company. I asked if there was anyway to rush the service even to the point of my guarantee of payment. He said he did not know of any way to rush the Home Warranty co. Matt then started checking and was able to determine my unit was still under Factory Warranty (something i had not even considered). He made a call and left to get the repair parts and installed them within a reasonable time. Because of the personal professional service Matt furnished, the AC was working within a reasonable time frame. I can only hope my next problem will be handled this quick. Home warranty Companys are only good to get a service rep on site quickly, on non holidays, not to get a quick repair. They take forever to get anything approved. However it is nice to not be billed for repairs. Thanks to Matt and CityLine my AC is working for the New Year. The warranty co. Received a break and I got fast repair. The HVAC is not a luxury for a lot of people in Texas. Thanks again Matt.
