I called a service call for A/C system diagnosis ($100) because the Carrier AC unit had no cold air coming out and the condenser unit is spinning so the inside unit may have problems. The technician came over to check the Attic Furnace, according to what he said the turn-on high/mid/low and the ECM motor is not functioning then give me a quote for an OEM ECM Motor for $1,656 (Labor not included). I called for a second opinion with Carrier Authorized Dealer to check the unit and found out: 1. Condenser Capacitor is not performing well. 2. My unit is still under warranty so I will only need to pay for the freight and labor for the original ECM motor and capacitor totaled around $400. I have paid another $129 to the authorized dealer for a service check which is worth doing so. I am writing the Church Heating & Air to demand the service charge refund to me and waiting for their reply. And hope that they can perform better on service. Maybe they are good at maintenance service which I believe in the reviews posted before so I choose them but I found out the true picture for paying $100. Choose carefully, folks.

Mark is so so helpful, even willing to share (sell) me a transformer 24VAC so that I can repair my property's HVAC yesterday while Tracy was at 105 deg F~! This is not about money, selling me a parts does not make any money but to help me to keep the house cool asap. I made an error on wiring, blew the new transformer. He then sell me his last one in inventory just to help me out! What a great professional! Then I was able to diagnose to be the original root cause, a shorted coil of the 240V relay at the compressor inside the compartment. I took a photo, texted it to Mr. Church, it was about 9PM. He has one in his truck, so I was lucky, got it from him, installed and completed the job 10PM and keep the house cooled~! Thank you Mark Church. When you help people not because of money, we know you are good.
Call up and talk to the owner mark about coming out and looking at my heater he sounded kind of shaky abut it and wanted to call me back never receiving the call back I called service Champions and they came out and service the unit for $59 and did an outstanding job I would highly recommend them very professional

Mark the owner is a one of a kind business owner . He takes time to share his knowledge to people who are looking to be in the hvac trade. That's not why I am posting this review though. The customer is what's most important to thus company. Working after hours when most other company's would be closed and also doing what ever it takes to keep their customer happy. I am grateful I've been fortunate enough to see how church operates as a customer . - Todd
I love Church hearing and Air!!! I had a situation where installing a really effective high power whole house fan just was not possible due to the size of my attic and difficult access to it. Mark said “No way, we can do it!” AND THEY DID!!! I had scheduling difficulties and they were extremely patient with me. They were understanding and caring with me on other issues involving this fan. I could not be happier with this place. Plus Mark is so transparent and REAL!!! I really appreciated that. My whole house fan makes my air condition bill much less. I knew this already since I had one in a home in Woodland. When I called other places and even tried having one installed before finding Church....they all had no idea how the concept of a whole house fan worked and what I needed for my home in order for it to be effective. Church KNEW!!! They put in this “quiet cool system”. It has WiFi capability but I hated it so Mark took it out and refunded that portion. I am sure the WiFi is great for people who love their phone but I don’t as I am more old fashioned and Mark understood completely and was very supportive of what worked for my family. I am excited to hear about the bi-annual thing so next year before summer I can get my air conditioner serviced and my whole house fan cleaned of dust as required once a year. Also to clean one of my washable heater filters that is hard for us to reach. Mark has a heart of gold and a work ethic that simply does not exist anymore. I am blessed to have found Church Heating and Air and that they are based in the town where I live. I included a pic of my fan. I love it so much when the nights are cool and the day was hot. It pushes hot air out of my attic too so I don’t need attic fan. It is a great thing having a whole house fan. 🤠
Church Heating & Air just came out to service my HVAC system here in Mountain House and I couldn’t have asked for better service! Steve and Andrew were able to fit me in same-day and even showed up early. They were able to guide me as to how to properly take care of my systems moving forward and prices were absolutely worth every penny. I even signed up for their biannual service and now get discounted prices! Seriously, you don’t want to wait until your furnace or A/C goes out. I’m so glad I found this wonderful, 3rd generation family-owned Tracy business!!!!
