We had a small experience with Alex, but now he has a full-time customer. I called him to help us set up our Ecobee in our new house because my husband wasn't able to get it working and Alex walked him through it on FaceTime. Super nice of him and we really appreciated that. Thank you! We will be calling you with any heating or cooling issues we have!
I contacted him with a problem with my air. With 90 degree weather forcast I was worried I wouldn't get anyone. He came right over, got it running and was very very reasonable priced.
About a year and a half ago, I hired him to put duct work into my basement and check out my furnace. I am a full time single mom, so I really haven’t had to time to check everything out. I am now getting to remodeling my basement and noticed a ton of issues. I had a contractor down there and he mentioned how poorly the ducts were put together. Also noticed a few holes cut into the wall and ceiling, then he left them open when he changed his mind on where to put a vent. I have open holes into the duct work as well, he did not put any vent covers on. Also, he cleaned out my furnace filter, and failed to clean all 3 of them. Only one looked like it was cleaned all the others that were found in the back need to be replaced due to a build up of debris. My furnace filter is an electronic one, now a paper replacement filter. Super disappointed and mad I spent the money for such poor work. Also upset it took me this long to noticed. I just wanted to make others aware.
Would highly recommended this company. Alex responded right away and was at my location within 2 hrs. Totally job completed within 30 minutes. Pricing was even better.

Woke up on a cold morning to find that our furnace had shut off over night. Had heard about Chudy Heating and Cooling through a neighbor, so I gave them a call. I described the problem over the phone, and Alex offered to come by the same afternoon. But he also told me what he thought the problem was and how I might be able to take care of it myself. I did what he recommended, and it got my furnace back up and running without the need for a service appointment. This type of honesty and integrity guarantees that Chudy Heating and Cooling will be the first place I call next time we have trouble with our heat or A/C.
He was at my house in four minutes !!! He came in between calls and fixed our furnace so we didn't freeze. The cost was reasonable. We recommend this business to everyone and will call again should we have a need!

Chudy heating was very responsive when my air conditioner quit working last Summer and he repaired it promptly.
Had an issue with my furnace and had a different HVAC company quote me for next day service. Talked with Alex at Chudy Heating and Cooling and he fixed it next day for THOUSANDS less than the other quote. He even popped back over the next day to drop off a carbon monoxide detector free of charge. Highly recommend.

Our furnace in our Hudsonville home went out on New Year’s Eve. Talk about a bummer. A holiday, a weekend, everything was closed or super expensive because of holiday/emergency rates. Thankfully Alex being closely located in Jenison was so great to work with. He worked within our budget, and got our system working within 24 hours or so of coming out to see what was up. He even set up a temporary repair until he got the part available and installed. Overall it was a great experience. Our furnace is old and will definitely need to be replaced in the next few years and we will 100% use Alex and Chudy Heating and Cooling when that day comes.
Alex installed A/C in our home in Jenison. Everything works great, the system is quiet, and it looks neat and tidy, too! Not only was it great work at a great price, but Alex was also very patient when my kids wanted to stand around watching him work. I highly recommend them!
We were very pleased with Alex's work! He was timely and went above and beyond our expectation. A prior company we had service our HVAC had cut some corners with some of their repair work. Alex installed a new A/C unit in addition to repairing some of the other work that was neglected by previous service. We were pleased to have our A/C fully functioning and at a reasonable cost compared to other local companies. We will be calling Alex for our future HVAC needs and referring friends in the West Michigan area!
We are so happy with our new furnace and air conditioner installed by Alex. He is so personable and professional. He came out for an inspection and gave us a fair quote. The installation was quick and he left the work area tidy, no mess for us to pick up. He exceeded our expectations and I can’t recommend him enough.
