My wife and I had been considering refrigerated air for some time and finally did it. While on Instagram I ran across a catchy ad of “forty eight months on a new AC system” and took immediate advantage of contacting Eli at Chico’s Mechanical. The process was really quick. He and I scheduled a consult, he came over gave us a quote and scheduled the installation. Fortunately we have great credit, makes things really easy. Before we knew it our new furnace and new ac system were installed. Eli, his employee and the electricians he works with did a phenomenal job. We now enjoy the comfort and climate of our home even more with the refrigerated air brought to us by Chico’s Mechanical. I would, without a doubt, recommend their services to anyone looking for improving the comfort of their heating and cooling needs. Look, I can go on about professionalism & financing and all that deserves a 5 star rating by it self.. But fact of the matter is that Eli had to make electrical corrections that resulted in a up charge in price because of some other company's mistake, and Eli was willing to give me a price break on it and it wasn't even his company's fault... who does that?.. nope this is the company you want working for you.. 5 stars all around!!
Eli (owner) installed a platinum level heatpump plus electric tank water heater for about the same as the next lowest bidder would install only a bronze level heatpump (which wouldn't have worked because bronze requires heat strips and there was no room for the strips in my electrical box). And he caught and worked around the fact that the solar panel company from the previous year kind of shortchanged me on the electrical panel upgrade (not enough space in the box for everything i told them i wanted to install, e.g. an electric tankless water heater). Awesome service, great deal, highly trustworthy. Now I have a "green" house and my wife and I are no longer fighting over the temperature to set the house at with the evaporative cooler... it's so much more comfortable for both of us.
This company installed an A/C conversion. They were prompt and dependable. The price was definitely reasonable and their work is perfect. Thank you all for making my home comfortable.
Chico was referred to me by another R.E. agent. I needed to start up my swamp cooling system on one of my houses, he had a special going on for the month of April and May for $99. which included a new float and cleaning. He personally came out, did the work himself, with his helper and checked the whole system and found that the previous company did not properly wire the fan motor correctly to the thermostat setting. He corrected that and everything is great!
I truly recommend Chico’s mechanical for all you services. He took the time to answer all my question and gave me options. Then , he got the job done right and for a good price.
Eli’s work was clean and extremely professional, definitely surpassed my expectations. Him and his partner, Erik answered all my questions. Absolutely recommend this company to anyone who has A/C or heater issues.

This is a great company to hire for all of your AC, furnace, or water heater needs. Eli and his crew are very knowledgeable, clean, organize and responsible. He walked me through all the process to replace the old AC and heater. He even reinstalled my water heater properly in order to have an inspection and get the city permit. He will guarantee all new equipment for 10 years and the labor for a year which I think is awesome. Now me and family are ready to receive the summer with a fresh and powerful AC unit. Chico's mechanical picked up our project out in Española, NM. They did an awesome job installing a brand new HVAC system in the new construction house being built. They were true to their word and very punctual. Professional from the start. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good reputable HVAC contractor!

Really disappointed in the lack of knowledge that my tech had. After paying to replace the motor on my swamp cooler, it burned out again because ultimately the old bearings put it under load which also caused the unit to vibrate on the house. These are the conclusions that I came to after and repair man came back only to tell me he could not repair my cooler which resulted in me replacing the entire unit MYSELF. No call back or follow up after he said he would. In short this guy only tried to sell me refrigerated air the whole time which I found extremely irritating.
eli is very reliable and proffesional with his services, been doin new installations and repairs in houses for us and cant complain.. cortazar investments is glad chicos hvac is around albuquerque new mexico!.!. recomend 100%
