I contacted Ray for a furnace repair, turns out I needed a replacement. Ray found the equipment I needed during an emergency situation. They got my heat up and running ensuring I would not have frozen pipes. After that came out and finished AC installation. I have worked with many contractors over the years. I was quite impressed with his attention to detail. Though this was an emergency he spent the time making it look great as well.
Ray just finished designing and installing a new Heat system in my large commercial shop. During that time, he went above and beyond the scope of work included in the estimate. Never complaining, always professional. A big part was getting the gas service ran to the site, which was a real challenge for me. With his strong communications skills, he kept on top, keeping the ball rolling and even talking Nicor into coming out to the job site on Super Bowl weekend to wrap their part up, after which he finished his.
He was on time cleaned everything up when he was done our new furnace looks really good. Explained everything in detail to us. Super nice guy I totally recommend him
Ray was very professional and knowledgeable. He showed up on time and inspected everything. After a few tests he figured out the problem was the control board on my furnace. Ray replaced the board and inspected the rest of the system. There was also a weak capacitor and the system was burning too much gas. Ray replaced the blower motor capacitor and adjusted the furnace to burn the proper amount of fuel. Ray made sure everything was taken care of. 10/10 I would recommend

Called and Ray Hughes came out! From my furnace not working till repair made parts supplied. He also recommended a tuneup which he completed. All for under $300. Ray was not only professional but friendly and very knowledgeable I’m happy I called him and warm again !!!!! Thanks

Ray responded quickly to my call and was obviously experienced. I called him because my furnace was not firing up, and he ended up replaced my faulty gas valve at a competitive price. I would definitely call him again!

Ray is a great communicator, both before and after service. He explained clearly what to expect prior to his service call, and explained thoroughly after the job his findings and services performed. I believe he's honest, straightforward, and thorough. He's now our go-to guy for HVAC service.

Highly recommend! We hired Ray as the property manager for our fraternity back in 2016. Our house is 95 years old so Ray had his work cut out for him. He conducted multiple cost saving measures but one of the biggest was the boiler repair. We had been contemplating replacing our boiler for a number of years. Ray diagnosed the issue and completed maintenance and basic repairs for a few hundred dollars what would have cost us at least ten thousand otherwise.
Ray has extensive knowledge relating to all HVAC functions. Highly recommend using him as he will test everything and make sure your system is in tip top shape before leaving your house.
