Sold a furnace that was supposed to be new. Refurbished, mother board upside down, not to code, ... avoid them!

Keith came to my property twice and didn’t fix the ac. He didn’t do anything of value on the first visit. On his second visit, I had a 9 am appointment and he didn’t show up until after 2pm. He completely wasted my time that I could have used working with a reputable company. This was during a heat wave. He also gave an obscene quote for repairs that were not needed. Still, he never completed the repairs and stopped answering my calls after he received the money for the diagnostic. I wish I would have gone with another technician to begin with. Save your time and money and go with another company.

Schedule not one, but two appointments with this company. Unfortunately, for me I'd thought the first Schedule appt was a fluke but second appointment would be different. No, this company has show its true colors of not respecting customers time by not showing or calling on both occasions. I heard about this company on WVON what a shame. Had to take my business elsewhere because this company didn't respect my time or wanted my business. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING!!!

I had another company come out they could not find the problem after 3 technicians came out and they tried to sell me a new furnace .I called Certified Heating LLC and Keith Nelson and Marsell came out they were able to locate the problem and fixed it. This is my new furnace company. I will refer this company to friends and family.

Humidifier worked for 1 day after waiting for months for part to repair. Would not come back to comp;ete work. I called and told Nelson I was gonna called the TV channels to investigate him, and to this day I have not heard from him and I'm suppose to have a warranty!!!! DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!

I heard about Certified Heating Co about 5 or 6 years ago on WVON radio. Mr Nelson came to my home for a maintenance check and installed a humidifier on my furnace. Two years ago he replaced a furnace at my rental property. The price was a bargain compared to other company estimates. I recently had my 30 year old furnace and air conditioner at my home replaced with a new furnace and air conditioner. The bottom line is Certified Heating Co has the best furnace and air conditioning system on the market as per Consumer Reports. They have an A* rating with BBB. Mr Nelson is a nice guy, honest and after all these experiences worthy of my trust. The crew is professional as I expect. They will also perform maintenance at both my properties for the next 15 years included at no charge. I got what I required. I’m happy

Keith Nelson does not return costumer calls. After several attempts I gave up and went with a different company. I try to support black owned businesses but with the amount of money I was willing to spend with this company I was highly disappointed in Keith's inconsistency.

First i was told someone would be out at 9am at 9:45 I recieved a call that Keith was on his way and will be there in 10 to 15 minutes cool no problem I understand stuff happens I'll see you when you get here. Well at 5 to 11 he finally showed up not sure what happened to 10-15 minutes. Keith checked out my unit for a little over 2 hours and said that there are 3 things wrong with it and I need a new unit quote was for $3600....What the unit was put in march of 2015 it's only 5 years old? I had checked it out before hand and know it had a code 64 for an internal failure. So I started co check the usual out I bought a $21flame sencor and a $40 ignitor quick easy had both replaced in 15 minutes turned the power back on and lord behold the unit fires right up. $60 in parts and 15 minutes of my labor and the unit has not shut off for almost a week now. DON'T TRUST THERE WORK AND KEITH WILL SCAM YOU or he just doesn't have the knowledge to fix the unit.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. He cleaned my mom's furnace earlier so I called him when my own started blowing cold air. He did come the same day and told me it was a motor issue and he needed to order parts. This was on a Wednesday and after ignored phone calls he finally told me it would be $965 and then suggested I should call someone else if I couldn't pay him in cash or a check. This was the following Monday. Well I did call someone else and they fixed my furnace for $80!! Now he did get my mom right so I'm not saying he's the worst, but if he tells you something is wrong and it costs alot do yourself a favor and get a second opinion.

This man is terrible. Please review his reviews from Yelp. I try my best to patronize African American businesses. This is the last time, I use this service. Last year, he came out and replaced the motherboard in my furnace. The furnace went out again this year. He came out in November and he said it was a switch. I paid him and he replaced it. 30 days later my heat goes back out again. I called him back out. He cancelled on me a few times. He finally came back out. He said it was the motherboard and I said it should be under warranty. He said he would order it. I have texts going back to December 3rd. He has cancelled a few times and sometimes he did not even call to say he was not coming. On Saturday, December 14, he came and replaced the part. On Sunday he text me to and told me he would give me 20% off for a review. And reminded me he did not charge me for this last visit. Mind you, I have been seriously inconvenienced as I was not able to stay in a house with no heat of which he repeatedly cancelled. I have taken off of work three times because he was supposed to be coming. This morning the heat went out Again. I have text Mr. Nelson and I have not received any response to as of yet. In the interium B and Z Heating Air came out. Mr. Nelson did not properly wire a part which caused my heat to go out. He fixed it in less than 20 minutes. However I had to use a 3 day off of work due to this problem.

With all of the great reviews here I was really hopeful that I would receive great service and a new service provider. Sadly, that was not to be. I first contacted Qualified on 11/7 and was told that they could squeeze me in for a furnace check/clean on 11/9. My allotted time came and went without any contact from the company. I gave them another opportunity and called again on 11/11 for an appt. on 11/16. Again, nothing. I even I asked when making the appt. if I should call the day before to confirm and was told that wouldn’t be necessary. The gentleman I spoke with was very professional and seemed very nice. I’m really disappointed.

I would not recommend Qualified Heating to anyone. They did not show up until after the 2nd missed appointment. I was quoted one price that was not honored when time came for the work to be performed. Lastly, when I called twice to obtain a return call to discuss the price and when the work could be started, I did not receive a return call.

Keith Nelson is an honest, reputable HVAC owner and technician. My husband and I have been very satisfied with the work done at our home by Keith and his team. During the winter, he installed two new furnaces for us on the same day and gave us a fair price, even though the weather was extreme. Today, he and one of is team members returned to service our air conditioners. As usual, we were highly satisfied with all work performed.
