i had Andy out to check on a furnace problem. Other companies refused to look at it because it was over 20 years old. Andy came an determined it was just a dirty flame sensor which he cleaned and was done in under an hour. We were very pleased with his honesty, because we didn't know and would probably have been scammed by less reputable HVAC companies. Based on that, I had him back to replace our water heater with a tankless one. Andy worked from morning until evening until we were back up and running on the new water heater. He's definitely my go to guy for plumbing and heating. I also like that he's local in Westgate. I'd strongly recommend him for any plumbing/HVAC repairs or upgrades.
Andy and son just recently graduated from HS installed our replacement A/C that was the incorrect unit fro 2011. Totally professional and most of all honest with fair pricing. All done in about 3 hours with a lunch break. Working great. They have a new customer!!
We used Andy after our combi boiler was on the fritz a couple months after moving into our new home. Andy was stellar! The issue required multiple visits to diagnose and subsequently fix the problem. Every time Andy was kind, hardworking, and provided no nonsense insight (which we greatly appreciated.) He cared about doing the job right above all else and didn’t stop until it was fixed. We haven’t had any problems since he came out and will be using him for all our needs in the future! It’s almost time for our boiler check and anticipate having the same level of high quality service then too! Highly recommend!!
We have a very complicated system for our hot water and radiant heating system. The boiler was not coming on so we were not getting hot water. I was shopping around getting quotes for a repair, and so many places told me things like "We have to replace your boiler and all of the piping and valves etc.". I got quoted between $12K to $22K from some of these places. I came across Cavazos and setup an appointment to have Andy come and take a look at it. He came by and quickly diagnosed a stuck valve and damaged motor on the domestic hot water return. He fixed the system quickly and prevented us from spending thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs and replacements suggested by the other corporations we had called. He also took the time to explain my complicated system to me and answered all of my questions about it. I highly recommend him as an honest and knowledgeable HVAC repairman.
Andy was responsive and timely to set up an appointment. He was able to troubleshoot our issue with AC system. Friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend.
