I'm a blue collar guy and have a job just like the rest of us mostly. I appreciate someone who owns and operates their own business, typically where I choose to spend my money. ; reached out to Carl for routine HVAC maintenance to which we scheduled an appointment almost immediately. Only to find out that it needed to be pushed as an install had come up, ok no big deal stuff happens. We rescheduled for another date. I again took time off work to be home and morning of that appointment was told that they had an install come up and asked if I'd be available the next day at Noon, I responded with I could be if you'll be here. So we scheduled for the very next day, again I drove back home from work to be here at Noon only to get a text at 11:56 telling me they're running 1-2 hrs behind.... I have to leave to go back to work at 1:15 p.m. ; wish someone like Carl would have a little more respect for folks with working schedules, we're all out here trying to survive but to leave me hanging 3 times in a row.... uncalled for.
Honestly the best AC company in the Austin Area. Honest and they actually troubleshoot the issues and fix the root cause instead of just bandaid solutions or trying to sell you stuff you don’t need.
A+ service - they had my A/C unit up and running in no time. I appreciate their timely response - especially in this heat! Highly recommend!
Honest people who do good work.
It was the morning the cold front came in when I noticed our heater was not working. When I called on Saturday morning to see if they could come out, they said probably not because they were so busy, and that it would probably be Monday. Several hours later, they called and said they fit me in because of the cold weather. They got my heater working until they could replace the motor I needed the following week. I so appreciate their great service. Carl and his daughter were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and then worked with me to get the best deal. I would highly recommend them.
Carl’s Heating & AC are exceptional. They were professional, extremely nice, and very knowledgeable. They explain everything they were doing and why they were doing it and were 100% transparent with my service call. Their pricing was reasonable especially for the service they provided. I would recommend Carl’s Hearing & AC to anyone that needs AC/heating repair.
Carl's heating and air came out 8/25/2022 to see if they could get my old 18yr AC unit working again. They said the system may have leak but we can try and add Freon and see if it works. Well on the morning of 8/26/2022 a Friday the AC was not working again so I knew I need to replace the old unit. Call Carl and they said they would see if they could locate a new unit soon. Later that day they had found everything needed and said they would be here early Monday morning 8/29/2022 to install the new Carrier heating and air unit. Well sure enough they were here at 8 a.m. and my noon they were done and gone. By 6pm that day the house was cool again. Very very happy with them and there service. Super nice people, thanks again.
Carl's Heating and Air came out this week - Carl, his daughter Callie, and a technician in training. They were able to see me within 24 hours. They were professional, personable, explained what they were doing and why, and willing to work on our older system without any heavy-handed upgrade sales tactics. I will definitely call them for my future HVAC needs.
Carl not only came even earlier than promised and fixed the problem, but also proved he is dependable and extremely honest when he fixed the controller board that failed a week after being replaced with no extra charge. And now 5 years later we had the upper floor external unit stopped working on Saturday during a very hot Summer. After a few text messages we had an appointment for Monday 11am. At which time they showed up and quickly fixed and even washed my external A/C units. Carl's team is amazing and they set a very high bar of professional excellence that they meet every single time.
This was honestly the nicest AC company I have ever dealt with. Carl and Callie were very responsive and explained everything along the way so I could maintain my AC myself going forward. They went above and beyond a regular service call in my opinion. I would HIGHLY recommend.
Our AC wasn't working and Carl was right on time for the appointment. It was easy to schedule and they were very fast and friendly. They gave us some instructions to help maintain the AC in the future and were also very reasonably priced. Thanks Guys!

I have worked with Carl twice now and couldn't be happier with his service. The first time for a heavily clogged AC drain last summer, but more recently for my heater going out. In both cases, he has been professional and friendly, and happily explains everything he does and how to take care of the system myself in the future. I have never felt pressured to get more work done than necessary, and in this recent case with my heater, he had it fixed in less than an hour, after I'd had someone else look at it and tell me I'd need to replace the whole system! My mistake for ever calling anyone else; Carl is the man and I will definitely be calling him again any time I need help.
Heating in my house due to recent roof replacement as they put wrong cap on the vent on the roof(which actually Carl figured out) Carl and his daughter are very professionals very on time quick appointments. Thank you so much guys for quick turn around and help.
We had a problem with our AC drain line and reached out to a few people. Carl responded quickly (through texts) with suggestions on what to look for if we wanted to DIY first instead of just giving us a quote. We decided to go with him and were very glad we did. Carl and his daughter are very knowledgeable and personal. They educated us on a lot of things and they also found another source of problem that we had (with the AC capacitor). They took their time to explain and address any concerns that we had (and we bombarded them with a bunch of questions). He will be our go to guy for any HVAC issue, highly recommend this wonderful father-daughter team!
Carl is our go to guy. He is amazingly friendly, truly wants to help his customers and isn't afraid to help his customers understand what to look for and how to troubleshoot easy problems, with their units. He WANTS you too describe your problem and send pictures (even video at time) , so he is better prepared, and more likely to resolve your issue, upon arrival. Anyone that has used Carl for their HVAC needs knows this and is likely to make Carl their go to guy.
If you are looking for honest and knowledgeable service you found it in Carl's heating & air. We worked with another company and they kept having to come back to fix our AC Unit. We called Carl and he only needed one trip. Highly recommend his service.

Carl was very knowledgable, reasonable, good vibe and very transparent about his service. I call him all of the sudden in 7/4/20 and found abt him on Nextdoor where other people used his service and let me tell you I highly recommend him or will refer him to any other person.
