Mike Styres & Co. have extremely responsive, dependable and have not just fixed stuff for me but helped me learn to maintain it. Our home is older and lived in, but the HVAC is the least of our worries thanks to Capital City Heating & Air.
Mike and his team were great to work with! Needed a new HVAC unit installed and within a week he was able to get in touch, provide an estimate, and come out to replace the old unit with a brand new one. Very professional and personable.
Mike and his team did a very professional job replacing my old A/C, Furnace, ducts and thermostat. They started the job on time, provided an excellent clean up and finished on time. Mike was excellent in guiding me to the right products for our home. The labor rate was reasonable and the invoice matched the estimate. We could not be any happier with the service provided. We look forward to working with Capitol City Heating and Air for all our HVAC needs in the future.
My old unit had been slowly dying for years. Each year I'd call someone out and get it going again. I got to work with quite a few of the HVAC guys in RTP. They would send their "quote guy" a few days later. The sales guy gets paid for selling and usually isn't the tech guy. He would look at my 1975 installation, and 30 seconds later, had everything he needed. Not Mike with Capital City - he is the guy. He actually got a measuring tape out and measured how much room he had, what ducts would need to be rerouted. He basically redesigned the installation on paper in order to quote what would be needed. We talked through several options. And here's the zinger - Mike was here to ensure it was installed exactly as discussed. Super happy with the new unit too. My electric bill was cut in half, and the place was freezing all summer.

We did not end up going with Capitol City for our new HVAC system, but I still wanted to leave a review because we had such a positive experience while we were trying to choose between different companies. Mike was very responsive, and took plenty of time to explain all of our options in detail. He did not rush us to make a decision, but did call to follow up once or twice which I really appreciated. If we need further HVAC assistance in the future, we will definitely give Capitol City a call!
The company is very professional. We had issues with our AC. Mike spent alot of time explaining my options. Mike was prompt in replacing my unit, very professional, and cleaned up any areas they were in. I highly recommend this company.
Mike was fantastic! He replaced our A/C unit for a fair and reasonable price, was on time, every time, and was polite, friendly and patient with us in answering all the questions we had.
I have used Capital City three times (twice for service and once for a new unit)and they have always been great! Mike always gets me in quickly and he is honest and charges very reasonable prices. I will never use anyone else for my heating and air service!!
Can't say enough good things about this company, the people who work there and the service they provide. I had a REALLY old unit (19yrs) and they helped me keep it going until it just wouldn't go anymore. Explained my options and scheduled my replacement when the time came. Extremely responsive (even on a Saturday when the problem wasn't even directly connected to my system). Absolutely experienced professionals at a fair and honest price. Can't go wrong with Mike and Capitol City Heating & Air!

My gas furnace would not start. I had been renting and needed to find an HVAC company. I decided to go with Capitol City Heating and Air based on the straight five star ratings. The reviews are accurate and well deserved. This is a family business. They were prompt and provided same day service. They also got my gas fireplace fan working and didn’t charge extra. The owner even stopped by to make certain everything was okay and to help with the fireplace. Plus they changed the filters, again without adding extra. Fixing the furnace for a fair price was important, and equally important, I found them trustworthy. Next time it will be an easy decision to call Capitol City Heating and Air again.
Been doing business with this company for over 10 years. 3 Homes and 4 Ac units and never had an issue. Reliable service and professional. Want it done right, this is the place to go.

Couldn’t ask for nicer guys to come out and get your AC running on hot days. Polite and willing to get out quickly. They were very sympathetic to our hot situation! Hire them!
