This was our first time using calloway and sons, our unit outside stopped running all together I called them at 7:30 a.m. that next morning and Dominic was here by 4:45 the same day. Dominic was very knowledgeable and explained everything every step of the way. He will definitely be our go to technician from now on. He seemed very trustworthy and genuine.

Update. It’s been two years since my review. Dominic has been my regular serviceman. He’s always very professional and friendly If he has a suggestion that will cost me money, he always explains why in detail. He installed a dehumidifier because my attic is so well insulated it was causing problems with my AC unit. My AC went out at 8 pm on Friday night. The heat index for the next day was going to be 104. I thought there’s no way anyone will come out before Sunday. I was happily surprised when they sent Ryan to my house the next morning at 10:30! I’ve signed up for a maintenance program so I will avoid this in the future

I have spent a few thousand dollars with Calloway & Sons including a coil replacement that was done in properly and continued added freeon, please do your research before hiring this company I had their staff on their phone 'youtube' fixes which I over hearing when I had a service contract with them and finally found a reputable a/c company that is able to identify issues and correct/explain properly. I am adding this feedback in addition to an email sent to the company for others to be able to do their research prior to hiring.

Calloway had done some repair work for us so I remembered them. In April I discussed with Ryan the idea of paying half down on a whole Daikon replacement and sidestep a price rise that was coming in May. Do this If you have it in mind for your house. it is well worth asking about. They know when the price hikes are coming. We replaced our 22 year old HVAC system from stem to stern in October. They came on time and completed the work in 2 days. We've operated it for a few days now, all well. My only observation is that crews need to police the grounds of work areas when they finish. It is a small thing that everyone notices in a walk around.

We purchased a new outdoor unit three months ago. Yesterday, our AC was out. We called for a service appointment in which the guy stated it was a thermostat issue and therefore not covered under warrant (understandable). After $352, we had a new thermostat and a running AC. Today, we are without AC again and we cannot get serviced today unless we pay a $199 fee after we have already given them $7,000 between the new unit and service cost. I also now question if the issue yesterday was truly the thermostat as it has not been 24 hours since the thermostat was changed and we are without AC again. Very good service when you’re paying them. Very bad follow up service once they’ve collected.

Beware of using this company if timeliness, and professionalism are qualities that you value in a company. I can't rate their quality of work because Calloway and Sons never showed up for my scheduled appointment, nor called; this was the second time. I initially choose this company because of Kermit's Ruffin's appearance in their commercial. What a MISTAKE!. On the first occasion, I reached out to Calloway and Son's when no one showed up. The reason they gave was that the technician was stung by a bee. Yes, emergencies happen but I didn't receive a courtesy call, text, nor an apology when I called them....... The receptionist don't return phone calls, voice messages never get returned . Maybe the consumer's money isn't important to them, but you would think that having a thriving business would be. Thankfully, I have taken my business elsewhere.
