We were plagued by weather. The part which was ordered, was not the part that was received. We were kept abreast of events as they happened, and our service was accomplished in a timely manner. Chris and his team are amazing. Not only did they replace all of my ductwork and repair all of my returns and registers. My house is now warm for the first time in many years. Most importantly, I had got other bids for twice the amount. Chris and his team are very fair, when they were finished, you would have never known anyone was working on the house. I will always use them and recommend them.

Impossible company to get ahold of, whether it's via phone call or email. The office "lady" is very unprofessional, will call you horrible names. Their techs never turn in paperwork. Horrible hvac contractor. If I could give 0 stars I would. Looking into the BBB to report as well. * Please be aware the office help is extremely rude and offensive to callers. She will call you rude names and cry to the owner. I'd appreciate if the owner reprimanded her for causing issues****

September 14 2020 our A/C unit was having an issue in which the blower fan would stay on after thermostat had reached desired temp. Christoper came out and found the issue within 15 minutes of climbing up on the roof. He explained the problem addressed it and had our unit working like it should. Definitely going to setup the pre-summer and pre-winter maintenance with them from now on.

Chris is the man!!! I’ve been using Chris for three plus years now. He was recommended by a family friend when I had an emergency situation. He took care of the situation asap and ever since then he comes 2x a year for regular maintenance. I will continue using him and always recommend him!

This company was contracted TWICE by my Home Warranty. The first time the Tech said that no one was home - didn't knock or even call to say he was here. I have a camera on my front door that registers people coming and going no one came to the door... had to call and reschedule. Tech came put the refrigerant in problem solved.... Here we are now Tech showed up didn't get out of his vehicle, knock, call, nothing. Turns out he almost fell off the roof last time and is now refusing to service my AC stating that it is unsafe.. I get the concern and could have had more respect for the Company if someone communicated that when they were here instead of leaving with no communication. When talking to "Chris" about the issue the only response for lost wages and no communication seem to be "I don't know anything about that". Conveniently no on was in the office to answer calls only emails. Communication with Consumers is Customer Service 101. You have to talk to them and explain the issues not leave them in the dark.... I would give them no stars if I could. Whether the roof was safe or not was not the problem....the lack of communication was and is the problem. You do not communicate with people you leave them hanging. Had I not sent an email you would have ignore us completely. At end of day this is not how you do business with people, you have to communicate with them.

Caledonian was assigned to me through my home warranty company for heating repairs. I reached out to the company on 01/03/22 to schedule an appointment. I left a voicemail and never received a call back but the next day received a text and email notification that they would be coming to my home on 01/10/22. Well today’s the day and nobody showed up. I emailed them around 1pm to see if I could get an ETA on when they would be arriving since their message had stated between 8am-5pm (forcing me to stay home from work). Soon after I emailed them, I received a message stating my appointment had been cancelled. Called them and left them a voicemail and emailed them. When I contacted my home warranty about the matter, the excuse they gave them was they were “short staffed” although this is a valid excuse given we’re in a pandemic, there is no excuse for a same day cancellation especially if that’s the reason. While I was typing this they did email me their excuse but still not okay. By the looks of it, it seems I’m not the only one with this issue. I hope others have a more positive experience.

Repairs of our HVAC system were assigned to Caledonian heating and air by our home warranty. They were to get a report back to our home warranty within 24-48 hours. 9 days later a report still hasn’t been submitted and my A/C is still not repaired. Office staff is terrible about answering the phone or returning phone calls.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Chris and his team at Caledonian Mechanical. We had a 38 year old AC unit that finally died. We were covered by a home warranty, and home warranty companies are notorious for not wanting to replace units. Over the past three years we've had multiple companies come out to diagnose and repair issues with the unit, and despite usually recommending a replacement, a quick fix would be offered instead. After Chris diagnosed the unit and submitted his report, the warranty company very quickly approved complete replacement and ordered our unit. That said, being a very hot summer, units were not readily available so we had to wait. But Sara at Caledonian stayed on top of our order, calling to provide updates and didn't leave us hanging without knowing what was going on. The unit became available and Chris and his team came out and installed the unit on Friday. We couldn't be happier with the service Caledonian provided and are so happy to finally know we have a efficient and working unit. I am grateful for Chris and Caledonian Mechanical and will always trust them to come and work on our unit. We will also be signing up for their annual maintenance to keep the unit in tip top shape.

Can you please call us back, or atleast tell your address if you have any? It’s been almost one month, our ac is not fixed yet, everytime I call them it goes to voice mail and now their voice mail is full too. It’s so hot out there and I have a little one at home in this hot weather, it’s hard for kids to tolerate this much heat, one month is a long time, the person who came to fix our ac told that it will take one week to receive the condenser that he ordered online and we are still waiting and calling them and they don’t even pick up the phone call. Worst experience so far with them.

Stay as far away from this company as humanly possible!!! They sent a technician to “repair” my ac unit on my home back in late June of 2020. I was even charged extra for the shipping fees on the part that they needed to fix my unit. Today I discovered my air conditioning to be broken again, about a month after they had installed a new motor, I called the company and was told that they earliest they could even come to examine the air conditioner would be next Thursday. The last time they sent a service tech to my home I ended up waiting an additional two weeks for delivery of a part before they could even fix it so my hopes of them fixing this issue before the end of this month is close to zero.... in the meantime my family is sitting in 100+ weather for the foreseeable future with absolutely no sympathy on their end, in fact I was told by Sarah on their end that I should be more understanding of their situation... they seem to forget who’s paying who.
