AC busted at 11pm. Called 25 companies over a half hour. These were the only guys that picked up. Showed up and finished 3am. They needed to pick up a part far away next day. Showed up on time. Clean and friendly. Customer for life.
I never write reviews, but had to for CD Shanahan's. My AC just died right in the middle of a brutal heat wave. I cold-called Shanahan's and they were at my house in less than 2 hours. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and gave me a very fair, free quote that beat the other two companies I got estimates from - and they did a fantastic job installing a new AC + furnace in just two days! They were also very patient with my many questions and spent a lot of time talking me through everything. They're also fantastic at communicating with you. You always get a hold of them immediately and never deal with someone in a "call center." It's peace of mind knowing that whenever I need them, I can absolutely count on them. Just two days after they installed my new AC, my brother's AC began leaking. I texted Jimmy at 7:30 at night to ask if he could help my brother. Jimmy responded immediately and was at my brother's house before 8am the very next morning. I'm a network news supervisor, so highly skeptical by nature. I did extensive research before choosing an HVAC company, and I'm so glad I chose Shanahan's. I could not recommend them highly enough!
We had another great experience with C.D. Shanahan's. Elijah was professional, honest, thorough, and kind and patient with our kids who wanted to see what he was doing. He saved us a lot of money as well. We had been given a quote from another company for maintenance work that was supposedly necessary. We asked Elijah for a second opinion, and he showed us that this work was not necessary at this time.
I had to reschedule a couple of times and CD was great about accommodating my schedule. Also Elijah the technician was on time and explained to me in detail the current condition of my AC unit. I would highly recommend them.
Higher estimates for a HVAC replacement compared to other companies for the same product. Offered other solutions that didn't seem optimal.

Technician “Jimmy” had to come back because of error message from yesterdays work and was very professional with timely response and troubleshooted the codes to completion. Great service from the beginning to end. Strongly recommend for HVAC peace of mind.
Elijah Butler, the technician, was awesome! He explained every piece of the maintenance service to me. This really helped me learn more about keeping my unit running well and hopefully extending its life.
Jimmy was great. He showed me the problem and also had me watch what he was doing so I would be more informed in the future. He was very thorough and educated me on the type of air filter I should use. He was just really personable, efficient, knowledgeable and highly skilled. I will definitely use them again.
One of the few places in the area that understands Carrier equipment. They set reasonable time windows and text ahead that they are coming. Service was quick, courteous, and professional. They now offer plumbing services with experienced plumbers who explain things well.
They were able to quickly find the issue with a leak we were having. They also waited to let me cut a whole in the our ceiling myself to save me some money. Very helpful and nice people. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.
The tech that came was very knowledgeable and respectful. He let me know how my system was running. Even though I have an older system, he didn’t try to sell me anything. Definitely recommend Shanahan’s to anyone!

We had a leaky toilet and Evan did an excellent job at a very fair price. He was very knowledgeable about another concern we had with our other bathroom. We will be back over and over

The repair man is friendly and seems knowledgeable, but he can never keep an appointment. After calling with an excuse to postpone 3 times, I gave up. Will be using someone else.
Highly recommended, this group of knowledgeable experts (consisting of Connor, Brandon, Dillon, James, and Elijah) has elevated the standard of service to new levels. Their prompt and efficient replacement of my entire AC system (including the Air Handler and AC unit) in my condo unit 16 months ago, during the winter season, was remarkable (and their bid was the most competitive in the area). Since then, they've been consistently responsive to my service calls and inquiries as I familiarize myself with the new equipment. They have also been generous in sharing their knowledge, patiently addressing my (occasionally uninformed) questions about the AC system. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend their services.
