We were in need of repairs on our heater and not sure who to call. I noticed the "By the Book" truck across the street at my neighbors. I was unable to flag them down so had the gate ask them to come back to see if they could help us. They turned around and arrived within 5 minutes. Austin was professional and very friendly and found the issue to our problem. He managed to fix it quickly and got us back on track. He also adjusted our fan output and cleaned up our connection wires to the thermostat while he was here. I would highly recommend them for any heating and air-conditioning needs.

Austin from By The Book Heating and Air was referred to me and was the best decision I made for our upgrade in Templeton. He replaced our furnace and ducting, installed an AC unit, and relocated our water heater to free up much needed space in our house, all while taking care of the water and gas line work that was necessary. He did this all in two days! I own and operate a property management company in SLO (San Luis Property Management) and would/will hire him to work on the rentals in our portfolio. I’ve also recommended him to other colleagues in the county. His customer service, response time, and punctuality is top notch. Highly recommended.
