Having previously called a serviceman, limited in expertise and unable to do all which was needed, my husband called Brian MacDonalds firm. 2 areas of concern were discovered with our furnace. The wait for a part on order was somewhat frustrating, although understandable (don't we Americans want everything right now, today?), and we did some double checking on what seemed to be an exorbitant price (it wasn't.. it was average) ( Americans also hate spending money on obscure household elements, such as furnaces...but, my, how we need them!) . The work was done quickly and cleanly, within the financial range expected, and we have had no concerns or complaints. Every element of the furnace has been running smoothly. I would have no qualms recommending this company.
Came out to fix thermostat same day response which was nice, hw replaced with new model. This did not fix the issue, It took me multiple attempts and texts to get a response back after him hanging up the call multiple times. Made new appointment to come out and replace thermostat wire which he did not show up for. He is now ghosting my calls and texts, super unprofessional am going with another company to fix my heating.

Brian got right out to us same day when our boiler quit on us in the middle of a winter night. Most companies wouldn't even consider us. Needless to say it took a few days to figure out the problem as we have an unconventional boiler with an unconventional problem. He stuck with us all the way and got it fixed, always forthcoming and always back to help us. Never charged us an extra penny. Saved us thousands! Thanks Brian!
Brian couldn't have been a more attentive business owner - I was extremely happy with the work we did, and I would recommend using him again and again. His quotes are the best, and his response time was quicker than everyone everyone else I was dealing with. 5 Stars all day - if you are looking for a go to guy in his field - look no further.
Excellent service. Very Professional installation. Fair Price. Our traditional water heater went in the night. (Family of 5 - Cold Winter Night) We reached out to several companies early the next morning. Some could not install the tankless system (upgrade) that we wanted. Some could not schedule the work for a number of days. Others simply did not return our calls. Brian was at my house that morning to assess the situation. He pulled a crew in to remove the old water heater and came back promptly with the new system. Job completed before lunch. Excellent service. Very Professional installation. Fair Price. We will call Brian MacDonald from now on.

Horrible service!
When my hot water heater exploded in the middle of the night I thought it was going to be days to get it done. Brian was the first to call after looking at Home Adviser but I still spoke to a couple more companies. The work was completed by 11 am. The guys who came out were very polite and explained everything up front. After looking at my problem told me I needed a new hot water heater. One guy stayed to break down the old heater (saving lots of time) while the second went to get the parts needed. Never thought it would be done in less than 3 hours from the time I called.
I would never hire him again. He does not arrive when he says he will, does not oversee his employees, and disappears for long periods. I gave him money for a air filter grille door which he said was in stock, and three weeks later I still did not receive it after repeated assurances that it would be delivered the next day. He installed the air compressor crooked on the cement platform after saying he would fix it. He never did. They miswired the air handler because he failed to properly supervise his staff. He then screwed up the Honeywell T5 Lyric thermostat wireless application so that it now can only be controlled manually. I will have to hire someone to fix his mistakes. One of my co-workers scheduled an appointment for him and he never arrived and never bothered giving any explanation. Horrendous service experience. JULY 2018 (1 YEAR) UPDATE: THE SOLDERING JOB ON THE COMPRESSOR PIPES WAS SO BADLY DONE THAT ALL OF THE FREON LEAKED OUT OF THE SYSTEM. ALL THE FREON NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A WEEKLONG HEATWAVE AND THE AIR CONDITIONER WILL NOT FUNCTION. I HAVE HIRED A COMPETENT FIRM TO FIX THE MESS. THIS IS WHAT FRAUD LOOKS LIKE.
