UPDATE: 6/5/21 90 degrees and after they put almost 2lbs of refrigerant (supposedly) in my system still no change. The until still can't maintain less than 77 degrees. It works just fine operationally. I question whether or not any refrigerant was added because it performs the exact same as last year. First and foremost, they were an hour and a half late. This alone almost made me late for work. The gentleman kept wanting me to do this and that. Normally I wouldn't mind, but you showed up late. They charged me $80 for a service charge, the. $45 in labor for 15 minutes of work. Lastly, the service guy parked diagonally in my driveway and I had to back out with my car going halfway in the grass and I almost clipped my mailbox because of it. The work van had no company logos and was pretty run down looking. Not really an issue but also doesn't appear very professional. Seems like a tiny garage operation and the service reflected as such. I won't be returning. Stick with someone professional and reputable.

Furnace needed to be replaced. They came out and installed the new furnace in no time. Reliable and friendly.
Bob and his son showed up within the hour of my call. Furnace had failed when the temperature was 15 degrees as things seem to always happen! Needed a new gas valve for my furnace. Didn’t pressure anything beyond what was required to get it back running. Will be giving me a quote for a new furnace at my request. Very informative and answered all my questions. We had another well known Rockford company come out to fix our furnace as it had stopped working. They said they could not fix it and we needed a new furnace AND air conditioner! We decided to get a second opinion. That’s when we called Bob’s. He was out the same day and had the furnace fixed in about twenty minutes. No need for a new furnace! We saved about $7,000! Pays to get a second opinion and from someone who knows their stuff. I trust Bob and will definitely do business with him again. I highly recommend! Hire someone who is honest folks. This is the guy.

I recently called Bob’s Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning to get a quote on a new Goodman Central A/C unit. After receiving two quotes from other companies that wanted to conduct an extensive amount of work to install the Central A/C, I called Bob's. Bob took his time in explaining what I needed and did not need and then provided me with a quote. I was extremely impressed that he sold me what I needed, and did not try to up sell me for his benefit. I highly recommend Bob's Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning as a very reliable and reputable company to deal with in Rockford, Illinois.
They were able to come out the day I called and was able to diagnose and fix the problem within 30 minutes. Will be recommending anybody in need to Bob's!

We used Bob's Refrigeration the first time because of them being recommend to us by my sister. Without a doubt these guys know how to get the job done. Since the first time we hired them over 15 years ago we have had them out on a few of our properties for repairs and they always fixed our problem. This most recent visit was for them to upgrade my entire heating and air conditioning system. I'm very happy with the new system they installed and these guys!

The two guys who fixed my furnace were very professional and explained the problems and provided me with a cost effective solution. The attention to detail made me confident in their work. My utility bills have decreased noticeably and is in turn paying for the repairs. I highly recommend them for any repairs.
I called for service on my AC it was 90 degrees in my house talked with Rob the owner asked if they could come out right away they came went right too work fixed it right away I Will never call another service company again and I will refer BOBS REFRIGERATION to all my family and friends thanks again Rob you are the man.
