This fella sounds knowledgeable and affable on the phone, and maybe he is. In the summer of 2021, Manuel was contracted to replace an AC unit at a home I own. I had a tenant there at the time and was living out of Rockford. Manuel took advantage of this situation and did half the work. I sold the home in summer of 2022 his faulty partial work finally came to light. He would not return calls or emails to honor his work, so I had to have second AC person out to clean up his mess. Avoid this contractor.
Do not use this man. He lied to us for over a year and wouldn't respond to phone calls. He installed ac and heat but after we paid him in full it looks absolutely awful, it's embarrassing. He completely stopped replying to phone calls or texts, or makes up every excuse while using his "im such a sweet, caring, trustworthy guy. Just give me a second and ill fix it" Its all lies. He even began other jobs for us and never finished them, instead he fled (to who knows where) and we have no contact with him anymore. We had to get a lawyer involved, so unless you want to pay for service and a whole lawyer, don't use this man, manny aka Manuel. I have his last name if you need to know. No one deserves to get screwed over like this, and this was directly after I lost almost everyone and everything important to me. He knew this and still took advantage of me, knowing I have small children. Scumbag.
Manuel took our $200 deposit and never returned our calls or came out to do the work. Do not do business with this man.
Manny knows what he is doing! Highly recommend him.
They came to my house last year when the winter was at its coldest and got my furnace running even tho the parts supplier wasnt open ,then installed a new one this year. They are very professional and went beyond any other HVAC company that I have had work on my house ever. The workers that came are exmilitary so using Blue Ox also supports troops after service.
Manny came to our house on a Sunday when temps were dropping too low to be comfortable. Found the problem with the furnace within 20 or 30 min. He was able to find the part we needed and replaced it not much longer. Very appreciative of his services today and we’ll be calling him for our future furnace needs.
