Great company. Used them a few years ago. Trying to reach them now, Chris, you still around?
These guys are crooks. How they remain in business is beyond me. The don't complete jobs, install the wrong equipment and then somehow try to tell you it is your fault... They should have their license revoked.
If I could leave a negative star review, I would. This is by far and away the most dishonest and unprofessional contractor I have ever worked with and I interact with a lot of contractors through my work. First, after telling us the job was complete and asking to be paid, we discovered that there were several things still unfinished. When called on it, he said his, "investors would not let him come back and do the work unless he got paid more." Second, Chris smoked cigarettes inside the home that we had him working on. Third, when Chris left, he did not clean up - we had to do things like put the cover back onto the water heater. And last and most shocking, we paid him to install a new water heater and upon inspection, he installed a used water heater that he tried to pass off as new. Unbelievably unprofessional and dishonest. Trust me - you can do better with pretty much anyone you hire.
I have been very unhappy with the service I have received from Blue Flame and would never use them again. We had Chris install two new water heaters and two new furnaces in three different mobile homes. One of the water heaters he installed was not approved for mobile homes and posed a safety hazard. Any HVAC contractor should have known this, and I think Chris knew it too but he was just trying to be cheap even though he had no problem charging us over $1000 for the install. When I called him out on it, he refused to replace the water heater with an approved one, and instead promised me he would vent the water heater properly so it no longer caused a safety issue. I had to call and text him every other day for 3 weeks before he actually came out and completed the work. The other water heater we had him install stopped working after 2 months, and when I asked him to take a look at it, I got no response, even though he told me after the install that if we had any issues he would stand behind his work. For the furnaces, he pulled off the door casing to get them in, but never put them back on and it looks like he reused the old roof jacks even though he charged us to install new ones (see photos). Plus he was smoking in the house while working. I found his workmanship poor, his behavior unacceptable, and his prices too high. Chris makes a lot of promises, but he'll take your money and run. Beware of using Blue Flame. I would look elsewhere for an HVAC contractor.
Knowledgeable and will do work but they haven't shown proper work ethic to me.
I am very happy with the great service I received from Blue Flame.. it is so awesome to do business with someone that goes above and beyond to help others.. he came out on a Sunday after I had called late the night before. Not only does he keep helping people until midnight, but he also has lower prices than other companies..I highly recommend this business..thank you Blue Flame!..
Chris will literally not rest until the job is done, and any issues are made right. Great customer service and someone you can trust.
