We had an HVAC duct and vent cleaning through Better Air NW. scheduling the appointment was easy and the person in the office was responsive. The price was competitive and we went with them based on other positive ratings and responsiveness. We were able to get an appointment within a few days. Our tech guys, Tyles and Jack were professional and friendly. They did a great job cleaning, showing us before and after photos. They explained everything they would be doing. I would recommend this company and plan to use them again.

Our contractor requested service from Better Air Northwest at the tail end of our bathroom renovation. I had also redone our hardwoods 9 months earlier and while I had vacuumed up all the dust that I could, I suspected there was more. Jason and Jordan were the technicians that came out, they explained all of the steps and showed me where previous duct cleaning technicians had accessed the duct work. They showed me before and after of the vacuum filter basket, something I would suggest that all customers request, its gross and amazing. One small ding on the report card, was that one heater register that was accessed and cleaned, was not cleaned up afterwards and the grill was left off. No worries, quick cleanup.
They were great. Timely, quick and communicative!

We have been calling Better Air NW for furnace maintenance for a few years, and this year we also did duct cleaning with them. Their technicians are always very thorough, professional, and friendly - and their prices competitive. I was super happy with the duct cleaning, not only they walked me through the process and were super flexible in accommodating some logistics with my pets, but they also gave very honest assessments on what was needed and what wasn't for the condition of my home, ducts and furnace. Absolutely recommended and I will keep scheduling with them for any future needs.
Had a really great experience with Better Air NW today. Our tech Emmanuelle was the best. Professional, friendly, thorough, and efficient. We will definitely be using them again for regular duct cleaning. Definitely recommend.

Business practices is ridiculous. They charge for a quote to come out and even see what's wrong. We used them for an AC fix and they charged us twice. A $165 fee on giving us quote to fix ("diagnostic fee") and additional $400 for the actual fix. There are a lot more AC companies that don't charge you for a "diagnostic fee" - all other AC companies I have worked in Seattle charge for service only if they fix the AC or furnace.
Our hopes were high for Better based on neighbor recommendations. We had called half a dozen companies trying to find a company that would reinstall a mini split head we had to have removed for wall reconstruction. Most wouldn't touch a system they had not installed. Better said they could do it, so we happily scheduled them to come give us an estimate. This was in April. Their estimator Tom came out and said he wanted a second opinion on the job and would follow up with us to schedule the other estimator to take a look. Several days pass with no follow up, so I finally call and ask the person who answered about our estimate. She looked into it and said they would get it together for us and send it right over. I was surprised but assumed Tom's pictures must have proven enough to put together an estimate. We received the estimate not too long after and found the price to be very reasonable so called to book just a couple of days later. We booked them originally thinking our siding would be totally done but figured even if it wasn't, our siding company had in their scope to gently remove and reset the lines during their installation. So they came out to do the work in early June, except they weren't prepared AT ALL to do the work, did not have the materials needed and said they needed to come up with a plan and would call us to reschedule, and recommended we wait until after the siding was done. This was a few weeks ago now. Again radio silence until I called after a few days had passed (I was being patient as we had a little bit of time before we would move in and need the HVAC again) and asked if they had had a chance to come up with a plan, and did the estimate change at all? The person who answered said no changes necessary and scheduled us again for tomorrow (6/28). We ended up having a delay with our siding and called to ask them to reschedule, that we needed to bump a few days. Adam and Chris came to my house today. I have had my experiences with them in my previous 1969 years old property and they did so well and so clean so I decided to call them again. Office communications was clear and welcoming. Adam came to my house and said that my vents look clean and I do not have to spend my money on cleaning it and not charging me anything even the guys showed up on time for me. It is a very honest and trustworthy company with the best employees that I have ever worked with. I would trust them with all my heart and doing business with them about HVAC from now on.
I have utilized BetterairNW for a number of year now for my duct cleaning. They are top notch in every way and I highly recommend them. Jesse and his associate were very nice, thoughtful, and provided really superior service. Double thumbs up on this company.
They did a really good job cleaning the air ducts in my home. Audrey in particular was phenomenal and was able to fix our HVAC system. I would highly recommend them.

We have had Better Air NW out about 3 times to fix some issues with our thermostat and to service our entire air system. I am incredibly impressed with their professionalism and kindness. They have always tried to save us money where possible, keep us completely informed of the work they are doing, and complete tasks quickly and efficiently. Their scheduling team and process is excellent, we’ve never had an issue with communication with them. Audrey and Tom are techs that we have worked with directly and they are both so great and I’m very comfortable having them both in our home. I’m recommending this company to all friends/families/neighbors!
Our experience with Better Air NW has been top notch. We used them for a furnace maintenance a year ago and their price as well as services delivered were great. After last summer's heat wave we needed AC and contacted Better Air NW. Scheduling the quote was the longest wait (make sure you do in off season ;)) but after Matt came out they were able to provide a competitive quote and would be able to install the AC in the next month. Since our furnace was also really old and inefficient we decided to upgrade that at the same time as well. Matt was super knowledgable and helped talk us through our options. They offer many options to fit every budget, which we appreciated. Jake and Brandon were our installers and also did a really good job; not only were they efficient, but they were super knowledgeable about the process. They were able to finish the job in two days, as expected, and matched the price quoted. We did have one hiccup with the electrical contractor they hired for t-stat wiring but Better Air NW went above and beyond to rectify. The team at Better Air was always responsive. Thanks so much and we will definitely use for all our future heating and cooling needs!
Fantastic experience! They came out quickly and gave us a ton of options for AC/heat and explained the pros and cons in great detail. They were able to come the following week and installed within a couple of days. The crew were fantastic and worked an extra long day to have the heat ready since we had a baby. Definitely will use them again in the future.
Better Air NW came out to clean our air ducts and did a wonderful job. The technician, Adam, was polite and respectful of our home yet very thorough with his work. Something we had wanted to get done for a while and glad we chose Better Air NW and Adam for the job.
We worked with Better Air NW to replace our 25+ old furnace with a new high efficiency one and add Central AC. Overall we had a great experience working with them. They have access to some of the best brands out there and provided the most competitive pricing. The entire team was so professional, reliable and accommodating. Clear communications and up front with all the facts/details. Our installation was on the difficult side, considering they had to deal with some preexisting complications. But the team handled all of that in the most efficient way while accommodating everything we asked for. They make sure that there is no compromise in terms of conducting a quality work. Can't recommend Better Air NW enough and will definitely hire again for future works.
Better Air NW was delightful to work with. They were able to diagnose and resolve my problem quickly, where I had already consulted multiple other businesses including the original installers with no success. They were kind and accommodating. I will absolutely use them again and refer them to friends.
