I first met Alberto and Ward while looking for a new A/C contractor for my church last year. They helped us get a number of systems diagnosed and running right. There was never any upsell, and they have always repaired our systems in the most cost effective manner possible. They have performed way over the standard set by our previous contractor . They have also replaced three systems for us (one a 20 ton!)- one that was no longer repairable and two 22 year old systems that were exhibiting signs of not being able to keep up with heat load that I made a decision to replace. For all replacements Alberto researched and found the most cost effective solution, and way undercut the alternatives proposed by other contractors. Most importantly, they know what they are doing. I have been so pleased with them at the church that I decided to use them at my home. Called them because the defrost cycle on my 5 ton heat pump was not working properly and the fan motor was excessively loud. Josh came out and diagnosed the problems. But instead of just fixing the problems (which would not have been cheap) he suggested I might want to consider replacing the unit due to signs that the compressor was beginning to fail. He didn’t just tell me this; he took the time to show me the actual current draws and compare them to the rated values so that I could assure myself that this was a real issue and not just an attempt to sell equipment. Then Alberto went to work and found me a new unit with a ten year parts and two year labor warranty for thousands less than I had been quoted to replace this system two years ago. I gave them the go ahead and two days later a crew of four guys showed up to do the install (Ward, Josh, Jake, and Ramon) and got to work. It was not an easy job as our attic access is only a 2 foot square hatch in a ten foot high ceiling, part of which was obstructed by a vent pipe that the idiots who built the house ran across the top of the opening and which I have struggled
Best Tex is the best ac company. A rep, Jake Perry, came out and checked on a problem we were experiencing. While repairing our problem, he noticed that the install of our unit at the time (done by someone we trusted) was done poorly and in fact very dangerous and unsafe. He suggested we get a new unit inside and outside as our outside unit had freon that is now obsolete. We were so worried because the holidays are around the corner and money is just not what it used to be with this economy. Jake told us not to worry, Best Tex offered financing. We took advantage of this wonderful option and in less than 24hrs of Jake being at our house the 1st time, a team of 3 brilliant and extremely knowledgeable men came and installed everything and got us up and running with heat and ac. We cannot thank them enough. Wonderful company, highly recommend.
We were very pleased with this company on our AC install. We used our home warranty company and this company was dispatched. They showed up on time and we’re very helpful and professional. Our condenser wasn’t able to be repaired so a whole new system was installed. The new system was installed within a week of the warranty company approving our claim. They even brought a portable room AC and set it up for us to use until our new one came in and was installed. They showed up on time and began working immediately, everything was up and running, area cleaned up and any questions we had were answered within four hours. We will definitely call them again if/when needed. Denise was so helpful and gave me updates during the week before install day. Great company and we highly recommend them. Thanks guys!!
Our AC/Heater went out , I was at a loss in what to do and who to call . I called Best Tex and Albert was out the next day . Albert and Denise explained to myself and my Mom what the issues were and what was recommended. It was the weekend when this happened and by Tuesday Albert and his crew were there with a new unit to install . I’m VERY happy with his work and especially how honest and easy they made this for us . I would recommend anyone having any ac/heating issues to call them ! Great service and Great people !!! We received multiple quotes from different companies that came out. This was by far the best rate they were very polite and professional. They gave helpful tips. I seriously can’t complain and highly recommend them.
Albert helped us multiple times and he is by far the most professional HVAC technician we’ve come across. He always makes sure he tells us what he is doing and why. He always explains why he does things and goes into depth to help us understand why things are necessary. Albert also goes out of his way to give us the best option for our ac needs. No BS for sure. You will not regret using Best Tex.
EXCELLENT service provided! Our air conditioner went out and we contacted our home warranty to schedule a repair. The home warranty selected Best Tex A.C. Professionals to be the service provider. Alberto Gomez, the service technician provided the service and told us that because this was a home warranty repair he had to just replace the part that failed and told us he was not sure how long it would last since this is an old system and not all parts are available. Shortly after the repair, the unit failed again so Alberto with Best Tex A.C. Professionals came out again and was unable to repair the unit. Alberto tirelessly worked with our home warranty company to get approval to replace the outside unit. His efforts paid off and we were approved for a new unit! Denise, the office manager provided outstanding communications providing fast replies to our questions and follow up on any task that needed to be completed. Once the new unit was available for pick up, Alberto schedule the installation date with us. To be honest, it is central Texas in the middle of the summer and we would have scheduled the installation at night if that would have helped. To be proactive and reduce time on the install date, Alberto came out on Sunday afternoon to complete some pre-work. This REALLY expedited the installation the following day. On the day of install Alberto arrived August 30 promptly as scheduled and began the install which included the outside unit and the inside unit. Once the install was completed he cleaned up ALL of the installation debris, boxes, and trash that was created during the installation. We are very happy with the results of Alberto’s work, impressed with his high level of customer service, and thankful he worked hard to get the installation completed quickly and efficiently. Ahhhh, that cold air feels GOOD! We highly recommend Best Tex A.C. Professionals! Alberto and Denise provided EXCELLENT service all the way around.
