After a bad experience with Plumbtree yesterday for an emergency water heater problem, we called BFP at the advice of a friend. What I thought was a $50 job turned out to be in the multiple thousands and I didn't want to get ripped off. From intake through follow up communication through service, it was clear we were getting respect as a customer. Wayne made sure we knew where all the costs were going, why things were priced as they were, etc. When it came time to make decisions, he explained my options to me clearly and provided pros/cons of both. Overall he was very trustworthy and professional. Time will tell of course but this feels like one of those "you get what you pay for" situations and I will be able to count on BFP to make sure we're taken care of from now on.

Wayne Keeling from Benjamin Franklin was amazing. He showed at the door with a friendly greeting, put booties on before walking into my house and listened to me without dismissing my concern. He then preformed his job and even spent the time to educate me on information and showed me via the camera lens were the problem was. He also kept the area he worked in clean. Martin, Manuel, and Edgar each contributed to our plumbing adventures this week. We had a very old water heater that began leaking, so we knew it had to be replaced. On top of that repair, we detected a gas smell coming from pipes behind our stove and back of adjacent cabinet. The leak was verified by PG&E, who turned off our gas until the leak, and any others in the house could be identified and repaired. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was prompt in their response for all projects, each technician was very knowledgeable and detail-oriented, and we will definitely call on them for any future plumbing needs.

I called Ben Franklin Plumbing with an emergency. They responded immediately. Efren arrived and assessed the problem. He gave me a fair estimate and proceeded to fix the problem. He was done in no time. I would not hesitate to use them again, and they will be my "go to" plumbers going forward.
Quick, (1.5 hr on pull and replace), good on details, friendly. Cleaned up well after installation of new water heater. Explained all options on repair vs replace and warranty and maintenance needs. Not cheap but a good value over 10 years life expectancy.
