5* I contacted Edwin on the 3rd regarding the a/c issue. He responded to me in a second and he answered the questions that I had and able to schedule me on the 5th (off on the 4th) he came on time & explained what needed to be done and how much would it cost. luckily it was not a huge issue, he able to fix it in 15mins. we are so happy to feel the cold air in the hot day! Thanks to Edwin able to “rescue” us. Now he is on my list to call if I/friends need help.

Edwin at Bear Mechanical installed our HVAC system with no problems. A year later something wasn't working. He came quickly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed it under our warranty. Good team.

I can't say enough about my experience with Edwin! We had a furnace that was not functioning out in Oakland. He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a very reasonable price to repair. The part had to be ordered, but he came out the day it arrived & installed the necessary part. He also replaced the filter free of charge. Heat is back up and running and the entire process couldn't have been smoother. Highly recommend!
Bear Mechanical is a great hvac vendor. They arrived on time, explained the work, vacuumed inside the furnace and adjusted the pressure reading to spec. We would use them again.

Edwin and his team did a great job! They came by quickly to assess our furnace and give us an estimate for replacement or repair. They sent us detailed information about the furnace products they offer. Their price was competitive with the other companies we spoke to. They have been kind and professional and communicative throughout the project and were willing to work around our schedule. Our new furnace works great and we love it.
We were happy with the service provided by bear mechanic. Thank you Could get same day appointment with in few hours to troubleshoot the heater issue and fix the issue on a cold winter day where in other companies were giving appointment after 2 days or a week We will get their help in future for any other repair services
I am so happy we decided to go with Bear Mechanical. An acquaintance who works in HVAC as well highly recommended Bear Mechanical to us. We recently bought a home with an older furnace, dirty ducts, old thermostat, and a small gas leak. Edwin was extremely informative when he came to do a walk through and prepare a quote. We had an issue with the gas line leading to the furnace and they were able to repair it, as well as do all of the other work in under the amount of time they had originally quoted. We got daily updates on the work completed and photos of the work. They were even kind enough to bring in the packages on our front porch that had been delivered while they were there testing the furnace. Cannot recommend them more!
Edwin was great. He was very informative and concise. The furnace install was quick, and he even worked with me to ensure the new thermostat I purchased weeks after the install was working properly.
I am so impressed with Bear Mechanical. I called with a heating breakdown and they were sympathetic and immediately responsive. They located a part, called me back with confirmation, and fit me into their very full schedule. Edwin was very kind, helpful and a pleasure to work with. Definitely will use them whenever I have the need for their excellent service.
Bear was amazing! They installed both a heater and a/c at my house in Pinole. They were incredibly patient and helpful while I navigated my community's HOA. They were extremely responsive to my emails... provided various cost options... communicated very clearly... always professional... estimates in writing were very clear... always on-time... hard working... They took very good care of my house. I completely trusted them when I couldn't be home. One of the best contractors I've ever hired!

My Air conditioning system went out during this unusual heat wave in the Bay Area. I contacted several companies desperately looking for service. Out of the 4 companies that I contacted, 3 called back and could not come by for an inspection until the following week. 1 company was able to come the same day. However, technician insisted that I needed a new system. I was surprised to hear that as the unit is about 15 years old. I contacted my Real Estate agent for a possible recommendation, so he put me in contact with Edwin with Bear Mechanical. He came out that afternoon. He was very professional and fixed the unit that same day at a very minimal cost. I definitely recommend them!!!
