Barry from Bear Creek Heating and Air had the difficult job of coming to our home to inspect and evaluate work that had been poorly done by a prior company.. He documented all of the outstanding issues and handled communications with our home warranty company in a timely manner. He showed up as scheduled, worked efficiently, and made certain the job was finally completed correctly. Valerie from their office was also a pleasure to work with. She was always courteous and returned calls as promised. Based on our experiences with Bear Creek Heating and Air, I would highly recommend this company.
I have used Bear Creek three times now and have never been let down. We had them replace our pool spa heater and it was done fast and works perfectly. They have done our AC as well and let me tell ya, I’m cold right now and it’s 100 out! Highly recommended
Bear Creek Heating & Air did a great job today on my A/C service. I live in Temecula. Barry was polite, professional, and spent the extra time that most don’t to explain all that he was doing. I highly recommend everyone to have your a/c inspected before summer so it does not break on you on a hot day. One of my units needed coolant, and he did it at a great price right then. I really am happy with this company. It is hard to find good customer service, especially with HVAC, I will go to Bear Creek for all of my heating and air indefinitely.
Bear Creek Heating and Air are our go to HVAC vendor. Barry and Valerie are a pleasure to work with. As a property manager it is important for us to have vendors that do quality work and are reliable. Bear Creek has always exceeded our expectations.
We highly recommend Bear Creek Heating & Air. They came out through Fidelity Home Warranty and fixed our issue with our AC. They were even able to come out sooner than our scheduled appointment which was great considering we've been having hot days. The technician had the parts and made the repair quickly and efficiently. If you are in the Murrieta/ Temecula area these guys are a great option!
I've had Bear Creek fix my AC and washer. They are always on time, honest and communication is on point. Valerie in the office is always professional and courtious, Barry fixed both my issues. He is knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the issue and how it was resolved.
Barry has been very professional and helpful. He was also very courteous and respectful. Extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain in detail what the issue was and how he was going to fix it. We also appreciated that we did not have to ask him to wear a facemask and he also came with foot coverings. Great service during this pandemic.
Check out the reviews and pass on this contractor unless you want to get cheated out of money. Guy gave an attitude when I asked kindly if he would mind wearing shoe covers becouse new carpet was just installed in my home.
Berry the owner of this business showed up to inspect my AC and was a total weirdo. Never had a service technician say I’m recording video and audio inside my own home. This guy is a creep enjoy your service fee for doing nothing and giving zero information or resolution to the problem.
They are prompt & on time. I have worked with them before in the past and they are always knowledgeable, friendly and professional...would highly recommend!
Barry was relentless in getting to the bottom of our HVAC issue. He had to "catch it in the act" but when I called right at the end of business hours, he came over and was able to figure out the problem. Great customer service and very knowledgable in his field.
Barry has always been utterly professional. He has repaired our AC and thermostat with quality parts, in a timely manner, and takes the time to explain exactly what is wrong and what he will do to fix it. He saved us on several occasions (repairing our AC during a heatwave, and replacing our thermostat during a cold snap) and I highly recommend him.
Barry came to fix my air conditioner under a home warranty. He got right to it, answered all my questions and got me up and running. I would definitely call and ask them back again.
Bear Creek is number one. Barry is extremely knowledgeable at the same time honest and fair. I will be using his services for all our appliances needs.
Charged us a service call fee to take a look at a flip house in Lake Elsinore to get the AC up and running for inspection. They came back with a laundry list of items that needed to be fixed in order to make the system functional with a hefty bill and few day wait to get the work completed. Something didn't sound right so we send out another local AC company for a 2nd opinion, no service call fee and the unit was up and functional for under $150.00 the same day. Passed inspection with a breeze.
Absolutely horrible service from Barry !!! Lazy to say the least .. do yourself a favor and call someone else ! He lied and scammed me out of about 75 $ in a matter of minutes ... way to go Barry ...

This is in response to Mr. Poland's review. He unfortunately could not be serviced as originally planned. He had scheduled his appointment at a time he said he would meet with us. Then, the day before, on confirmation, he told us he could not be there, but gave us the access code to his vacation home. While in route to the home, he called us to say the carpets had just been cleaned and told us to take off shoes. Our secretary told him since we would most likely be going into his attic and using a ladder, we could not do that, but would wear boot covers to protect his floors. His response was that "if there were any stains on his carpet, we'd be hearing from him". At that point, we contacted his home warranty company who called him on a 3 way conversation to discuss the need for someone to physically meet with us, since he was now threatening us regarding the state of his carpet, (that we believe he had not even seen himself since the cleaners were out). Both our company and his home warranty company treated him with respect, but a resolution could not be found since he hung up on all of us. We strive to please all customers, but unfortunately in this case, we could not provide service to someone that was going to leave access, but then threaten us with the condition of his home before we arrived. That would have left us in a potentially worse position than asking him to reschedule when someone could meet us.
Difficult to deal with, requires baby-sitting. Cancelled on me at the last minute because I asked them not to wear shoes in the house after the carpet was just cleaned. The home is a vacant second home, I had given them the access code, but the day of service Bear Creek decided I needed to be there so I would not accuse them of staining my carpet. They really left me in a pickle 2 days before I am having a wake for a family member at the house. There are many other options for HVAC contractors out there, I would suggest a different one.
