Rich's stopped servicing the brand of gas fireplace we bought years ago but they were kind enough to recommend Bayside heating. Griffin is a one man show so you know exactly who you're getting: a skilled, knowledgeable technician who can fix just about anything HVAC related and do it for a reasonable fee.
Griffin saved my gas fireplace, I was getting ready to move in 3 weeks and couldn't afford a new fireplace. Other repair places refused to work on it because it was old Built 28 years ago.This young man knew exactly what he was doing was so knowledgeable and courteous. Even came back in a couple days because he wanted to make sure it was running properly and Safely he adjusted a few things and made it even better! Highly recommend using this business For all your fireplace needs. I will use him in the future to install a propane fireplace at my new home.
Our 20 year old gas fireplace stopped working and we had been told by two other repair companies that it was the gas valve and that it could not be fixed or replaced and we would have to replace it. It is a see through fireplace and would entail substantial construction and cost $12k to $15k to replace. Thank goodness we called Griffin at Bayside Heating & Air and got a third opinion! He easily replaced the faulty valve and a bad thermocoupler, cleaned it up beautifully and checked everything out and it has been working beautifully for 3 weeks now. We had him back the following week for our annual check up and maintenance of our heat pump and will have him back early summer to do a check & maintenance of our A/C. Terrific young man building a great business!
