Ben not only followed up playing phone tag, he squeezed us in during a very hot and bust time. He did a clean thorough job. He did not rush and explained everything!!! I knew he had a full day and he still took the time. 5 star service!!! Thank you Ben.
The owner of this place is amazing! After calling a few places before and being told no one could fix my ac unit unless I waited 2 weeks I called Barnell Heating and Air and told him my ac unit wasnt working and he was nice enough to come that day to fix it! That’s an owner that truely cares about not just his business but also his customers! Now we have ac! Thank you so much!
Barnell Heating and Air is amazing. Ben, the owner, took my call during his lunch break, told me they (his crew) was booked for three weeks, but he would be happy to stop by within the hour and take a look to see if he could do anything to help. He looked, AND he fixed it!! Quick, efficient, reliable and affordable. Did I also mention, friendly? Yes. A friendly and professional local, small Lake County business, From here forward, I will contact Barnell for all my Heating and Air service needs for my home and my rental houses. Barnell Heating and Air is the first to call!
I called Ben after receiving a quote from a competitor. regarding my heater not working. The competitor told me my compressor was dead and I needed a whole new system for $8200. Ben and his technician came out to my house and diagnosed the problem as a faulty compacitor, saving me about $8000. I will definitely use Barnell Heating and Air for future maintenance.
These guys came out and did a very good job at diagnosing and repairing our HVAC unit quickly and efficiently. And to top it all off. The price was not anywhere near what I thought it would be. They come highly recommended for any residential HVAC needs.

Ben and his staff are prompt, efficient and professional. I went an entire season without air conditioning in Lake County due to the unprofessionalism of another company which swindled me and misdiagnosed my issues. Ben Barnell went above and beyond what I expected and my family and I are immensely grateful for our restored AC.

Cannot praise Barnell heating and air enough! Had another company come out and charge me $170.00 just to tell me my HVAC unit was broken and it would be 10,000k to replace. For weeks we were in a cold house. Benjamin and another gentleman came out and I was greeted with professionalism, compassion and integrity. As it turns out issue was completely fixable and for around 1/20th of the other “big company in Clearlake” told me it would be. Other company was only interested in making commission off the sale of a new unit as a disabled grandfather on a fixed income with a small child in the house I will never go anywhere else or recommend anybody other than Barnell. I thank you for your and hard work most of all your honesty!
My house heater stopped working one evening. I called Barnell Heating and Air the next morning. 24 hours later, they came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and got my heater up running again. I would call them again if I had any issues with my heating and cooling system.
Crooks
I had Barnell Heating and AC come out to check my AC. They did a great job. Full maintenance, diagnosed a couple of problems and fixed them. Ben was good about going thru the problems and cost to fix, which was reasonable. Glad I chose them.
