I recently scheduled a regular maintenance appointment for my AC unit, but unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The service technician did not have a key for the locking cap on my unit, which prevented them from being able to service it. When I reached out to the initial installers for assistance, they confirmed that any ac tech experts/ co. would have keys. This was a complete waste of my time, as the technician was unable to complete the job.

I had scheduled an appointment with Baker brother electric. They were a no call no show I took the day off work missed out on doing what I needed to do waiting for them. Even sent them a reminder text in the morning. On their recorded message they claim that they know your time is valuable but they don't mean it. I was stood up when I sent a few more text messages to them completely ignore them. Later in the evening I called I was put on hold for 11 minutes then hung up on I called back and ask for a member of management never could get anyone. I was told that there was no appointment schedule and then later on they look and they actually see that an appointment was scheduled but never put down in the books.. The next morning I talked with a member management who was less than understanding all he could say is he apologizes and at 1st he stated I did not have an appointment and then I told Jeff I could send him the copy of my text and he recanted and said Oh we dropped the ball. You're asking me to call in your response. But as you can tell I already called and talked with Jeff which got me nowhere. Maybe you guys can call me you have my number on file thank you so much. looking forward to your call.

I tried to make an appointment, they were rude over the phone. When I explained what time I needed a repairman they said they could do that, then on the day they were supposed to show up, they said they couldn't come out

I used Baker Brothers recently for plumbing and I was a little hesitant, since I had two plumbing companies come out prior for my repair. I was very happy with how easy it was to get a person on the phone and schedule the appointment. The communication from the time I made my appointment to the time the technicians arrived was excellent. The technicians gave me a thorough explanation of what was wrong with pictures and gave me options to resolve. Once we decided to do the repairs, they spent all day working on the repairs. I also received more pictures of the repair work that was completed once they finished and I only paid once the repair work was completed to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, one of the connections broke loose during the night; however, I called early in the morning and they same tech came out the next day to fixt the connection and provided pictures of what failed and what was fixed. They tested the water pressure and connections one last time and I have had no issues. I think you get what you pay for and I was happy with the level of service I received for what I spent. I will use them again.

I had the company come out to give me an estimate on replacing my hot water heaters with a tankless system. They also came out to do a regular maintenance on my HVAC system. When doing the inspection they found that one of the vent pipes from my furnace was not seated correctly and venting into my attic. Obviously a serious concern, but they wanted $1,500 to fix the vent pipes. Even though only one pipe was unseated, they said they would only replace the pipes for both units, not just one. After they left I went up to take a look myself, and it took me about 10 minutes to re-seat the pipe correctly and screw it back together. Why that would cost $1,500 is beyond me. They also managed to come up with another $4,000 in repairs and maintenance to my system, even though it was only 1.5 years old and in perfect working condition. On top of this, when asking for my quote on a new tankless water heater, the price came out to just under $10,000. Considering that a new tankless water heater at Home Depot (top of the line) costs about $1,500, and assuming some additional costs of materials, that means they were going to charge me at least $8,000 for labor, which is astronomical for a one day job. On the upside the communication around the appointments was good, and the guys that showed up at the house were polite. But the prices this company tries to charge, and the unnecessary work that they suggest is out of hand. Please be careful when you get their suggestions for expensive repairs, they may not be needed.

My family used baker brothers to fix plumbing that had been damaged for 15 years. I really with we would’ve gone with someone else. They just put a bandaid on a problem and charged us an INSANE amount of money to not even really fix anything. They just diverted the plumbing instead of actually fixing the issue. We have a different family owned plumbing company coming out to tunnel and fix every bit of plumbing in this house for half of what baker brothers charged. This company is in the business of making money and that is their main focus. They don’t seem to truly care about their customers.

Had an HVAC problem and called Baker Brothers. They never showed up on the date we had scheduled and I had to reschedule. They came out and fixed the piece and 1 month later the same problem came back. They clearly didn’t fix the problem correctly. Scheduled another appointment and the technician never showed up AGAIN. They have a 100% on time policy but they can’t even show up on the correct day or fix the issues correctly. I was also a member of Baker Brothers throughout all this and this is still how they treated their customers. I canceled my membership and will not be using them again or recommending this company to anyone.

Advertised they are a 24/7 company. I called on Saturday 8/6 at 3p. It was a very TEXAS HOT 103° outside and 105° inside. My appointment could not be scheduled until 3p on Tues 08/08. When I mentioned the 24/7 on websight, YouTube & TV ads, she said that doesn't apply to weekends. I said never mind. Click bait maybe?????

Was on the highway and one of their trucks was on my tail and pressuring me/honking at me to speed up. I have kids and was going the speed limit. They then proceeded to speed up and go around me through the emergency shoulder, then cut me off badly. We almost crashed!!! I called their company and waited on the phone for over 15 minutes with no response. Very annoyed and genuinely concerned for others because this dude was recklessly driving!

Representative Conner was very professional, very competent and patient in explaining things while completing the job. Very helpful he definitely represents the company very well. Manager/Supervisor Josh also was helpful very easy to talk to and overall wanted to correct and ensure all AC filtration/UV system was and is operating correctly in our home. The system definitely works wonders and keeps sickness down in the home.

Initially, we planned to replace 3 faucets in our bathroom. They all are working great, just wear and tear signs on the cosmetic look. All faucets (current and replacement) are the same Delta model. We furnished our parts. Baker Brothers charged $771 for 3 installations. Because cost is high. We decided to replace only one faucet, and Baker Brothers charged $227 for the installation. Half way done, the technician told us that he has to run new plumbing lines, and additional cost is $281. Bait and Switch tactics. Now, final cost is over $518 for only one faucet installation. We have had Baker Brothers' services for the last few years. Mostly were drain clogs in the kitchen and bathroom. This service call described below caught us off guard. Updated 10/15/2021: We got a phone call from one guy, named Joe. He said $518 is a standard price to replace one faucet. He challenge any shop to match that price. What he could do is to refund us $50. We declined the $50 refund.

These people are nothing more than con artists taking advantage of senior citizens. Quoted me around $279 and when they were done is was about $800. At the very least deceptive trade practices and the most outright fraud. When I spoke with my neighbors they said Baker Bros has this reputation. I can't believe that integrity is so hard to come by these days. Don't believe the good reviews because many businesses buy those. You've been warned!!

A slow-moving leak developed at the pex tee fitting on the hot water outlet line. The hot water outlet line from the water heater to the fitting was copper, and the fitting to the rest of the house was PVC. The seal between the PVC and plastic was cracked. This was bound to happen given the age of the fitting (about 15 years), and the fact a polar vortex hit two months prior. I was tempted to fix it myself, but my fifteen-year-old Bradford White 40,000 BTU 50 Gallon water hear (Model No. MI5036FBN) was also on its last legs (heater struggled to keep water hot, hot water ran out quickly, water was cloudy), and the cold-water inlet valve was rusted shut. It was time to call in the pros, and I am glad that I did! I made a call at 7:00a in the morning on April 23, 2021. The dispatcher could not promise nor guarantee a time, other than the technician would come after 11:00a. However, dispatcher told me that the technician would text me about 30 minutes before arrival. Baker Brother's delivered. Julio Lara-Guerra the technician (along with another gentleman, cannot remember his name) arrived at 11:00a on the dot. Also, I received a text message 30 minutes before from the company. It included Julio's picture and brief bio. Julio was awesome. He replaced the old water heater, which was located on the second floor, with a RHEEM PRO+G50-40N RH62 40,000 BTU 50 Gallon water heater (which comes with a 12 year warranty). Not only that, Julio replumbed the cold-water inlet, and hot water outlet, complete with new valves and steel connectors, as well as replumbing the gas line, and replacing the drip pan. The old water heater was hauled away. All of this was done in about 90 minutes. I ended up paying $1,847 including tax.

These guys were a revelation for this type of service. I was literally shocked at how good AND affordable they were. I'm a consumer crumudgeon and research the hell out of things like this. Plus I have higher than average DIY Skills. BB were on time and kept me informed on their arrival. Once they arrived and we did our walk through Buddy gave me a fast precise and economically rational estimate for the work needed. I had them tackle 4 issues in a recently purchased home. They started immediately and had all materials needed in stock on their truck. The price was great and so was the workmanship and speed of execution. Baker Bros Price was a third of the estimate I got from another DFW metro area company. I can only assume the other company really didnt want the business based on the out of whack estimates they gave me. One of the jobs the competitor gave me was $1100 estimate to execute (install a new kitchen sink, replace water shutoff valves and install faucet on the sink) I ended up doing it myself. I had Baker Bros handle the more difficult jobs outside my DIY comfort zone. Their total bill for 4 items, one of which was many times more complex than a kitchen sink and faucet replacement was less than $1100. Other Company estimated north of $3K. Crazy difference between these 2 companies. ~Caveat Emptor I also signed up for Baker Bros annual maintenance plan which was half the same type plan at the first estimate company and it saved me 15% same day on the work they performed. Well worth the time spent to type this very verbose review😉☆☆☆☆☆

My review is only based on a response & estimate for repair only. Repairs have not began at this time. My home has a water leak that has damaging my flooring. The leak is in the foundation cement slab and leaks anytime that the water main is turned on. Naturally, this creates a since of urgency as we are without water until this is repaired. A priority was to get my insurance adjuster out & to get estimates of cost as quickly as possible. My call to Baker Brothers Plumbing for an estimate went very smooth. Daniel with Baker Brothers was dispatched to my home the next day. Daniel was very attentive, professional & knowledgeable. I received a written estimate from Daniel the same day. There was no charge for the visit or the estimate. Excellent so far.
