Prompt service. Exceptionally knowledgeable and highly professional techs fixed my central AC in under 45 minutes. Wonderful staff. Mary runs a great company.

I give a 5-star. Our heating system had an intermittent on and off problem. Called the office and set up the appointment. Mark came and fixed the problem. He warned us that the fix might be temporary, because the circuit board probably should be replaced. He wrote down the model number and told us to call when the problem came back, then he would order the part. As expected, it stopped working a couple of days later, called the office. Mark ordered the part overnight and came the next day to have the circuit board replaced, just before the weather got really cold. Since then the heating has been working well. I am glad that I found a reliable local HVAC service company.
Always so helpful and kind...lovely family business...they put in a new heating and AC system 4 years ago and have serviced it ever since!
We went with B&D to have our HVAC system installed and we would never consider calling anyone else. Price was fair, service was exceptional. These folks know what they're doing.
Installed and service my unit last 8 years. Always friendly and upfront about what they are doing and why. Very satisfied.
This company is sketchy as all get-out, and they totally hung me out to dry. They committed to buy a took kit that I had listed for sale on ebay, then they tried paying via a payment method that I did not accept. After that, I sent several messages asking them how they intended to complete the sale and tried to call several more times, but the phone always went to voicemail during business hours and no one responded. Finally, after five days of waiting, I received a "sorry for wasting your time" message with no intention of payment. Now, thanks to these clueless losers, I have to pursue cancellation to get my fees back. If these people don't have the common courtesy to honor their commitments and follow through on their purchases, or the decency to contact me in a timely manner, I certainly would not trust them with any other job.

I had a very similar experience to another reviewer here—I called to set up an appointment several times for a unit they had worked on previously with a prior tenant (commercial). The first time I called, the woman who answered said they wouldn’t come because the prior tenant owed them money. I sorted that out and call back to schedule it (I said I would pay the outstanding invoice). She said she’d call me back but never did. After several tries I was finally able to set up an appointment and called that morning to confirm and she said we weren’t on the schedule. She said she’d look into it and get back to me. She never did so I called again and was told “they don’t want to get involved in this job.” Horrible experience all around.
Called this company and talked to the woman who answered the phone, set up an appointment for 11 am to 1 Pm on a certain day, then I called to confirm, she stated it was too cold out to fix the central A/C, so we re-scheduled the appointment 2 days later when it would be warmer. I called to confirm, she said I was not on the schedule and did not have any idea when they could come out. Said they would call, they never did. I found another company: Addarios inc. from Woburn, MA 781-289-3536 who gave me a definite time and arrived on time, they cover all of MASS. They were able to fix my A/c on a cold day monday 6.5.17 about 52 degrees, and no flat fee of $99 just to show up. I will never use B & D! They did not say we have to charge $450 just to find a leak like other companies do.
My central A/C unit wasn't blowing cool air anymore so I searched around and called a few HVAC companies. The first company that came told me my condenser was toast and would need replacing. They gave me a verbal rough estimate of 3k to replace it with a formal quote to follow. Luckily, I got a second opinion and from B&D! Mike D. came out and was very friendly and professional. He found out exactly what was wrong and did a very thorough job fixing 4 problem areas to get my system back up and running for $551.50! It pays for second opinion and it pays to have someone who knows what they're doing. The price was reasonable and fair for what they did. My only feedback would be to provide some rough pricing ahead of time instead of doing all the work first and then hitting someone with the bill just in case you get backlash as there was never approval to do any of the work; it was just done. I obviously could have stopped him and asked how much he thought all the work was going to be before letting him proceed but I trusted Mike and I knew no matter what he fixed, it wasn't going to be anywhere close to 3k! I'd recommend B&D and will definitely have them service/maintain my central air unit.
