Do not be afraid to honestly post how this company treats customers after they get paid! Do not let their threats discourage you from speaking up! A heads up to anyone that did business with this company: the contract they have you sign after the fact contains a clause that violates The Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). "The CRFA protects people’s ability to share their honest opinions about a business’s products, services, or conduct, in any forum, including social media. Contracts that prohibit honest reviews, or threaten legal action over them, harm people" This is not a good company to work with, and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Awesome Air & Heat service were wonderful! Mark and Patty responded quickly when the exterior unit failed and were able to get us back to good very quickly. They provided a very detailed explanation and breakdown of costs and results, and were flexible on payment options. I recommend them to anyone in the greater Austin area who needs work done!
Had A/C problem, The thermostat is turned on (says Cool on) but there was not cool air and fan did not turn on either. Mark in Awesome Air helped solve the problem, The condensate pipe was blocked. He called me several times and sent me the video and picture instructions how to fix it. His instructions certainly worked. And he did not charge me anything. Thanks Mark!
I have used Awesome Air two times now. The first time was 9 years ago when my home system completely failed. Mark and team worked with me to find the best balance between what the size of my house needed and the size of my budget which was very, very small at that time in my life. They installed everything quickly and completely and I enjoyed an issue-free system for 9 years. This year during the heat waves of our relentless Texas summer, the outdoor unit stopped working. I called Awesome and was happy to hear that though they couldn't get to me that same day, they would be sure to come by and try to get me cooling the next day. Mark came as promised and within a couple of hours my house was cool! Turns out that it was some worn out wiring. The unit didn't even need any freon! I am so happy to have found a provider that offers great equipment and installation that lasts!!!!!! Thank you Mark, Peggy and Awesome Air and Heat!!!!
Awesome Air came out to give me a price quote on a new system and equipment. They took measurements and my email address and said that they will email me my price quote. Later that evening I received a fairly decently priced price quote. After we received 2 other bids from other A/C companies, we decided to go with Awesome Air. They gave me a free 5-year labor warranty and a 3-year service agreement at no additional charge. They came and put in my new air & heat system without a hitch. The crew was very nice, polite, and very clean. The old system was taken along with the trash. Our new system is running smoothly and my wife is a happy camper. Happy wife, happy life! I would highly recommend Awesome Air & Heat Service for any of your air & heat needs. My opinion nothing else will compare to Awesome Air.
Mark was very professional throughout the entire process. After the install process, the communication wire running to the Thermostat had shorted out and Mark immediately came over to investigate and found the issue. I called the electrician he recommended to install a new wire and Mark was gracious enough to foot the bill. I highly recommend Awesome Air and Heat for all your AC needs. George A.
We just had a new HVAC unit installed by Awesome Air and Heat, and the owners' Mark (quite the jovial personality) and Pattie, were an absolute pleasure to work with. The installation was done by their technician Daniel, who was prompt, neat, and took a lot of pride in his work. The entire crew kept us in the loop from quote to installation. We are delighted with the price and the quality of the installation.
We had a wonderful experience with Mark and his team! You can tell that Mark knows this business inside and out, and he is a hoot to talk to. One of our AC units stopped cooling and he was able to fix it! Sweet relief. He atook the time to give us some information about how to take care of our air conditioning units. As first time home owners, we have a lot to learn. We also had a weird mystery of two air-conditioning units but only one filter. We asked him to look at it because it didn’t make sense to us. He figured out the shoddy workmanship of whoever installed this. His team returned to correct what somebody else had done poorly. They also sealed some leaks and fixed some other subpar workmanship on the HVAC. We will definitely have Mark and his team out for maintenance going forward. Cannot recommend enough. He really worked hard and hustled for us. I can’t imagine how hard it is having to go up in 130° attics! He also heard the fan in one of our bathrooms and told us that we needed to clean it because it was running too loud. That’s just the kind of guy he is! He knows his stuff and he is willing to share his knowledge and make your life better. Hire them!
They installed my upstairs a/c unit in 2016 and did a fantastic job at a fair competitive price. When my second a/c unit located downstairs in my home stopped working recently, I contacted Mark again. Mark and Patty did a LOT of research and took a lot of measurements to find a unit that would fit into the ceiling where the existing non-working (and I think original to the home) unit was located. When he found one up north, he ordered it for me. He did all this work for a very fair price. When it was time to install the unit, Mark was there from beginning to end making sure his team did a great job which they did. Mark and Patty and their team are extremely professional, honest, great communicators, and fast. They make sure everything is done to their high standards and they made sure I was happy with how everything looked and worked at the end. Awesome Air is the best - don't waste your time looking anywhere else.

Awesome air installed a new downstairs HVAC systems in our house in 2020 just before Covid hit. The upstairs unit was replaced in 2019 by another company that did a fine job. For the downstairs system, we had the 2019 firm bid, another provider, and Awesome Air. Awesome Air responded with the best price and the most common sense and practical tweaks to the installation and did a great job. They were friendly (read jovial or fun), on-time, and did a great job. I recently had them out to service both systems with a check-up. They serviced both systems and replaced some parts gratis that were causing some minor leaks on the system they didn't install. Mark also gave some great pointers on upkeep and maintenance. I like working with local people that we can build a relationship with and I feel like we found that with Mark and Awesome Air. I've recommended them to several friends and co-workers confident they would service them in a manner to reflect well on my recommendation.
If anyone finds themselves in need of an air conditioning company or a new AC unit, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Awesome Air and Heat Service. We were seeking a company that specializes in Trane air conditioners (Consumer Reports consistently ranks Trane at the top for performance and reliability), and I found them through the Trane website. They ONLY have 5 star Google reviews, and LOTS of them! Mark and Patti gave us a great price when compared with another reputable Trane specialist in the area. Mark’s installation team did high quality work, and Mark is willing and able to explain the why behind EVERYTHING if you have questions (my husband and I always have plenty). Mark is knowledgeable and has decades of experience in the industry. He is worth consideration if you want a high quality unit with top notch installation at a fair price for something you value greatly (your comfort). His price is his price, but it’s fair, and we’re personally happy to pay our tradespeople what they are worth to do things we cannot. 🙂
Mark installed two systems two years ago. They have worked with no problems. The systems keep us more comfortable in the house with significantly less energy use. Mark did a 2 year checkup and the systems were operating within all specs. The only thing we are not 100% satisfied with is the Trane app is not as intuitive to set up and program as other WiFi thermostats.
Mark will be my go-to for anything HVAC related from now on. I have had a smattering of service providers in my years in Austin, but Mark is not only knowledgable and timely, but cool and honest. I have told everyine I talk to in the last week that I have "the guy" for any issues they may have. A call to Awesome Air & Heat Service is the right call. THANK YOU!
Awesome Air & Heat Service replaced my old heat pump recently and I’m very satisfied with their competitive price, high quality work, and professionalism. Mark and Pattie came in person to give free quote and answer any questions. My email questions were responded within a day. The installation involved replacing my old heat pump on the side of the house and the air handler in the attic. On the installation day, all the equipment was already at the site, the workers arrived on time, covered the floor of front door entrance and stairs, worked quickly and efficiently to completion, and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Awesome Air & Heat Service. Updated: Awesome Air was so great, I asked Mark to help correct problem on my other Trane heat pump installed 5 years earlier by a different vendor now out of business. Mark spent time finding and testing the Trane part before bringing it himself to my house on the scheduled work day. Completed the work with his crew in couple of hours and tested the system. The Trane part replaced was covered under limited warranty. Awesome Air came through once again with professionalism, high quality work and value. I am very satisfied and I highly recommend Awesome Air & Heat Service!
Awesome Air is nothing short of AWESOME! After experiencing an issue with one of my two Trane AC units under warranty, Awesome not only responded the same day I reported the issue to diagnose the problem, they managed to track down the necessary part and come back out the same day to install and test the part (working outside in the dark to get it done). The unit was back up and running - with new parts - within 8 hours of reporting the issue. Total cost - ZERO. Kudos to Awesome Air & Heat for providing a level of customer service that has all but disappeared from the industry these days!
Thanks to Awesome Air for quick diagnosis and replacement of our aged central air/heating system. Mark and Patti were helpful in their "made easier to understand" replacement unit/s recommendations, and payment options. The installation crew was courteous, skilled, and efficient. We got a great price with warranty. Now notice a definite improvement in indoor air quality. Highly recommended!

Explaining and educating us on our HVAC system. 2. Provided us with options & led us through the entire process of selecting a new system best suited for our home and budget. 3. Delivered what they promised!!!! every word! We used this company for over six years at our other home for service. Always honest and fair! We had our system installed by Awesome Air and have our services done with them. Recently had a blocked drain line and Mark got out to us within hours to resolve the issue at no cost! Would highly recommend them for new installs or serve work.
We highly recommend Awesome Air, Mark is very knowledgeable and fair. Our AC unit was 15 years old and the original builder unit. Mark has kept this unit going but it was time for a new one. Mark and Patti came out at 6:00pm, assessed the unit and we determined a new unit was the best solution. They gave us a quote to replace the AC and furnace as well as fix several problems with the original installation. The next morning at 8:00am the crew was here and had the new unit installed by 5:00pm. This unit was in the attic with a small access in a tight space. The original system did not have the correct return air size so they had to add return air vents. The crew even topped off the Freon in the other 2 units. When we have to replace the other systems we’re calling Awesome Air.
