I had a hotter-than-hell AC situation on a scorching Saturday. I reached out to Ascend for assistance. Marcus arrived shortly thereafter and efficiently resolved the issue with my AC. Not only was he friendly and punctual, but his services were also reasonably priced.
Ascend was awesome. I had other bids, and Ascend was definitely the better value. Marcus did not try to up-sell me. He actually recommended a mid-level carrier model. He came the day after I called and had his crew installing three days later (today). It’s all in and running. I am super happy with it. It cooled our home 5 degrees in under an hour. Our old system could never do that.

We moved into our house a few years ago and knew that we would likely need to replace the AC/Furnace fairly soon. Our furnace gave us trouble each winter and finally showed signs of being beyond repair during snowstorms in March. We have small children so the furnace going out was always stressful due to needing to make sure our kiddos stayed warm. We decided to take the leap and replace our furnace and air conditioner. I got 5 bids, sort of accidentally, and was very impressed by Ascend. Marcus is honest and straightforward, and in our first conversation it felt like he was the kind of service provider who is really invested in making sure his clients have a positive experience. He provided all of the options, explained the benefits of each option, and helped me learn about a subject I didnt know a lot about. His prices were very reasonable. The closest bid to Ascend's was $2000 more for the same level of equipment! We scheduled with them and the installers arrived when expected and were very thorough, making sure everything would be in good working order when they left. The installer was also very knowledgeable and answered questions I didn't even know I had. It's not fun to replace the furnace and AC but Ascend made the process much more manageable. I definitely recommend this company.
Marcus provided us with a very good estimate on our duct work install and moving some existing gas lines in our new home. When the day arrived for the work to begin, about 1 week later Marcus's crew called, showed up on time, were very professional, thorough, courteous and performed the work as we expected. We will use this company in the future and highly recommend them.
It’s been two weeks now since my 11 year old furnace died on me. I spent a very chilly few days while getting estimates and trying to find someone who I could trust. I was impressed by the very positive reviews that I found online for Ascend. My first conversation with Marcus on the phone gave me a lot of confidence that they were going to be the right choice. Everyone who quoted me recommended replacing it but the idea of replacing such a new furnace seemed very unreasonable to me at first. Marcus seemed to know the product quite a bit better than other people I spoke to and his advice made a lot of sense to me. He was able to schedule me in the day after I made my decision and his staff showed up right in time, were friendly and accommodating and 3 hours later (the furnace was in a nasty crawl space and it was snowing), I had HEAT again. Very happy with my experience with Ascend and I intend to use them for all of my maintenance and service needs going forward. I am adding my recommendation to all of the others. I feel lucky to have found them.
The price was fair, they were quick to install the furnace, excellent customer service, and they took the time to explain things to me. Great experience!
We had HVAC system 10 years past it’s expected life and decided it was time to replace before being forced to under not great circumstances. We had 3 other companies come by and all had good qualities. Marcus just had a very experienced and pragmatic approach that resonated with us. He was great at explaining the different options and the relative benefits and deficits. The efficiency options and rebates can be confusing but Marcus explained it all in a way that made sense and ultimately recommended a lower cost option that fit our circumstances. His installation team was professional and on-point. Where we had a messy looking situation going to our AC now looks nice and tidy. Great work all around.
Last year, one of the big-name local companies tried to convince my elderly mom that she needed thousands of dollars of repairs and/or brand new HVAC equipment. We made a call to Marcus at Ascend HVAC and he came by, free of charge and on his way home from work, to get a second opinion. Turned out only a simple fix was needed and those other guys were just trying to rip off a senior citizen. We were so grateful to find someone we could actually trust, whose employees are not on a commission and therefore have no incentive to make up problems so they can earn more money. Today we had Ascend come to our house to replace our old AC and furnace unit. Everything went smoothly, the installation folks were great. Then Marcus came by to make sure that we were satisfied with everything before he asked for payment. He even helped with tax credit and rebate information. We've been so pleased with Ascend after using just about every other local company around, we've found the HVAC company we can finally trust.
My AC died a week after I bought a house, which was an unpleasant surprise. I had 3-4 different HVAC companies come and bid on replacing the AC and the furnace as the furnace was in rough shape as well. Ascend came out quick and were very professional and helpful. They answered any follow up questions that came up while I was getting bids from other companies as well. They beat the other bids I received by quite a bit and were even offering better equipment. I was honestly a little concerned at first by just how much they beat out the other companies but I went with them and it has paid off. The system is running great and the employee who came out to install it was very kind and professional. I have already referred them to others because of how great a job they did and how quickly they got it done.
We are very pleased with the our new a/c unit and furnace!! They were professional and knowledgeable!! Our house has never felt this cold in the summer!! (And we have a tri-level that was never cold on the top level) So if you are looking for new unit give them a call!!
I shopped around for a new AC & Furnace. Had almost 15 quotes and ended up going with these guys. Very reasonable pricing for what you get. They did really good work and made sure everything was working perfectly before finishing up. One little thing was noticed a couple days after installation and within a couple hours after notifying them, they arrived back to fix the minor issue. Great guys and great company! Highly recommend these guys!
Marcus came out to give me a bid on replacing the original furnace and a 10 seer AC unit that was installed by previous owners of my house. After getting several bids from other companies, I felt like they were over charging for the same system. Price was much better with a quality Carrier system with the highest efficiency. They installers came out and were very professional and were very informative with their knowledge of the system. They spent the time to explain how to maintain and use the system. They enjoy what they do for a living by having such a great attitudes and personalities. Marcus came to check to make sure I was happy with the installation and made sure it was done correctly. With Marcus having over 24 years experience, it made me confident that I made the correct decision to go with Ascend HVAC. Thank you!!!

Ascend HVAC installed a new heating and air conditioning system in our home in South Jordan on March 21, 2022. Not only was the pricing up to my husbands high standards but the installers were exceptional. They worked quickly, were very careful removing the old equipment (cleaning it up before taking it upstairs and out of the house) and they immediately and happily donned masks when we requested it! Marcus came at the end of the job to make sure things were working properly and that we were happy. He was informative, patient and most importantly honest with us!! I would trust him anytime to replace or service our HVAC equipment and will with great enthusiasm recommended Ascend to everyone who asks!
Marcus and Shay were great to work with in getting a new furnace, A/C, humidifier, return vent, and new filter box installed in my home. The work looks great and everything is so much easier to access than the original install 20 years ago when the home was built. Quick to respond with getting a quote and follow up questions, and also quick to get the work done. Shay went over all the new equipment with me at the end of install. Marcus went over the rebates and tax credit with me when going over paperwork. Ascend had an ad in the Hometown Values magazine with a couple of deals that helped get the cost down, and for the higher efficiency equipment I was wanting they gave me the best quote of the six companies I got quotes from.
Marcus was easy to work with informative, friendly and efficient. He and his installation team were fantastic to work with. I called on Monday, 2/9/22 and within an hour Marcus was at our door to give us a quote. By the end of day Wednesday our new furnace and air conditioner were installed and running great. The prices were fair. I felt like he was very honest helping us to decide which units were needed and didn't try to oversell. I will definitely recommend Ascend HVAC to family and friends.

I went after Marc based on google reviews (Google messed up his company's reviews so it may show just a few now. But there were tons of 5 star reviews when I last time looked at them), and I am so glad I did. I got a high quality AC unit with a very reasonable price, unbeatable from any other bids. I got prompt responses with all my questions. On top of factory parts warranty, I have also 5 year labor warranty from Marc. What makes me happy the most is that, I never needed to bargain/negotiate with him. At the very first offer, I immediately knew that was the best!
