Easily the worst group of plumbers ever. Ryan Homes used them to install my plumbing. My house is a brand new build 27 months old, and I have water leaking through my ceiling from their poorly installed plumbing. What’s worse is that Ryan homes only covers plumbing for 24 mos, leaving me to deal with a massive problem because of their shoddy work that doesn’t even last 27 mos. Never use these guys.

These guys are amazing. As a single mom with two little boys, I got pretty freaked out when the drains stopped working on our new house five days into the move. Jake and Mike from AP came out as soon as I called (I pushed back calling to save on weekend fees, but it turns out they don’t charge extra for weekends!) and identified the problem quickly. The upfront pricing was a huge relief in helping me manage my budget, and the guys were thorough, extremely informed, and they kept me in the loop throughout the process. It should be mentioned that this service came with follow up care that was included in the price, and it allowed me to plan ahead for my home in regard to plumbing. On top of that, Jake and Mike came back on a service call when one of the drains wasn’t properly, solved the issue and also provided me with both short and long term options for any future issues that may come up in an older home. I couldn’t be more pleased and impressed with their customer service and professional capacity, and I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
They were here in 3 hrs, fairly priced and Chad was awesome. Highly recommend.
I woke up to no hot water, water in my basement and a non functioning sump pump. It is 5 pm and all is right with my world. Jason and his associate came in fixed the problem and then did something wonderful. He priced my water heater and waited to make sure everything was working correctly. They were around town plumbing and haven’t skipped a beat with the transition. You are so appreciated in this house.
My experience with Town Mechanical and AP Plumbing has been superb form start to finish. I had four estimates and Christopher Ukolowicz, the manager of the company was the only one that did all of the things on MY check off list when it comes to choosing a company. MY check off list is 1. Return my calls/emails PROMPTLY. Chris (the manager and furnace end) and Todd (the plumbing end) got back to me within the HOUR every single time, which were many and often..... our house is a fixer upper. 2. They must give me all of my options with sound RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVITY to back it up - They were fully knowledgeable and explained EVERYTHING to me. They answered EVERY question to my satisfaction and I had many questions. 3. They must be RESPECTUFUL when talking to me and coming to my home - they shook my hand, removed their shoes, listened with compassion and empathy to our situation, and checked in with me throughout the work to make sure they were doing things to my expectations and needs. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and said thank you to me and to have a nice rest of my day. 4. CHECK THEIR WORK UPON COMPLETION TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO BUGS IN THE SYSTEM. They are definitely a "measure twice, cut once" company and they double checked EVERYTHING. 5. DON'T TAKE ME FOR A RIDE $$$ - they gave me money saving options and made sure I both got what I wanted and they beat the competition in the estimates by good enough amount without sacrificing quality. I am very grateful to all of those in the company that took care of me and my family.

My hot water heater failed this morning and I had one installed for a reasonable price they did good work and it was done today !. My only grumble was they gave me a time frame between 10 and noon and they were here about 12:30 I am flying out of town tomorrow and the only water shut off to stop my leak shut off all my water house
Had them install an HRV and UV light to my HVAC. Did a nice job. They even redid the PVC piping for my water heater for free. I will recommend them.
I had a burst pipe in our garage replaced at the end of last November. When I turned the water back on this summer, water was spraying all over from the repaired line. I called to have them come back to fix it and was told that they would have to charge me $130 to look at it plus labor and parts to repair it again. I told them that the water was off to that line since the initial repair but it made no difference. They only guarantee their work for 30 days. I won't pay anyone twice to do the job that should have been done correctly the first time. I will never use this company again. They are rude on the phone and don't care to hear that they did a poor job. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
Wow. I checked this site for reviews prior to calling Around Town to get a quote on changing out a simple garbage disposal in our kitchen sink. I think I might have read, "We're sorry for ……" from the owner too many times. Hidden fees, scheduling issues, 'We'll work to make this right.....' Going to look for another plumber in the Cicero area. Thanks to all of you for your testimonials.
Had septic backup in basement. They came right over, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Professional crew that were polite and knowledgeable. I am recommending to all my family & friends. Great work today and thank you.

Made an appointment guy shows up 2 hours early when no one was home, tried to reschedule the following day but was told we are to busy and this was my fault. No attempt was made to accommodate me with them screwing up. My rating should be no stars .

Prices are fair and work is done quickly.. Quality and detail of the work all depends on who your technician is. The tech's who installed my new outside water spigots were great John and Jake, But the tech on 6/17/19 Cailen did not deliver on quality or detail when it cam to installing my new bathroom vanity. The vanity was not leveled the top was not centered and I had to remind him to use silicone when putting the top om the base. I will be reluctant to use around town for any future vanity installations.
I called late afternoon with a problem, spoke with Christina and at first it didn't look good. She asked me to give her an hour to find someone. To the minute she called back and said she found someone. Rick showed up and started trouble shooting. It was a simple fix but he didn't have the parts needed (turns out it was the drain tube from the dishwasher). Said he would order it and be back Monday @ 9. He was good to his word and actually was a few minutes early. Rick was friendly and professional and didn't make me feel I wasted his time. I would call him again with no worry
They honor there commitment to fixing plumbing correctly without excessive costs. Very pleased. Skilled workers. They are supposed to call you when they are in route... they didn't! This is what they need to work on.
