A/C went out after hours we called Brain and he came out. He’s very professional and very affordable. We been using him for 3 years and will continue using him. He’s our number one recommendation we give our family and friends.

Brian was Awesome!!! Was dealing with a really bad hvac company previously that would not be honest with us. Brian came and gave us a true evaluation and helped up SAME DAY. Very good pricing and great customer service. I finally have heat for this coming Winter.
Brian Ricker and his team installed a new AC system last spring. They were prompt and professional. One of the technicians even fixed my broken attic ladder. This fall when the furnace started kicking in the system wasn't heating the house evenly. Josh came out promptly and made some adjustments to fix the problem. We definitely recommend them for new installation and repairs.

It was hell getting Brian and his crew out to my house to just end up with members of his crew smoking in my attic and making fun of my handicapped children. I would not recommend this company to anyone it was very unprofessional and rude.his so called lead technician spend the whole time on her phone and was one of the ones smoking in my attic. Who know how many they have done this to. I tried to give this company a chance but will no longer
We were very pleased with the responsiveness, honesty and service from Applied Air! They accurately diagnosed our A/C issue and installed a fix at a reasonable rate. Technicians were courteous and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again!

We recently had one of our AC units go down in the middle of a Texas summer. Josh showed up the same day we called and requested service. Josh was extremely helpful and polite and made sure to explain everything that he was doing and what was wrong with our system. We were very pleased with the service we received and will definitely recommend Josh and Applied Air to anyone in need.
We came home from church today to find our upstairs A/C at 86* F and have family coming in town tonight. We called Brian Ricker with Applied Air Mechanical and he answered the phone at church and said he'd be with us within an hour or two. He texted when he was 30 minutes out and fixed our A/C (it was a busted capacitor) in less than 10 minutes. He was very friendly, knowledgable, affordable, prompt, and kind. We really appreciated him coming out on a Sunday during this insane heat wave -- but even more so because we have family coming in who will be sleeping upstairs, along with our young sons. Thank you, Brian and Applied Air Mechanical!
Called when my AC unit went out, Brian showed up later that night to repair it, making sure we had air that night instead of suffering thru the heat. Had to call when my heat would not come on, Brian show up again had it up and working in no time. He was also great in answering any and all our questions. Highly recommend Applied Air Mechanical!!
TLDR: Professional service with no BS or shifty sales tactics. I'm glad I was recommended Brian and I can whole hardly do the same for anyone with residential or small business HVAC needs. I called Brian because he is "the guy" in our neighborhood. Rave reviews from everyone in the neighborhood - and you can add me to that list. I've had a couple of bad experiences with "the big guys" and even those who claim to be faith-based trying to take me for a ride - but I picked up nothing but professionalism and a desire for his clients to have the best running system at the best value. Instead of trying to upsell me on a new compressor or capacitor that really didn't need (I had called them in because of some odd noises our heat pump was making), Brian gave me a quick education on how heat pumps perform in Texas, as well as tips and tricks on how to get the most out of my system in the winter and the summer. He knocked out standard system, tune up and I completely confident rolling into this upcoming summer because I KNOW "I gotta guy."
Brian texted me in response to a quote request very quickly as our heater stopped pushing warm air during one of the coldest times of the year. As soon as I let him know we'd like to have a tech come, he said he'd be there within the hour. He was right on time and it turned out that it was as simple as our thermostat being misconfigured (I was the one that originally installed it so it was my fault). He let me know about emergency heat settings and that my thermostat wasn't set up for it, so he fixed our problem with a few changes to our thermostat. It was a very fair price and it's been working perfectly ever since! I appreciate him explaining the changes he made and I never once felt like I was being ripped off. Very professional service!
Installed new AC unit in my home I'm the summer as we moved in. Fantastic job!
The owner is super nice, however, I was not impressed by the work. The person Applied Mech subcontracted the work did a terrible job installing the air handler. The front panel has to be removed to get to the shutoff breakers since they were placed in the wrong location (not at the breaker window). Also found out later that emergency heat strips were never installed. Owner said the heat strips weren’t necessary. Didn’t we just have a terrible winter?! The air handler leaked condensation water (not related to the collection tray and is an Amana problem) and the issue was never resolved. They didn’t call the manufacturer for help. I just expected a little more after spending $10k for indoor and outdoor units. It wasn’t any cheaper than any other company, in fact more expensive to also get the heat strips installed.
My AC died about a month ago. They made it out within 20 minutes and it's been working great ever since!
Brian and his crew were amazing. Texas heat with an ac not working well was miserable. Him and his crew were very polite, kind, and professional. I hope to not need them for a long time, but they would be my #1 choice for any HVAC needs.

Can't recommend Brian and Applied Air Mechanical enough. I called after-hours and Brian was on his way within the hour and had the issue resolved within one additional hour. A very fair parts and labor rate (even after-hours) and he had us back up and cooling off within an hour of arrival. Good, honest, and trustworthy guys like this are very hard to come by these days....thanks a ton, Brian and Applied Air Mechanical!
