WOW! What a life saver. Derrick arrived at the exact time he promised and worked to service our EMERGENCY A/C UNIT issue until he was satisfied. In this June Texas heat, it is completely unsafe to be in a house with no A/C! A referral is the best compliment. Thank you Derrick!
This is not a serious business. It is a scam. Literally. We paid this guy $439 to replace the motor damper on the AC/Heater unit and to do a summer maintenance on it. Turns out the motor damper was NEVER replaced. Imagine! The maintenance was never done either. The unit started malfunctioning from the day they did the "replacement". They came back and said the unit needed 3 pounds of freon that they supposedly added. Once I got another technician to come and look at the unit, he said the motor damper was old and even had rust on it. So they never replaced it. He also said if a unit needs 3 pounds of freon there is definitely a leak on the unit and a big one... which Derrick or his technician never even mentioned the word "leak" after the maintenance or even after supposedly adding the 3 pounds of freon. And there is more to the story... Derrick told me AFTER THE FACT that our unit originally had two motor dampers but they decided to "save us money", without consulting us of couse, by converting the unit to a one motor unit... which is probably what caused all the issues that came afterwards. This is not a serious business. Derrick pretented he fired his technician that worked on our unit after I told him that another technician found out that the motor was never replaced. He also said he would reimburse me the money I paid and it has been a 2 weeks chase with excuses, not answering calls or replying to texts. At this point I am about to take it to court because this is just too much and unbelievable. I have never seen this level of dishonesty in my life. It's pitiful to do business this way and a shame for all the honest and hardworking people out there trying to do their job right. There should be a zero star option. This business does not even deserve a single star.
My air went out and Andy with Bohannon Service Company diagnosed the problem within eight minutes. When he told me the news I knew that I would not be able to get air. I do not know what happened between that Saturday and Monday but Mr. Bohannon contacted me and stated he was going to help me. He did not sugar coat anything and I after I did my own research (I am a BIG researcher on EVERYTHING) I found out that he was not pulling anything over me. We discussed some options and after deciding the right one three days later my family and I now have air. He is a very direct man but once you talk to him he is not rude. He and Andy were very knowledgeable. It was hot and in the middle of the afternoon and Andy did not stop until it was install. At the end of the day the service that BSC provided made my family smile
Beware...This company tried to say that my heating system couldn’t be repaired and needed to be completely replaced. The owner said he would “cut me a deal” for $1500. I had another company come out and I showed them the service order that Bohannon left with the findings which said that the system was cracked and beyond repair. The second company thoroughly checked using a tool with camera but found no crack. They even allowed me to see the camera screen as they checked so that I could see there was no crack. My system was repaired after replacing a small part that was needed and only cost $150 for part and labor. I am convinced Bohannon was trying to “make a sale.” I would not trust them. In response to your response: 1. Please don’t imply that I was supposed to pay a service call. You also were sent out by my home warranty because they wanted a second opinion. They said I wasn’t required to pay another service call cause I had paid for the first one. 2. I didn’t say the system was cracked. I’m not a technician so I also didn’t insist it needed to be replaced. Your technician said it was cracked and he noted it as such in the work order. 3. I’m just grateful that I was able to find someone that diagnosed the problem correctly and since then my heater has been working great.
Wow. Relocated to the area and had never used Bohannon. We found him online and could not have been more pleased with Bohannon Service Company! Made quick contact, gave a fair estimate, completed the work on time as promised. Thank you, and would hire again! Sincerely, Warren.
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!! After installing a new unit in my house the unit didn't work. The worker walked off the job. The next day another worker couldn't properly install the unit. The 3rd day we had air, but water leaked for 2 days, had to turn unit off. it was installed improperly. It took a total of 4 days to get the unit to work properly. Approximately 4 weeks later, still having water leaks, have to turn new unit off. Yesterday owner blamed us for unit freezing and leaking..said it happened because a few vents were closed & dampening system was going out. Owner make excuses...don't have good help/short handed/small company. Owner said we need to buy more parts from them. We had to hire new AC company. AC company said bump installed incorrectly which causes leaks, etc. There are more problems from the unit being installed improperly!!!! AGAIN... DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I FEEL THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, OWNER ISN'T ANY BETTER. DUMB ASS AC PEOPLE!!
