Never again. Called to schedule just a yearly maintenance not once, but twice. Both times was told they would call before they are on their way. Never heard from them again. When Jerry was there, he took fantastic care of us. I have found out he has retired and unfortunately things change..... and definitely for the worst,
I’ve used this company multiple times and they’ve always been courteous, prompt, and fixed the issue. They even had to clean up another companies mess up and explained everything to me the entire step of the way. I’d definitely recommend them again!

Very honest and reliable ac technicians. I was very pleased with the detailing of the repairs made as not only were they done in a timely manner I was also given the knowledge of the repair and tips on preventing any other issues. American Home is the way to go!
The Tech who came out had no idea what was wrong spent over an hour fiddling with wired then said “I don’t know what’s wrong” but still charged me $85. I will never call them again or recommend them.
Tim is the best. He's been helping us out for over 6 years now and he treats you like you're a friend or family member. Hands down great guy and works a job with the utmost integrity every time.

Let me tell you how great it was to do business with this company. They installed a new Lennox a/c unit with heat pump in my house. After the first day, the air wasn’t cooling. I called. Jerry, the owner, and his sons, came out right away and stayed with me until they figured out the problem. Tim even cut an extra return vent for us. Finally figured out the problem was a bad compressor in the NEW unit. Not a problem though. They called the manufacturer, got a new unit, and installed it the next day. A lot of companies would quit answering the phone. These guys stayed right with me until everything was taken care of the right way. Everybody has a problem eventually, but they kept with me until all the problem was fixed! A+
I asked them to check over and tune up my unit. I was charged 85.00 for less than ten minutes where the guy walked in, waved his hand in the air and declared that it felt cool in there. Then after a phone call to me, he waved his hand in front of the vent and said once again that it felt cool. A quick trip to my outside unit and he decided that I didn't need freon. Two different times I was told that the son would be calling after I expressed my displeasure. Never received a call. They were more concerned how they were going to get paid then anything else.

I just got charged $85 for 5 minutes of work. A technician came out, checked the freon (which was fine) and then just said the outside unit was dirty. He used my water hose to clean the outside of it and left. I don't have a problem with a charge, but there could be such a thing as discretion on whether to charge for a visit or not when it's something as simple as that. I guess I should've tried to to look into "fixing" it (a.k.a. hosing it down) myself before calling someone else.
American Home Heating has been our Heating and A/C contact for several years. They are prompt, courteous, honest, and do a great job. We would not consider using another company.
