I have used American design Air for over 20 years. Terry has always been great. The guys that come out when needed are fantastic. I can call anytime that I need to, Terry makes sure things are always taken care of. Great Company! Wouldn't have any one else for my account needs.

My call was answered by a friendly and knowledgeable person who took my information, the call was returned within minutes and technicians were dispatched to our home within the hour.
Installed new ac 1 yr ago have had problems with leaks and they could not fix. Unreliable say they will come and do not show up. Owner yelled at me not respectful at all
Hadn't installed that at my house. Three prices great service everyone is very professional

I have had two EXCEPTIONAL experiences with Terry and Am Design Air. The first was just before Christmas and on a Friday. My tenants HVAC was out and the temperature rising. After talking to another company who told me it would take 2 weeks to get the part - a coil, I called Terry. He was very receptive to my needs and was very quick to respond and check out the unit. He said he could get the coil by the following Monday (3days). He recharged the unit so my tenant had AC over the weekend and installed the coil on Monday as promised. His price was significantly lower than the competitor. Quick to respond and great pricing. The second occasion was more recent and the coil and wires of the HVAC system were bad and wires burned. He came from St Pete to Clearwater Beach with a short period of time and repaired it in the same manner. Responsive, polite and great pricing. I highly recommend Terry and this company.
Bad reviews aren't always a reflection of the company. Sometimes some people are never happy. I am a contractor and know this first hand. I have used Terry and ADA several times now. Terry has always been on top of scheduling and making sure I was satisfied with service. Not to mention when the guys come out they're on time and do the work as discussed. I have older equipment and not once have they pushed to sell me new equipment just keep fixing what's wrong. I will call them back everytime I need ac work.
Stan and the crew are really professional. They just upgraded our 16 year old A/C to a 16 seer. The installer were awesome and completed the total change out in less than 6 hours. We would recommend American Design to anybody. Thank you Stan and Terry. Also Jeremy and James (installers).
Called multiple times, asked him to please stay in contact and never did. Sent guys out to my house for a quote twice and they left saying “terry will get back with you for a quote” and I never heard from him. I expressed to him that the situation was urgent and he showed no care to that. Very unhappy with ADA

American Design Air, Inc. The AC broke in one of my rental properties, and I needed a new AC company as the one that I dealt with previously was unreasonable regarding pricing. It was late at night, and the owner answered my call and was ready to go and do the repair, but we scheduled it for the morning after. They were punctual and assessed the problem and did the repair work promptly and had the AC up and running with no issues. They were fair and reasonable regarding pricing, and I will be using them going forward. I am very impressed, and I highly recommend them.

Terry is unprofessional and did not install the proper equipment in my home. He installed a 13 SEER heat pump in September 2016, despite the fact that City of St. Petersburg code requires a minimum 14 SEER pump. He further did not install the proper air handler that "matches" with the heat pump, per the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) recommended equipment match. There were also several other code violations, all discovered by a second contractor, and he failed to pull a permit for the work in the first place. He is hard to reach by phone. The only positive is that he did agree to remove all the equipment, and I ended up paying him nothing and going with a different company. I strongly recommend against hiring American Design Air for your HVAC service.
