I recently purchased a 100 year old Spanish historical home that did not have central air or heat. We received a referral from a friend and contacted Cowboy. HE WAS A GODSEND. Dealing with the historical interior and exterior, and with coved ceilings was a challenge. And, given our narrow driveway, he had to use a crane to get the unit on the roof. I was nervous about the whole ordeal but I didn't have to be. Cowboy was professional from beginning to end. He gave us a fixed quote which was more than reasonable. He calculated the requirements of the unit, installed the unit seamlessly, and installed vents in every room. The vents were inconspicuous and just well placed. Needless to say I am ecstatic about the results. On hot days, when I turn on the AC, the house cools in minutes. When I thought the thermometer wasn't calibrated correctly, it ended up being a user error, but he did the call at no charge. Said that it was part of his service. Highly recommend his service.
These folks are everything you want in an air and heating service company. Greg is as honest as they come and truly has your best interest at heart. His family has been in the industry for years -- himself having over 31 years of working experience. They are quick to respond and very reasonably priced. They'll even work with you if you need financing. I can't say enough about this company. They are FIVE STARS in responsiveness, pricing, efficiency and competence. I HIGHLY recommend them!
We have been customers of American Air Plus for many years. When we first moved to the area, we had a temperamental old heating/air conditioning system that often needed help. American Air came highly recommended from our friends. Greg McCullough, the owner and chief technician for American Air, always seemed to drop whatever he was doing in order to get our heating/AC working. After nursing this old unit along for a few years, we purchased a new system from American Air and the installation and service was flawless.We have recommended Greg to anyone who mentions HVAC problems and no one has been disappointed. A few years ago, when my son bought a house in El Cajon, we asked that American Air do the installation even though the San Diego area is generally out of the service area. They are very happy with the "zoned system" that was installed. Greg stands behind his work and I just cannot say enough good things about him. I used to fix some minor appliances myself, but recently my health has prevented me from doing so. When a knob came off of our dryer recently, we didn't know who to call. Although this is not in the area of heating or air conditioning, Greg came out to the house and fixed the problem at no charge. Greg has become a good friend over the years and there is no one else that I would have touch any of my HVAC equipment and is the only one that I would recommend to friends.
